Rizzicks adventures into equestria

Rizzick awoke with a start as the sun was lighting his body in the room to small for a creature his size. He glanced around the room unsure of the nightmare he had making him feel confused about the encounter with the lunar relic. His soul key throb with new sensations tingling around the core of his being as it gained a new ability. He winced and moved his body into a weird position crossing his paw in a  sitting position.

He sung in low tones “Oh weary soul awake within your heart and blossom forth onto new paths, let the darkness be your guide and the light be your path may you always find warmth with strangers and comfort with friends.”

The large Tigerlorn hung his head low with respect in reverence to the one who sung the song. His soul key responded to the song calmed itself fading its new found sensations causing him to give a sigh of relief.

A voice from the window startled Rizzick as the gentle Fluttershy spoke “ That was lovely sir.”

He stood up on all four paws and then said “Don't you ponies know the meaning of privacy.”

She reacted by stumbling backwards confused causing the Tigerlorn to feel regret and before he spoke hurriedly “Ahh sorry winged animal I am not a morning creature.” he awkwardly mumbled.

Fluttershy spoke quietly before she flew off “Its ok.. bye.”

He then smacked his forehead “Great job ghoostie scare the locals with your grumpiness.”

The Tigerlorn exited the borrowed room into the main room where he could smell delicious food. He then saw a variety of vegetables and sweets set out on a large square table. The lumbering creature looked around and saw Pinkie Pie with a few small fillies help setting out the rest of the food.

“Hi my names Scootaloo and that's Sweetie Belle also that's Apple Bloom we are the E'qu crusaders.” he heard them announce quite loudly.

Pinkie Pie rolled an eye at Rizzy and winked with a mischievous smile “Welcome to breakfast time we have muffins, cupcakes and chewable bits for everyone yum yum.”

The Tigerlorn stomach growled with ferocity causing him to quickly stand next to the table. The seats were sadly to small for his rump to sit down upon making him shake his head at his size.

He looked around at all the food before he mumbled a quiet "Thanks."

The rest of the mane six entered the soon upon smelling the food. This startled the new inhabitant to Equestria as he saw so many pastel colors rushing to the table seemingly as hungry as he was.

First was the cyan color Pegasus racing down the stairs and stopped at the table “ So cool and fuzzy love it Rizzles.” He responded by shaking his head with a mouth full of cupcakes.

The mellow pony from earlier slowly flew next to Rainbow Dash and gave a shy nod to everyone. She smiled slightly at him and then with a hoof she started to eat very daintily.

“Yeehaw its chow time y'all seen Spike yet what in tarnations is that?!” as the orange color mare entered the room with a scent of fresh apples about her.

Rizzick by this point gave up on the ponies and was simply enjoying the meal with gusto. His mind wandered as he looked at the ponies he thought its gonna be a long morning.

Twilight made her entrance by the staircase with a magical poof she appeared “That is our guest AJ and when Rarity shows up ill shall explain the events of the last few days.”

She gave Applejack a quick hug as they both turned to the table to take a seat along side their friends. In the kitchens you could hear the loud banging of pans and pots  as the E'qu crusaders helped the cook.

Rizzick  suddenly heard an energetic voice “I shall protect you Sweetie belle!” louder clangs were heard in the kitchen.

A pink hoof scooted three fillies out of kitchen and into the room covered in frosting. This caused the group to chuckle “ Have a seat girls and lets eat!” said Rainbow Dash.

The crusaders chose to sit near the ferocious looking animal and began chewing on their food. Pinkie Pie was humming in the kitchen while the crusaders were watching Rizzick eat his. A multitude of times the pink mare would bounce out with a tray of goodies in three hooves while balancing a bowl of salad on her tail. She served with flare as she pranced across the table serving Fluttershy the bowl of salad and laying the goodies on the wooden table top.

“Sorry I am late ladies but a fashionista must be always a tad late.” Rarity spoke with smile hanging off of her lips as she turned her head that made her smile disappear in a flash.

“Why er sir hello I am Rarity the most well dressed mare in E'qu and you are?” she spoke with a strange awkwardness as she eyed his pelt.

Rizzick rose to his full height looking upon the group with a grimace across his face he spoke “ I am Rizzick Sha a hunter from the lands of Aggeroth a place far away from here, I traveled here by accident and was saved by your pink friend who I owe my life to.”

Rarity gasped and used her magic to summon her fainting couch to catch her fall with a soft thud on her furniture

Rainbow dash rolled her eyes and responded “I missed out on all the fun huh awesome job Pinkie knew you had in ya.”

Pinkie pie appeared flustered for a moment and she said in a hurry “ I couldn't leave him there he would be all blah and fFuttershy be grrr plus he was sooo fluffy and shiny with those sparklies all over him soo shiny.”

Twilight smiled with a sparkle in her eye as her mouth spoke with ease “ You did great Pinkie now lets discuss what has happened in the few days of our absence.”

Rizzick settled on the floor as his head rested on the table he smiled inwardly and thought privately as the purple mare went on about there last adventure. His right eye spied Pinkie delving into a stack of pancakes covered in some kind of white cream, delight was reaching from her fuzzy mane all the way down to her hooves. During the speech there was much gasping and a few stray giggles from Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie that was silenced by Twilight Sparkles stern stare. As the speech finished the mane six began firing questions at Rizzick sha who tried his best to answer earnestly.

The lavender mare spoke with a fierce passion "Do ponies exist on your world Rizzick?"

He responded with a thoughtful expression "I have never seen nor tasted pony meat so I don't think there is."

The ponies shivered as the next question was asked by a quiet Pegasus "Does your world suffer friendship problems um Mr Sha."

He pawed the table top gently as he said "My world suffer's from a lack of friends, we just survived so I don't think there was time for friends shy pony."

The Pink pony gasped for fifteen seconds and then asked "Whaaa no friends, what about cupcakes tell me you have cupcakes!"

He listened to her plea with mild amusement before glumly spoke "I am sorry we never had cupcakes, the plants of our world died off with thewitheringso food was scarce."

The crusaders asked as a group "So what did you eat Mr big kitty."

He raised his paws to his mouth pointing at his sharp teeth before replying "Anything that I could catch honestly."

The group gave a collective sigh all but one pink pony who was poking her cupcake slowly. They began murmuring amongst themselves about a carnivore in the group. He thought this might come up but he sat down calmly eating another cupcake that barely staved off his appetite.

Applejack asked the hard question "So yer a varmint eater then."

He chuckled and spoke roughly "If by varmints you mean animals then yes that is the diet of my current species."

Twilight ears perked up at the last comment and asked "Pray tell sir what do you mean by that?"

"Well I used to be a Vinoan and through a dark ritual the cruel shaman of my world transformed me into a Tigerlorn." he spoke with a no small of amount of anger in his voice.

He then added with a dark smile "But I don't think he intended for me to be a Tigerlorn my soul key must have interfered with his dark magic."

The group stared at him for a moment before Rainbow dash spoke "Well we have seen some transformation spells before by Trixie and you Twilight."

The lavender mare spoke with surprise "Well yes but nothing on this scale Rainbow, this is quite the achievement to reach this state."

Rizzick raised his paw to interrupt the two mares "I have no complaints about being a Tigerlorn they are a sacred beast where I come from something to be respected."

Pinkie Pie jumped up and spoke excitedly "What's a soul key sounds cool does it open stuff like treasure chest's oo I love treasure chest full of cupcakes and frosting!"

He shook his head and spoke "A soul key is a rare trait born among the Vinoan's and perhaps all living things Pinkie we do not speak of it much."

She looked down at the floor pawing it slowly with a slight pout to her lip's as she said "Okie dokie lokie I won't ask then."

He watched her as a twinge sprang from his heart where the soul key resided "But for my savior maybe I can say a little bit about it how does that sound?"

She jumped in the air waving her hooves all sixof them excitedly stunning the big creature for a moment. Rainbow Dash was drawing doodles on a piece of paper while tapping her hoof. Fluttershy was petting a delicious white creature on her lap while listening to the two. Applejack was snacking on a strawberry that was covered in more white cream that made the beast ponder it for a moment. Rarity was looking in a mirror as she levitated another slice of cake to her mouth.

"As I was saying the soul key is a rare trait born among my species and perhaps others this gift helps the person develop magical abilities." he spoke as if it made total sense.

Twilight slammed her hoof on the table as she teleported several pages of paper to her table spot. "What do you mean Mr Sha what kind of abilities and how do they emerge from the soul key." she asked sincerely as curiosity piqued her iris's.

Rizzick scratched the top of his head wondering how much he should spill before he saw a pair of sky blue eye's staring at him in wonder. He sighed "Often the ability is gained when magic is used on the trait bearer, sometimes it appears as a different form of the spell or as resistance towards it giving the trait bearer protection."

All the ponies were staring at him with wonder in their eye's even the magenta eye's of the Pegasus was staring at him. He turned his head away from the group he felt that he couldn't handle this much attention. Pinkie bounced around the room in a blur as if she was excited about something. Twilight was furiously writing on her paper sending multiple page's flying across the room. Fluttershy and Rarity simply continued on with their activities as they listened to the conversation.

"That's as much as I will say about the topic ponies." he said sternly feeling that he gave away to much.

The ponies settled at the table was finishing up their delightful meals frosting and whip topping clinging to their mouths. The delicious white creature looked at the beast across from him fearfully. Rizzick only smiled sending the poor critter up the stairs in a panic gaining a reproving look from the yellow mare. Rainbow Dash laughed as she floated in one spot above the table as she pointed at the fleeing rabbit.

Twilight spoke when everyone was finished “What do you intend to do in this world Rizzick Sha of Aggeroth.”

The tigerlorn felt lost for a moment before he spoke with a long felt resolve from his previous life “ I am hunter that means I enjoy exploring new territory discovering new creatures and people it means I hunt what desire.”

Twilight tightened her jaw and then spoke apprehensively looking upon his fangs “What is it you desire then."

His paw reached up and scratch at his jaw thinking as a slow smile appeared thoughtfully upon his face. His voice spoke with assurance “ I desire adventure ponies I want to feel this land with my new body these paws wants to taste every inch of it.”

He held out his large paws before them while he examined the deadly weapons that is his hands.. Pinkie's face fell at the thought of him leaving but recovered with a mischievous plan in mind. Fluttershy was curiously examining him more from the distance as she wanted to discover more about his physical form. Rarity was still eyeing his pelt imagining what sort of fashion she could come up with before passing a cup of tea in his direction.

Rarity spoke quietly “Do you promise not to harm our ponies..”

Rizzick was struck hard with this simple question and in turn answered “ I am a hunter but thanks to you ponies I am changing into something, perhaps a protector I will only strike at those who intend harm upon myself or ..” he struggled with his words.

Applejack nodded with a newfound respect for the large creature at the table and said “That's a mite bit harder than you think there Riz this land is full of life that is usually peaceful like.”

Fluttershy spoke surprising the others “ And also there is a plenty of dangerous creatures like hydra's and wild dragons that are bigger than you are and plenty scary!”

Rizzick had a private joy alight his soul key causing minor throbs at the thought of new creatures to hunt. Twilight decided it was time to tell him about the changelings that had forced them to flee their last home.

She spoke somberly “ There is a deadly bug like pony called a changeling that can shape shift into anything that it can see, it has to be relativity about its size and weight.”

Rizzick nodded his head thinking back to his entrance into E'qu the exchange between her and the guard made more sense now. The alicorn spoke “Yes that password is a enchanted phrase only spoken by those of true form and heart so the changelings cannot use it.”

“It was a dark and gloomy night as the shadows were prancing in what little light there was.” the purple alicorn spoke as she captured everyone's attention.

Rizzick sat on his haunches to listen as the three little fillies sat around his forelegs watching his movements poking a leg every now and then. “Most of us were in bed that night resting for the next day from duties and lessons but there was a scream that awoke everyone up.” Twilight shuddered at the memory.

Rainbow Dash touched her shoulder and said "I will speak the next part Twi."

She continued the story "The scream came from a traveling pony that was found torn in half  in the street and was being eaten by .. them” Rainbow looked around the room with a tear in her left eye.

Fluttershy gently padded Rd's head and let her speak again “ I was the first to arrive so naturally I was kicking tail beating the names out of them but I was sort of outnumbered.”

Rarity spoke next with pride gleaming off of her marshmallow coat “ I heard our friend in trouble so I dashed out to help after all they were near my boutique but what I saw was a grizzly scene as those ..”

She paused for a moment flustered at her memory “ Those bugs were punching and kicking Dash while I used my magic to support her flinging the creatures off of her.”

The cyan Pegasus  smiled “It was awesome me and Rarity was tossing those things all over but the buzzing noise was getting louder and then suddenly we realized there were a lot mor...”

she closed both of her magenta eyes before she tried to speak but Fluttershy touched her lips with her hoof. The quiet and shy Pegasus looked around slowly but spoke with shaky confidence.

“I was at my cottage when I heard my friends screaming in pain I flew as fast I could outside to see ...” she began sobbing with pain wracking her voice.

“ It was them, those things were murdering my friends while they were laughing I screamed at them to stop I beg but they laughed even louder.” Her soft eye's went dark as she remembered the past event.

The room went silent just for a moment before Twilight spoke breaking the silence “I was out practicing night time maneuvers when I encounter a changeling in mid flight I couldn't see well since the moon hadn't risen yet for some odd reason.”

She spoke growing bolder in tones “ I used my magic to capture it but suddenly I heard screams a lot of screams as I saw Fluttershy being attacked  by a couple of them," she took a breath to continue on "But before I could do anything bulk biceps jump in to save her protecting her from the blasted creatures.”

The sobbing was heard from Fluttershy but she quietly spoke “One of the bigger changelings had a spear in his hoof and said something about a pony on a stick before it charged me I knew I was a goner!”

Rizzick examined the mellow pony feeling more regret at his earlier reactions to this Pegasus but he found no large wounds on her body from such a weapon. she continued speaking like stuck in a trance as Applejack calmly stroked her mane. Rainbow put he wings around the zoned out mare holding her with a tight hug. Rarity passed a few tissues over while making some chamomile tea known for its soothing effects on ponies.

“I closed my eyes thinking I was gonna be dead like some of my friends but I didn't feel a thing, I opened my eyes to see bulky with a spear piercing through his flank while protecting me!” she stopped like a broken clock and stood there.

Twilight could see her friend in more distress and spoke in her place. “ Mr Biceps saved Fluttershy and he fought off the group of changelings."

She then added as a afterthought "Seeing his rage and my attacks to cause them to be chased off temporarily.” she paused as she silent prayers to the celestial artifact.

The lavender mare spoke with passion “ Bulk was bleeding massively from all his wounds, I knew I couldn't save him and he knew it too," she paused as the sobbing grew a notch "He spoke briefly to Fluttershy and then with a smile he passed on saying her name one last time.” both Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy were hugging each other with tears streaking down their faces.

Rizzick was surprised at all of it this these were almost normal events in his old world. But their emotions was moving him while he listened more intently to the story.

Applejack then spoke “We were the first ones to get hit since we were on the outskirts of Ponyville and by tarnations those varmints attacked us in our sleep Apple Bloom was drug off to barn and Big Bac charged in to save her.”

She grew angry as she spoke louder "Those demons were toying with her and our brother knocked them aside silly but it was trap they had made some hidden goo spike thingy's those  damned varmints.”

Apple bloom spoke with a heavy sadness in her voice “Big bro got speared all over his backside but he grabbed me and broke through the nearest wall leaving them bugs inside as it collapsed on them.”

There was a wicked smile that played across the young filly's face “He took me to Everfree that was as far as he could make it blood covered and all."

She spoke with love as her lips trembled "He told me he love's me with all his heart and to run to Zecora's” both AJ and Apple Bloom were hugging each other with genuine love and despair at the same time.

Then Applejack spoke somberly “I went to help granny smith during this chaos I ran into her room as I saw three changelings devouring our granny, there was two dead bugs on the ground she must have took them before they got her."

She stomped her hoof as her eye's were red to the rim "Ah knew she did tarnations ah knew she did.”

The room was full of hugging and tears which puzzled Rizzick he never saw so much affection for each other. Especially over such a tragic event his people would never speak or act like this. He also could feel water building in his aqueducts but he refused to shed them for it was not proper for him to shed tears over ponies he didn't know.

The orange mare spoke “ Ah couldn't save her and I heard Apple Blooms scream as ah fled the room just in time to see the barn collapse and no pony in sight but the buzzing sound grew louder I..”

she was mad and sad but could not a let loose a single tear glistened her cheeks “Ah fled to town cause ah thought big bro and little sis would have ran there but ah saw a even more grizzly scene."

Twilight spoke “ The changeling army attacked in the dead of night with no warning as a third of our population was slaughtered before most awoke.”

Rarity spoke next in turn “ We fought as a group the best we could but we were losing, the surprise was on their side.”

Applejack spoke next with tinge of sorrow “We couldn't find Pinkie Pie but Twilight found us and we regroup trying to gather every pony.”

Rainbow Dash spoke with passion “Prince Chrsldon lead the attack on the bugs that were eating our dead friends I thought to myself we were done in.”

Fluttershy said with a low voice “ We saw a figure on a hill speaking in a foreign language Apple Bloom was standing next to her it was.. Zecora.”

Pinkie Pie spoke with a fervor “ I was leading ponies through my secret escape tunnels outside of Ponyville and then we saw Zecora using her wibbly magic wordies that made most of the ponies invisible to the baddie naughties!”

Twilight spoke with a deep pain “We had to flee far from home we took our injured and fled with Zecora as I took the lead the journey took weeks.”

Rizzick barely noticed the entrance of a zebra pony that stood next to Twilight and spoke in rhyme “This was a bad time for our pony kind.”

Twilight spoke in wonder "We found this lovely glade hidden by its hills and surrounded by lush forest we decided to name our new home E'qu in our language that means all pony."

“That is how we all made it here Rizzy no cakes no parties but we had each other,” the pink pony spoke with a small smile “We had each other.”

Rainbow nuzzled Pinkie  and in turn said “ We decided to never be unprepared again so we built defense's and I trained the cavalier to protect our new home and friends.”

Rarity swished her mane around “It was no Canterlot but it had new sense of creativity about this place, new material that helped protect against the odd weather here.”

Fluttershy smiled for the first time this morning “I made new friends here they were really nice and helped us find a new orchard.”

Applejack smiled stroking Fluttershy's mane “That they did sugar cube we had a few apple tree seeds but we discovered a new tree," She had a wonder etched on her face "That tree grew rather quickly  it had grown peaches who figured it be tasty peaches and in the next few years we ought to have our apples in season.”

Twilight spoke next rubbing her mane anxiously “We named that night the Lost Night because we lost so many we have a memorial in the middle of our town to serve as a reminder to always be prepared.”

Zecora spoke slightly bumping Twilight shoulder “ And to remember our dead even though our hearts will be full of dread its so we can remember them and  we can overcome.”

Twilight spoke with a studious manner “ Its been one year and five days since the event and it appears Pinkie Pie found you I hope this help you understand a little more of our town and its ponies.”
