(My interpretation of "Lyra and Bon Bon and The Mares from SMILE")

After her cover is blown, Agent Sweetie Drops must return to the agency she once worked for known as S.M.I.L.E. Due to this, and her not wanting to leave Lyra, she decides to recruit Lyra for an old project that was abandoned a month before the first bugbear incident.

Now the two are flung into a world filled with danger and lies, doing things against their own nature that are for the good of Equestria.

The Mare from S.M.I.L.E

Prologue

Equestria... land of the free and home of the brave... i'm sad to say it isn't so. My name is Special Agent Sweetie Drops of SMILE, an Equestrian counter intelligence agency meant to protect Equestria from itself. Sounds noble right? That there are ponies willing to risk their lives for the safety and well being of Equestria? Well, don't get your hopes up. I've seen enough to know that we've caused a fair amount of damage ourselves. Cerberus? Our fault. To put it simply, we left the dog kennel open. How about the Changeling Attack on Canterlot? I mean, we had assets all over that damn city who could've done something, but we did nothing... we were trying to prove a point.

And then we have our worst crime of all... Tirek. Tirek was simply a cover up in order to strengthen our assets known formally as The Mane 6, current bearers of The Elements of Harmony. They may not know it yet but, they work for us. Of course there are many more secrets that we haven't told you... and it's not gonna get better. From here on in it only gets worse...

And that, my dear friends, is not a lie...

Sweetie Drops was sitting quietly at her computer, typing the former into a document she intended to post on some corner of the internet. As she got ready to press the "enter" button the sound of the floor boards creaking echoed throughout the room. She minimized the document and stood up from her chair, gazing around the dark room. "Who's there?" She asked hesitantly as she started to trot around her desk, looking around. "Look, I don't know if this is a prank or... something else... but you've been discovered! Come out now wit your hands up..." Even as she continued to call into the dark, she enticed no response.

With a growl she too out a gun and a badge. "I am with the FBI. I will arrest you if you continue to do this from here on out." She warned as she quickly went to press the post button. Suddenly, her hoof was restrained by a blue, magical aura. Quickly she used her own magic to release the attackers grip, and sent a beam back in their direction, knocking them to the floor. The pony wore a mask, but based on his uniform it waas obvious. This was a pony who worked for SMILE.

She then took out a gun and shot at the pony, hitting them in the foreleg, which caused the pony to curse, thereby revealing it was a stallion. He then lunged at her, letting out a battle cry as he did so. She caught the pony and they began to struggle on the floor for a while, exchanging hits here and there as they tied they incapacitate the other. Soon Sweetie found herself next to a vase, picking it up and bashing the pony's head with it, cutting him in various spots as he let out another grunt of pain. He struck her to the ground and took out a tranquilizer of sorts, trying to stab her as she fended him off with a shard of glass.

Soon she was nocked to the ground with a heavy hoof as she saw the gun in the light. The chemical within the syringe was not Tranquilizer, it was a liquid form of the spell only known as: "Reflection Deflection eh?" She asked with a smile as she tripped him, taking the gun. "Obviously this was test, am I wrong?" She asked him as she played with the gun in her hooves.

"No! They couldn't have sent me to be just some sort of test! I am one of the bes-"

"You were one of the best." Sweetie corrected as she stepped forward, hovering over his body. "Tell me, do you have any family? Any friends outside of the organization?" She asks as she cocks the gun and polishes it a bit. "N-no..." He gulps as his eyes dart around. "No. I don't." He says firmly as he looks up at her, enticing a soft sigh. "Shame... now it's clear what they want me to do."

She suddenly tosses the gun aside and pulls out an actual gun from her coat, aiming it at him. "Say hi to Foxtrot for me will you?"

He gasps. "How did you... but she..." He looks at her as she gives a wink.

[MUSIC STARTS]

He looks at her with wide eyes as she shoots him. "NIghty night."

With a sigh she stood up, looking around before grabbing some items as the sunrise slowly began.

She then stepped outside of her home, fully prepared for an adventure.

She then turned briefly towards Lyra's house, before looking away with a sigh and walking.
