Celestia is Acting Strange
Ponyville has not been the same since Celestia has been attacked three days ago. It happened during the night, as she walks around Canterlot with two of her guards by her side.
"My sister sure does make the night beautiful," said Celestia, as she looks up to the clear starry sky, "don't you think boys?"
"It really is, your majesty," said the unicorn guard on her left, "my son tells me every night that he wishes he could fly up to the stars and sleep on the moon."
"Hehehe, cute," giggled Celestia.
The stallion guard on her left gives out a face of worry. Celestia looks down at him and cocks and eyebrow.
"Is there something wrong?" asked Celestia.
"N-n-no, p-princess," stuttered the stallion, "I'm f-f-fine."
"You don't seem fine," said Celestia, as she looks at his now trembling body.
"I'm j-just afraid of... the m-moon."
"Why is that?"
"Well," said the stallion, as he takes his helmet off to scratch behind his ear, "my family has been scared of the moon since the dark ages of Equestria."
"The Dark Ages?" asked Celestia with curiosity.
"It was around a time before you were ever known," explained the stallion, "one of my ancestors lived in a small village that was very poor and full of ponies that didn't have much to make a living. The only thing that they did for fun was shoot animals for fun and do barbaric things by having their heads as trophies."
"That indeed does sounds barbaric," said Celestia with a disgusted look.
"One day will change Equestria's history and I'm surprised that there is no info on this in the history books."
"Oh? Do tell."
"One day, it was a cold winter day and it was a perfect time for hunting. Three of the best hunters were sent out to kill a bear. One of them was my father, the other two were his friends. One was named Huntin Down and the other was Bone Crusher."
"Such strange name for ponies. Continue."
"They searched through the nearby forest, but couldn't spot a bear anywhere. They went deeper and deeper into the forest and still couldn't find one. My father and his friends made a small camp for the three to relax and eat some hay from the village. As they ate, Bone Crusher glanced to his right and saw something watching them. He stood up and pointed a hoof to the figure. My father and Huntin looked over to where he was pointing at and saw the figure as well. The figure itself looked like a pony, yet there was something un normal about it. The pony has no fur, thin body, and large red eyes. Bone Crusher tries to walk up to it, but the pony runs away."
"How strange," said the unicorn guard on Celestia's left, "I never heard of anything like this."
"The three left the camp and ran after the pale pony, as it runs into a dark cave. My father takes out a torch and makes small fire to light their way into the darkness of that cave. They walked further deep into the cave and couldn't find the pale pony at all. All they saw was a small river to their left, mossy rocks, stalactites, and small lizards that crawl along the rocks. Huntin stops and says that they should head back. They did and as they were getting close to the exit, the pale pony jumped out from behind a rock and tackled Huntin. The pony opens his mouth, as a long tongue of some sort comes out and bites down onto his neck."
"My goodness," said Celestia.
"That's not normal," said the unicorn guard.
"My father was so terrified he ran immediately out the cave and would not stop running until he made it back home. The villagers asked him about the others and what has happened to them. He assumed that they were dead or so he thought."
"What do you mean?" asked Celestia.
"Few days later on a night like this, my ancestor heard the sound of a mare screaming. He rushed over to the source and within an alley, there was a mare on the floor dead with puncture wounds on her neck and thin from the lack of blood. He couldn't tell if the creature was now aware of the village or that somepony is just murdering ponies. As weeks passed by, there are bodies found every morning with the same wounds. My ancestor knew something was very wrong and decided to go on night patrol. On a dark and cold night, there was this pony wearing a cloak that covered his entire body. He follows the cloaked pony, as he walks around town not talking to anyone nor buying anything. The cloaked pony then wandered into an alley, as my ancestor blocks his path. 'Who are you?' he asked 'are you responsible for killing those ponies, colts, and fillies?' The pony removes his hood and sees who was responsible for the mess."
"Who was it," asked Celestia and the unicorn guard.
"It was surprisingly not the pale pony that killed his friends, but it was none other than Bone Crusher. My ancestor knew it was him even though he looked very different. Bone crusher looked pale, hairless, and had glowing red eyes. Bone Crusher had a tear flowing down his eye, as he puts his hood over himself and jumps over the brick wall behind him. Since then, my ancestor hasn't told another living soul about this, expect for my great great grandfather, my great grandfather, my grandfather, father and now the story has been passed down to me. I bet my ancestors are pretty mad with me for telling you guys this, but now you know why I fear the moon. I'm not a person that goes around at night, but this is my job to look after you, your highness."
"That's quite some story," said Celestia, "don't worry. Your secret is safe with us."
"I won't tell anypony as well," said the unicorn guard.
The three continue walking towards the castle until a scream caught their attention.
"Stay here, your highness," said the unicorn guard, as he levitates his spear close to him, "I got this."
"Be careful," called out Celesta, until the unicorn disappeared to his left.
"Should we follow?" asked the other guard.
"I think he'll be-"
"AHHHHHHHH!!!!!"
Celestia and the guard held their heads up high, along with their ears.
"I must go to him," said the guard, as he rushes towards the same direction the guard went.
Celestia follows behind, but is then stopped once the guard did at a corner of the building. The guard noticed liquid pouring down from an alley, which glinted red.
"Oh no," said the guard, as he takes a few steps back, "it's... b-blood."
"Blood?" said Celestia, as her eyes widen.
The guard gulped, as he slowly walks towards the alley where the liquid is coming from. The guard takes a peek from the side, but couldn't see anything through the darkness of the alley. Suddenly, he hears the sound of agony and coughs. A slight visible figure crawls up to him with something in its mouth. The guard squints his eyes until he was able to get a picture of who it was. It was the other guard, but in a lot of pain. He continues to crawl forward as his body quivered every move he made.
"What's wrong," asked Celstia, as she takes a step forward.
"Stay back, your highness," said the guard, as he pulls out his sword from his side with his muzzle.
The crawling guard makes a stop and falls to the ground, along with his spear with a loud clang. Suddenly, glowing red lights glow deep within the alley. The eyes looked down at the guard, making the guard quiver with fear.
"R-run," said the unicorn guard until he fainted.
The eyes from afar give out a hiss, making the guard take a few steps back.
"Tell me wh-"
Celestia is cut off, as the figure with red eyes jumps out from the alley, but misses his target. The guard gets in front of Celestia, as the creature gets back up on its fours. With the moonlight shining down on the streets, both Celestia and the guard can get a better view of the creature itself. It looked exactly like the one the guard was talking about in his story.
"Sweet Celestia," thought the guard, "it's all true! The pale pony! I must protect the princess."
The pale pony gives them hisses, as it slowly walks up to them.
"Princhesh," said the guard with the sword in his mouth, "run!"
The pale pony runs up towards Celestia, but is stopped by the guard, as he gives the pale pony a tackle. The two were at it, as the pale pony tried to bite down onto the guard. Luckily, the guard was quick enough to dodge. The guard bites down hard onto the sword handle and swings against the pale pony's eye, making white blood squirt onto the guards face, along with a few small worms. The pale pony screeches, as it gets off the guard in pain and places a hoof on its injured eye. The guard himself wipes off the white blood from his face and points his sword to the pale pony.
"Are you okay?" asked Celestia.
Before the guard could tell her to leave, the pale pony charges again and goes after the princess yet again. The guard charges and swings, but misses, as the pale pony makes a leap over him. Celestia was too shocked to attack, as the pony opens his mouth and shoots out its large tongue like thing at Celestia, puncturing her in the neck. Celestia screams with terror, as she flails back in forth. The rushes up to the pale pony and with a clean swing of his sword, slashes the pale pony's head. The pale pony's body and head collapsed to the ground, as white blood oozes out.
"Are you all right," asked the guard, after shielding his sword.
"I must... get back," said Celestia, as she falls to the ground.
"Come your highness," said the guard, as he goes under her wing, "we must get you home."
The guard told me everything about it and my sister is now in her room healing. Without my sister, the sun hasn't been coming up for the past three days. What's strange is that I've been getting reports of missing ponies and reports of death. I don't know what it is, but it must be from that story of the pale pony. Might also be worried about my sister more than ever.
Besides outside of the castle, there have been weird things going on inside the castle as well. Guards have been entering inside of Celestia's chambers and they never come out. I don't know what she's making those guards do, but I hope it isn't what I think it is. Another strange thing is that during Celestia's nursing, she likes her room dark and cold. My sister loves to be out and about, but because of her condition, she's been a little loopy.
I walk along the corridor until I walk up to Celestia's chambers. I stood there and gulped.
"I hope you are okay sister," I thought to myself.
I give Celestia's door a few knocks.
"Sister? I'm coming in."
I use my magic to slowly push open the door, but couldn't see anything within the pitch black room. I take a hoof in and hear the sound of something eating like an animal. I bet my sister has been sneaking cake in her room when I'm not looking.
"Sister? Are you eating cake? Why is the room so dark?"
My horn glows showing me the horror of what a princess shouldn't see in a land so peaceful. I look down at my hooves and see corpse after corpse of guards with their blood sucked out, leaving nothing but skin and bones. Some have their intestines ripped out and some are decapitated. I look up to the bed and see Celestia looking over to me with glowing red eyes, bloody mouth, and intestines in her left hoof. Another thing that was vile about her were the patches of fallen fur on parts of her body. Most other fur was covered in blood from all the guards that came in. The smell in the room was so foul, I wanted to leave the room.
"Sister," I shouted, "what in the hay are you doing?! What's wrong with you?! Why are you eating the guards, you monster?!"
Celestia didn't respond, but did give out tears of blood, as they dripped onto the bloody stained bed.
"S-sister," said Celestia in a distorted voice, "r... run..."
"No," said Luna, "I will not run."
Celeste's horn glows, as she levitates her fill and flings it towards Luna. The body hits Luna, as it splatters blood against her dark blue fur. Luna was so disgusted that she threw up chunks onto the corpse that fell in front of her.
"S-sister, " said Luna, as she wipes her face with the side of her hoof, "you need help. I'll go-"
"Blood."
"What?"
"I want... blood."
"B-blood? Sister, you don't need-"
"Blood," said Celestia, as she walks off the bed and slowly towards me, "I want blood. NOW!"
I quickly close the door on her and ran down the corridor towards the castle entrance.
"This can't be happening! It can't!"
I come up to the castle doors and push them open. Suddenly, the dark night goes red, as the moon above turns red.
"What... the hay?"
I take a step back, but I stop over the sound of many screeches. I flew up to the telescope tower and look down towards Canterlot. To my horror, I see many pale ponies running around and chasing after one another. Ponies were being sucked dry by the things coming out of the pale ponies' mouths, some are being ripped apart and some are being played by some who resist.
"My goodness," I said, as I pull my head away from the telescope, "this can't be happening! WHAT'S GOING ON?!"
I hear a close by screech coming from bellow the tower. I lockdown and see Celestia crawling up with hunger in her eyes.
"GIVE ME BLOOD! WE MUST ALL FEED!"
"Sister," I said, as tears came down my face, "why?"
I take some steps back, as Celestia climbs over the railing. I then heard the sound of hooves coming from behind me. I turn my head and see a guard standing there.
"P-please," I said, as I rush behind the solder, "save me! My... my sister is possessed."
"I need it," said the guard.
"Need what?"
The guard turns his head towards me, as his eyes glow red with evil.
"Blood."
Before I could react, the guard levitates a nearby spear and flings it towards me, catching it on my chest. I scream with pain, as I collapsed onto the floor. My body began to get cold, as my vision began to blur out.
"I'm sorry... sister..."
