A Night at Canterlot High School (Choose your own adventure)

“Owwww… w-wha… what just happened?” Sunset Shimmer groaned to herself. Her hand moving to her forehead as she felt a throbbing stinging pulse coming from her brain in the form of a massive headache. With much added effort she cracked open her eyes and peered around the room.

She was on the floor of one of the many Canterlot High School classrooms, that much was obvious. But something was off… The clock on the wall read it was slightly past midnight!

“Night already?” Sunset mumbled as she nursed her aching head. Her recent memories concerning how she ended up here were all a blank. “Alright, what’s going on?” She figured even if she did doze off in the classroom, the janitor or someone would have shook her awake shortly after the school got out for the day. No… she must have been drugged asleep! But even so, wouldn’t her friends had tried to help her if that was the case? Plus, she could have sworn she was just hanging out with them before all this…

Sunset took in more of her surroundings. She was in Cheerilee’s classroom. A lone shiny read apple a student had used in hopes of bribing their way to a better grade sat atop the empty teacher’s desk. It was dark, seeing as the lights were completely off. There was no one else in the room… at least, not anymore. She was still completely dressed in her normal black jacket along with her matching top and skin tight leggings… always a good sign to take after waking up from a drug induced sleep.

Sunset couldn’t help but shake the nagging sensation in the back of her head that something was wrong… Very very wrong.

Suddenly, she heard the unmistakable sound of footsteps approaching the classroom door from the outside in the otherwise silent hall! Not just a single pair, but several headed in her direction. There was still time before they entered…
