They produce our sustenance... which nourishes life"....Aztec proverb on sacrifice to the Spanish Conquistadors. Where is your heart? You give your heart to each thing in turn. Carrying, you do not carry it... You destroy your heart on earth  Nahua poem Stadium... It Happened In September... The night air was stiff and still, how long had it been? An hour? A minute? A lifetime? All was silent in sleepy Canterlot City. Not a soul stirred in their beds, completely unaware and uncaring. The city of Canterlot knew nothing of the sheer and utter horror that had just happened in the darkness of the night miles away from their sleeping heads. Unaware of what had just transpired miles away in the distance, in the marshy wetlands of the meadows with only the highway to break up the wastelands. Far beyond the lights of the city in the few buildings still using them. One structure briefly broke up the monotony of the darkness, the Metzler Stadium. For a brief moment the stadium had been not unlike how it had always been; a rising circular arena and stadium to entertain the masses. The structure itself was seven hundred and six feet by five hundred and ninety two feet and towered a hundred and forty four feet in the air. The red seats inside it visible from above, the circular ramp walkways to the seats and covered escalator tubes to the upper floors. One minute in the last second before midnight there had been little more than a silence from the awe struck fans in the seat who thought what they had seen had been all part of the show, then...it all became a scene taken right from the depths of hell. From the train station on the outskirts of the stadium where the crew of the train waited for the concert to end. One second the behemoth of the F train that went back to the city was silent, then it lay tilted over with a creak and groan of steel. The train lay on its side a few cars still standing as the shocked crew members who barley saw their deaths before they were spirited away forever, lay dead on the ground. Some where crushed under the toppled cars, a bloody stump of arm or leg the only thing sticking out from under the metal an indication that a human had lived once. In the parking lots; one second there had been happy tailgaters, people with no tickets but still there listening to their music and watching it on their TV's mounted in their cars. Merry and happy as they partied, barbecue and beer flowing as it did back in the halls of Equestrian when there had been festivals and feasts. The next...Everyone was dead, dead and gone without even knowing what killed them. Windows on cars were smashed in and some where flipped on their sides. A whole family had been flattened by their own RV when the blue blast of pure energy hit from the stadium in the distance, and several buses lay on their sides the inner party lights flickering softly as the headlight shined on the dead party goers outside. Bodies...bodies everywhere...from the lots to the gates. People crammed stacked like firewood as the bodies piled out from the stadium gates...the few who had realized too late just it was that was happening tonight. On the upper level above the main gate with the logos of Pepsi Cola indicating the gate it was, their bodies piled one on top of each other as they made a desperate run for the railings. A few lay leaning over said railings, and some poor sods where even impaled through their chests on bits of bars that had been lodged loose by the impact. Bellow on the street level, more flooded in a wave of death out onto the main gates of the plaza entrance. some people had been slammed into the walls; gates, trash cans and trailers for food and bag checks. And everyone from civilians to security guards and dogs were dead. The whole scene was...like an explosion or an atomic blast ground zero only the structure sans broken glass and caved in steel in a few spots. was still standing, not to mention a blast wouldn't have left bodies. The stadium light for a brief moment where still bright and vibrant, like that final moment when the titanic sank. That last second when those shining lights in the darkness of the cruel icy Atlantic and then they went silent forever. Only these lights did flicker back on, emergency generators kicking in and lighting the horrifying scene of the dead surrounding the stadium up again. Inside there were more dead. Masses and masses of crowds who started to flee at the very last second before life was ebbed away from them. They collapsed and began falling on top of each other, or down onto the football field turned stage below. Some leaned over the sides of the stands or in piles on the seats...other where falling off the edges and onto the lower levels, and the blood. Oh the blood, so much of it...all going down the drains of the stadium as its metallic smell filled the air with the stents of death as it flowed and dripped, a modernization of the offerings to the Gods, blood for fulfillment of what mortal beings desire. Was anyone left alive in the midst of such a tragedy of epic proportions? Where there any survivors of this scene that no living person should ever see? Well...there where some. The first sign of life was in the upper box of the control room, where the stadium's sound and PA system was controlled. A shield like spell, cast by one of the two of the Humane seven, the magical as a pony unicorn Rarity and Pinkie. The two girls lowered the shield they used to protect their classmates at Canterlot high from when they lead them up here for safety. Among them were Rose-luck; Lily and Daisy Valley. Vinyl Scratch and Octavia melody, who had just gotten jobs as announcers a week ago at this stadium, Treehugger Tendergrass, Lyra Heartstrings and Bon Bon Sweetie Drops, Eric Inkpot and Dante Brushstrokes. "Who...dudes...what the...what happened?" Treehugger asked as she looked through the Plexiglas window of the booth, intact thanks to the glass reinforcement and the shield charm. When the survivors saw just had happened outside...it hit them. The sight of seeing so much death, so much destruction one could only ask...why? It is said The emotional toll from a traumatic event can cause intense, confusing, and frightening emotions. And these emotions aren’t limited to the people who experienced the event. Round-the-clock news coverage means that we’re all bombarded with horrific images from natural disasters, violent crimes, and terrorist attacks almost the instant they occur anywhere in the world. Even today when the words of our fellow man right from the source often have more truth and meaning than what's spoon fed us by the archaic and manipulative platform of the mass media. Repeated exposure can trigger traumatic stress and leave you feeling hopeless and helpless. Whether you were directly involved in the traumatic event or exposed to it after the fact. Some like Tree and the others could only stare in silence at what they were seeing, the sight of so much destruction and those people, lives swept away in a a single action by... "Holy shit...my God...what...what could have...what could have?" Vinyl asked as she noticed Pinkie Pie, the usually bouncy and happy girl...was silent. She reached over...to the controls for the music system Vinyl was usually controlling. She began to play a song. https://img.youtube.com/vi/2Ko9TpduOhE/mqdefault.jpg The crooning of the singers was...almost fitting. The way it seemed to echo the sight before them all, The others turned to Pinkie and looked at her like she was crazy, but in some ways this was just...her way of coping with seeing a tragedy. In the men's room a few feet down, Flash Sentry and Shining armor also lowered a magic shield. a very rare instance of boys tapping into their pony forms, but it made sense to protect innocent people. Flash Sentry stumbled from a stall and looked around, the survivors including Dean Cadence; Lemon Zest, Sugar coat, Indigo Zapp, most of the students from crystal prep, even Principal Cinch. He seemed to have lost it. "Captain Shining, I need a sitrep and I want the legate to lead these civilians to a secure location." He said picking up a broom handle and brandishing it like a spear, he'd been deluded by the shock into thinking he was his pony version, a commander in the royal guard. Shinning was confused. "Dude...what are you talking about? We...ponied up as it seems and protected these people...relax and calm down." He said looking around for his wife Cadence and their daughter...He found her holding the sniveling infant in one of the stalls, a miraculous survivor of this terrible tragedy. "Hunny? I think we should go now, get everyone out of this place. Cadence didn't even look up from her daughter as she rocked her, a crazed look in her eyes. "Go? Why Shinny, why would we ever want to go? we're nice and safe from everything out there...shhh easy there Flurry, mommy's got you." She began singing hush little baby to her daughter. "Legate Zapp, report? What is your status? I wan you and the others in position to garrison this location in case the hostiles return." He said brandishing the broom handle at Indigo. "You're crazy Flash...back the fuck off with that crazy talk or I'll...shove that broom where the sun don't shine!" Indigo was going through anger. They survived but they'd never be the same. Here and there, pockets of survivors emerged amidst the carnage. Down on the field, where the stage was set up for the performance, the front row center audience looked up from cowering in fear, thankfully alive. Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle in their most powerful forms for just a few moments more, looked up to see them, thankful they all survived. Among them included The Dazzlings; Jim Spades, Sour Sweet, and...oh no. "Starlight?...Starlight?" Sunset said as Starlight lay on the grass of the football field, she wasn't moving. It wasn't the blast of magic that broke through the barrier that got her, it was a bit of stage light that struck her in the skull..."wait...look, she's breathing...but just barley." She said as Trixie Lullamoon crawled over to them, her clothes had some rips and her lips were bleeding. It wasn't all her blood though, she'd used them in a last ditch effort in a fight. Trixie placed her hand on her Starlight's head and focused as much as she could in her state. "Take care of her." Twilight said softly as the two girls turned to look up at the stage...at what they had tried and somewhat failed to stop. The stage had been decorated in the typical trappings of a stereotypical metal band. Eastern Star, a steel devil head wired with fire and smoke, and statues of The Sumerian gods Moloch and Bapthomet, devours of the innocent and small, and the corrupters of men. There was nothing about these eulogies that was for show though, for there in the center of them was the one responsible for this travesty. "My queen, take this blood, take this flesh and live again." He said this to a stone sarcophagus with the body and head including the headdress of an Egyptian queen. He himself wore a black tee and jeans, heavy boots and he looked like he was dressed in very convincing zombie makeup. Only thing...it wasn't makeup. "wait...what's happening? Why isn't she awakening?" The rock-star turned necromancer said to the stone. There was an eerier chill and an echoing voice that could be hear over the looping music from the sound booth. "Because some of them survived you FOOL! You have failed me little mortal man, you do not deserve to take me as your bride, and you don't deserve to be restored to full flesh, stay in your state of living necrosis and forever be outcast from any world you run away too, yes...even returning to where you lived as a trotter on hooves, they will see you for what you are." The voice died down as he turned to see the survivors on the grass bellow the stage. "NO! My queen, my Goddess, please they interfered...take their bodies and forgive me...I'll kill them myself and make you see I am worthy of your love." He said pulling a knife from his belt. He turned and leapt from the stage, right at Sunset Shimmer...Shimmer..Shimmer... "MS. Shimmer!" Ms. Cheerilee, usually not a teacher to raise her voice to her students shouted across the class room to the still sleeping Sunset Shimmer. Ms. Cheerilee usually was willing to look the other way when that happened but Sunset had been sleeping in her class for the past hour, at least three classes had past and she had't even moved. She was almost going to call the nurse to see if something was wrong with her. Sunset's eyes flew open alert and awake, she reached to her chest to steady her heart from it's increased pace. "Ms. Cheerilee! Are...Are you alright?" She asked as the memory of everything she saw was still fresh in her mind. It all felt s o real, like she had some kind of precognitive vision of the future. "Of course I"m alright, but if you're going to sleep for an hour in school, may I recommend you see a specialist?" She said with a huff as she gave her a pass to the class she was supposed to be in. Sunset didn't tell anyone her dream, especially when a few things that began to line up with she'd began to start happening in teality. It started in the lunchroom, she took her seat and could barley eat. She woke from her dream tired as hell, a side effect of a bad dream. A much happier girl, Vinyl took her seat beside her and looked over at her her frown faltering some. "Whoa Sunny, you look like a road apple run over by a semi." Vinyl said as she popped the lid on her Tupperware of crasins and nuts. Sunset looked up from her gardenia salad and tried to smile. "I'm okay, just tired...anything new with you?" She asked trying to take a bite of her food. "Well...I got a sweet new job...get this...I'm." "The sound and music technician for Meltzer stadium?" Sunset said her head snapping up instantly awake. It was all starting to become surreal and like...a warning. Vinyl chuckled softly in amazement at how accurate she was. "Gee Sunset you psychic or something?" Vinyl said as she ate, she was only half joking but for Sunset, it was no joke. Sunset could only rest her head on the table as she didn't see a spiky haired student pass her by, she didn't see the song he started listening too on his MP3 player either. It was a new cover of God of thunder by a new rock band that had something of a unique gimmick to their act. This band went by the name Maximum Mayhem, and claimed to have a once thought dead rock star in their band. A rock star that allegedly died years ago when his show was "reenacting" an ancient necromancy ritual on stage, a ritual stunt that went..wrong, and a pyrotechnic "accident" had killed him. Though no body was ever found and now Maximum Mayhem was claiming that his "death," was actually the biggest publicity stunt for the biggest comeback tour of all time. A death metal rock star though killed by the lifestyle they so dearly embraced, now actually "back from the dead?" It's the ultimate stunt any rock star could ever pull!...It is just a stunt right?...right? //-------------------------------------------------------// Filling In The Blanks. //-------------------------------------------------------// Filling In The Blanks. "What in the nine circles Tarus are you wearing Sonata?!" Adagio asked as she took one look at her siren sister Sonata dusk. Sonata wore a black tee shirt with the word Bane written in a special text and color that looked like blood. She had a black leather jacket with shoulder spikes on them and she had goth patters of eyeliner and ratty worn jeans with everything from fish hooks to buttons on it. She chuckled into her hand softly as she struck a pose, her hands out and flairing as she jutted her hips out. "It's the latest craze at school Adagio, everyone is into the band Total Mayhem." She said as she took out a tube of black lipstick and puckered her lips together as she applied some. Her other sister Aria wasn't so agreeing with her in that regard. She stood off to the side and scoffed rolling her eyes. "Total Mayhem ugh! Bunch of posers if you ask me. I mean all they do is cover songs by bands that have come before them when are they ever gonna make any material of their own? I mean how can a crappy cover band get as popular as the very bands they try to be?" She said as she blew a lock of her hair out of her face. Sonata picked up the remote to their TV and chuckled with a flick of her wrist to turn it on. It was a live coverage of their concert in New Orleans, "It's all about the image girls, I mean just look at their lead singer! Did you know this guy...only goes by the band name Mayhem. He supposedly dies years ago and came back from a faked death as P.R stunt. Just look at him too, they say he never takes his zombie makeup off. My Goddess it's like Tom F'en Savini did that makeup job!" She said as the face on the TV became one with a hideously sick green and dark black lips and eyes as yellow as the sickly unseeing eyes of a dead man. It was like a living Mary Shelly Frankenstein with hallmarks borrowed form the cinematic one. "Lame..." Aria said as she clicked it off. She collapsed onto the sofa and pouted. "Sonata, just when I didn't think you could get any goofier." She sat back as Adagio awnsred a knock at the front door. It was Sunset Shimmer; she had been walking around in the rain to their house, her clothes were soaking wet and her hair was lying flat against her face. "Sunset? "It's nice to see you but, heavens girl what are doing out in this weather?" She said stepping aside and guesturing her to enter. Sunset wiped her feet on the rug as she entered. "Nice to see you girls too, but...this isn't exactly a social call." She said an all too familliar looking book protetced from the weather under her arms. Adagio look one look at the book and knew it was serious if it meant....writing to her friend from "far away." "I'll put some coffee on." Was the only thing she could say to assess the situation. Dear Twilight; I know this will sound crazy, but I need to know if you know any Equestrian ledgends about a necromancer that may have been banished by someon...some pony like Starswirl, similar to how he banished the sirens here. "Oh you just had to bring that up didn't?" Aria said with a scoff as Sunset blushed and apologized as she continued writing. The four of them had gathered around the Dazzling's kitchen table. Mugs of coffee steaming away as they tried to find a connection between Sunset's dream and the rise of that band...Was there a connection? Was it really another threat from their old home only far more dangerous than anything they'd ever faced? "Sorry girls, but it was the closest I could compare." She continued, There's this rock and roll band that's drawing in crowds like crazy and all they do is cover other songs by other bands, their lead singer matches a lot of these old Equestrian texts on living zombies and necromancy...Which I swear I was looking up solely for research purposes. Anyway, I need to now because...just as this band came around. I had this horrible dream, we...that is myself and my friends and even that mirror version of you. We were in a stadium and everyone in the stands except for us and some of our friends...they where...dead Twilight. Everyone we know in this world and yours was dead. Blood was running down the stairs and drains into the stadium like a basin. I think it was a vision of what could happen. I'm writing because I just have to be sure, sure that this is something I'm gonna need to call every thing and everyone we have to...I just need to know. Do you know or can you look up if any pony that practiced the dark arts and necromacny was sent here to strip them of their power? Sunset Shimmer. It felt like hours before the book began to shake and glow, when Sunset opened it up...she didn't know how to feel about what Twilight had written back. The statute; tonight. //-------------------------------------------------------// More Clues //-------------------------------------------------------// More Clues The girls had gathered by the statue of the Canterlot High Wondercolt, late into the night long after everyone was gone for the night waiting for the other pony verse Twilight to arrive from Equestria. Aria leaned against the stone side with a scoff, "Sonata would you please promise me you'll change back into your normal clothes when we get back?" Sonata still worth the gothic and punk like getup she wore the first time she got into Total Mayhem. "I can't help it, just the way they are so cool and dangerous it just makes me feel like I can take on the world and no one else can stop me." She said as if a tiny bit of her old siren self just with more of Adagio'so venomous tenure and ambitious demeanor. It was enough to make the girls a bit uneasy. "What's gotten into you? Sonata I can't believe I'm saying this but you're starting to remind me of well myself not too long ago. Sunset said as she watched the portal, before any one else could say anything about the issue further a familiar glowing aura emitted shimmering and emitting a soft hum as a familiar girl tumbled out of a portal. "Ugh! If I could only learn to land on my hooves...eh feet every time I come here." Twilight Sparkle got up from the ground and brushed the ruffles and dirt off her clothes, Sunset couldn't help but smile at seeing her first friend in this world again even with the other one closer to them now. Twilight had a bagreat on her side note unlike the saddlebags ponies wore, it was full to fat thickness with books. "Hello again Twily, mhhhh it's always such a wonderful thing to see you here." Sunset said helping her up with a hug. As she did Adagio began to pick up the clearly equestrian in origin books and started reading the titles of a few. "Secrets Of Necromancy? The Art Of Death?..." They also had big official looking stamps aND etched markings on them, warnings from the Equestrian bureau of ethical magic that said things like; warning for research and historical purposes only! Twilight snatched the book back with a chuckle. "After the death of Starswirl The Bearded, his will and final decree was the outlawing of dark magic, including necromancy, but books on the subject were kept from being banned or destroyed on the grounds they only be used for history of magic and understanding of how much harm the practice did." "A year or two of history class in this world and I wish it had the same mentality on some of its own own issues." Sunset said as they all made their way to The Dazzlings house. As they did, they passed the two geeky guys from school; Whiz and Bright Idea, both on their way home from the movies and both of them listening to Total Mayhem covers of the songs God Of Thunder and Iron Man. The loud primal and angry sounding growls and snarling vocals from the little seashells called earlier buds on the sides of their headstuff making the glare as they tried to find something to talk about. It was Bright who finally asked, " You got any candy left?" As Whiz pulled a box of malted milk balls from his pocket, he began scarfing them down greedily. "Piss off, they're mine." He said with a mouth rudely full of chocolate and crunchy candy. Now you must understand that under normal circumstances, Whiz Kiddo and Bright Idea were usually the best of friends, and it was really jarring to see them arguing over something as minor as some candy. "Okay alright...Mr. Greedy, did you at least like the movie?" Bright only shrugged and scoffed send bits of food flying. "At least Jyn is better than Rey, I hated her the second I saw her and was just waiting for Kylo Ren to chip her head off with his saber...bitch." TheYou had gotten back from a screening of Rouge One. "Hey Whiz don't you think that's a bit harsh to say? I mean okay so you didn't like her, I don't think you should be saying that." "Oh what you like it when Mary Sues come in take the spotlight from the characters that are actually cool?! That's what she was, a total creator's pet that Olympic the director loved because she's his perfect little angel, I bet that's what he sees his kids as you know?" He said his teeth gnashing and grinding Saturday spittle flew with hisses like anew angry jungle cat..or a snake as he spoke. Bright could also see Whiz clenching and shaking his hands as if he made the motions of viciously strangling and violently shaking the life out of someone. "Whoa dude calm down you're starting to scare me." Whiz only turned to him a fire in his eye as he smiled wickedly at him. "Oh I'm scaring you? Don't you get it? The time to be soft...to be thinking words and just talking can fix any of the world's problems? Makes me sick! I just wanna...wanna arrrhhh!" He screamed like a man possessed by the devil, spewing angry and vile words as he rimmed his hand through the window of parked car, like a junkie on angel dust the pain seemed none existent all the while screaming "I'll tear out your eyrs; I'll rip out your tongue and I'll claw your face off into confetti and eat the ribbons of skin like strips of raw bacon! Yeeearrrrghhh!" "My God! Whiz you're gone completely insane" Bright said, but it only riled him up more. The air seemed to grow deathly cold as Whiz wrapped his bleeding glass embedded hand on him and began shaking and strangling the other boy all while snarling and growling almost animalisticly so. Bright clutched a silver Star Of David in his pocket and spoke through gasps for air. "Oh God of Israel, may Michael be at my right, and Gabriel to my left." Fragments of a prayer his Grandmother would recite to him when she put him to bed every night as a little boy in his one piece pajamas, that number that was forever inked with a triangle on her upper arm caught his eye one night, when he asked what it meant she only told him...when you're ready I will tell you." During the struggle, Bright did manage to pop the ear buds blaring loud rock music into Whiz'so ears out and in doing so seemed to change him instantly. His face noticeably softened up and he seemed to realize just what he was doing, like sombnimbulis who shoplifts in t hier trance and wakes up inside the store with the alarms blaring. His hand slackened and while it can take as little as three minutes to die from strangulation not even taking into account brain damage sustained by lack of oxygen. "Whiz? What...what's going on?" He asked as the pain of his arm finally kicked in. It was like waking up from a nightmare that you feel pain almost so real right up until you wake up and it's gone. They old book creaked as Twilight flipped it open, it showed a very ancient lithograph image of a stallion with a green coat, as green as the Moss that grows on the barks of dead trees or rotten flesh on a corpse, his mane was limp stringy and white as dusty cobwebs. "This him?" She asked, the others looked from his picture to the clipping from a promo picture for the rockstar's concert. To thier surprise there was no name listed to the entry in Twilight's book. When everyone nodded at her, Twilight knew things werect only just going from bad to worse. //-------------------------------------------------------// Magic And Technology //-------------------------------------------------------// Magic And Technology Sci Twilight clicked the button on her recorder to star taking audio notes, the two boys in the room had various monitoring equipment from an EKG reader to stress level testers. They were the two had listening to Total Mayhem covers of metal songs. Bright hadn't been angry with deep down he knew it hadn't been his fault. "Subjects Whiz Kiddo and Bright Idea, Bright says Whiz attacked him in a fit of anger over a miniscule detail on the evening of Tuesday earlier this week." For safety given the incident that had brought them here, Whiz was handcuffed to the chair he was in for the experiment. If what these two had told Sci-Twi was true, she'd need them restrained. Elsewhere at the house The Dazzlings called home said Dazzlings; the pony Twilight, Flash and Sunset Shimmer along with several other people who Twilight and Sunset had trust and faith in to help them. Twilight was busy flipping through the pages of an old weathered occult book. "So let me get this straight, the lead singer of Total Mayhem is a necromancer from your world? And he's trying to raise an ancient Egyptian demigoddess from the grave at a concert, which he tried to do back in the eighties, but failed cause there wasn't any magic here correct?" Flash said as he strummed away on his guitar. "Yes...thats the basic idea of it...but Ithen just sounds...so.. I don't know run of the mill. Like there's gotta be a deeper motive behind this...something I'm not seeing." "So what was it that you felt when you had your little...episode let's call it Whiz?" The Sci-Twi said to Whiz as she took notes on his heart rate, stress level and adrenaline as she adjusted the headphones on him. "WellI though The Force Awakens was okay when Bright and I first saw it...but I never liked that Rey character...now that we saw Rouge One I like Jyn more...you see we were talking about that when...I just...I felt all my anger and everything that just gets me irritated like it just boiled over, and I just had to unleashit all on something." Twilight took down everything he said in her notes before turning to Bright, "okay Bright what is it you said made him stop?" "He kinda lost focus when I popped the ear buds playing our music out, guess my mom was right about rock and roll it's evil." Sci-Twi only tsked as she began to push okay on the music. "I've seen magic and felt it's presence, but I'm not sure if evil was the reason, there's a logical explanation before we jump to a wizard did it. Now I'm going to monitor both of your vitals and the music on various wavelengths to see if they affect you emotionally and or physically, okay ready? Beginning controled test number one." "In order for Mayhem to be alive even though his physical body was originally destroyed, I'm guessing he borrowed magic on how to turn oneself into a lich." Twilight read from the book, the pages showing illustrations of a human undergoing various stages of decay only while still alive until only a skull and bones remained. "What's a lich?" Flash asked as he and few others gathered around to listen. "When somepony I'm Equestria who could use magic would use it to tinker with their very souls. Liches can survive almost every thing that happens to their bodies...unfortunely for Mayhem he has one weakness. "And what pray tell is that Twilight?" Aria asked as she kept her attention on her sister Sonata, who looked ready to up and leave any second now...something about her just didn't sit with Aria, more so than usual. "Equestrian liches can only lose an immortal physical body one time, their semi corporeal form after their first death is stronger, or the very least has less weaknesses than a physical form but once it's destroyed they're gone for good." "So unlike the time Sunset and them this world's Twilight went all demon on us, the magic of friendship isn't gonna help us this time I bet." Rainbow asked. "I don't know, my friends and I back in Equestria have always faced the worst evils, and it has been our friendship that saved us, but now...uhhh if I could understand the other motive behind this! There just has to be more to this then the resurrection of a dead demigoddess there just has to be." "Status of experiment, subject has been introduced to the alleged source of increased anger, hightend levels of adrenaline and increased stress. Readings so far no noticeable changes." Twilight dictated into her recorder as she watched Whiz, he was restrained in the chair as his headphones played a Total Mayhem cover of Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb from the 1979 album The Wall. Like all their covers it was a lot more metal then the source of it had been from that genre originally or not, Pink Floyd having been more progressive and psychedelic rock. "Not feeling it yet?" She asked as she noticed a slight rise in Whiz's heart rate on the EKG and a spike in adrenaline from his adrenal glands. "I'm feeling PO'ed get this crap off me Twilight" He said glaring at her, as he said that his stress level rose and he began to wiggle in his restraints. "Hmmm interesting, noticeable rise in vitals just seconds after introduction to test catalyst." "No duh Anna Freud! Now are you gonna get this off me or do I have to snap the cuffs before I thrash you?" He said his face getting redder as he began to gnash his teeth and hiss at her in an almost animalistic manner. "Rarity; I know this may sound strange but I need you gather up as much silver as you can and bring it to the royal guard's quartermaster in Canterlot, I'm also gonna need my magic fire dust, and I need that silver made into daggers, and necklace charms that look like this," she paused to draw onto the note of the magic book that served as a messaging link between worlds a cross. "Does everyone here honestly believe in this symbol? I'm pretty sure that they'll only protect us if you do." Twilight asked the group paying for a second, several hands went in the air but not all of them, she continued writing. "Send them to this world and please hurry, I fear time is short and this world needs all the help Equestria can give it. The others in the room could only chatter among themselves wondering what lay ahead of them, as Twilight closed the book and turned to look at Sunset. "Now where did you say you had that dream take you?" "Experiment update, have taken subject away from controled test catalyst, levels slowly but surely returning to normal, brain wave read outs are off the charts...if only I could conduct a proper CAT scan for full reading. EKG shows heartbeat 180 over 200, stress levels up to near fatal combined with adrenaline levels and dilation of pupils. However all levels returned to normal almost instantly upon removal of the music...more research may be needed." Twilight said as she looked at the knocked over chair with the broken restraints and the kicked open door to the garage of her house she used as an ersatz laboratory, the damaged equipment still emitting smoke and fizzlyin from being violently handled.
