"Alright, alright, I'm sorry!" Discord said, backing away from the angry pegasus. Behind her, a small, black bunny was yanking at her tail, hiding behind a box. Fluttershy swiftly swiveled around, staring at Angel Bunny.
"What do you want!?" Fluttershy screamed, making the small bunny cower even further. The pegasus dropped to the ground, snatching the box that he had jumped in and shaking it.
That's... rather violent... Discord thought, slowly backing away towards the door. Back in the normal universe, he'd probably have made some remark at it, but now he was genuinely worried for the small rabbit, and it seemed like his sense of humor was stuck.
Fluttershy's screams at Angel bunny slowly faded as Discord flew away, thinking. He could easily just snap his fingers and return to his own world, but now he was curious, and for two reasons. One, he wanted to see what Fluttershy's friends would be, and two, there was a strange thought that had just been put in his head. He actually wanted to... make friends!?

"Oh, nothing," the dull pony said, flipping through a book. Her mane, as Discord did not remember, was completely flat and straight, as was her tail. Pinkie Pie looked up at Discord, raising an eyebrow. "Why are you still here?" she asked in a monotone voice.
"Well," Discord started, "I was hoping to, oh, I don't know, perhaps make friends? Fluttershy has been rather... well, not very shy while I was there." In response, Pinkie Pie just went back to her book. Discord nearly jumped when there was a shriek from downstairs. Concerned, he zoomed down the stairs to find a certain pony hopping around, her mane exceptionally poofy.
"Where is Boulder?" Maud screamed, hopping around, worry creasing her features. Before Discord could make a comment, she zoomed off, yelling something about finding him. Discord wondered who in the multiple alternate worlds who Boulder was, but his train of thought was disturbed by a certain pony who had just come into the shop.
The blue mare wandered throughout the shop, her pace stiff and exquisite. Her dark blue mane and black fedora were glimmering and sparkling. Three freckles speckled each cheek. Her cutiemark had been obscured by an impeccable dress of pink and blue diamonds.
"Oh, Rarity, I'm so glad that you're here! I was wondering-"
"Sorry, can't chat," the blue mare said, putting up a hoof in Discord's mouth. "I, and my family, are here to buy some..." the mare's eyes batted left and right, muzzle crumbling up. "Uh, bread loafs! Yeah, we came here to get some bread loafs. For the Apple family. Now, if you excuse me, we must speak with the shop owner at once." With a firm posture, she trotted past the counter and into the kitchen.
Discord called for her, "Wait, where is Rarity?" That certainly can't be Applejack.
She turned around, her city accent heavy. "That dirty mare is at those farms, probably rolling around in mud. I heard that she had stole Maud's boulder, that greedy farmpony." Discord was cross eyed, unsure of what to think. Applejack, a dishonest business pony, and Rarity, a thieving farmpony!? This world really was strange.
He felt something bump into his back as he was gawking at Applejack, but the pegasus had beat her to it.
"S-s-sorry!" she stuttered. Now this was just baffling. The orange pegasus with the strange rainbow mane that was in a bun had large, nerdy glasses on, with a giant book stuffed in her face.
"Rainbow Dash?! Is that you?" Discord said, staring. Rainbow Dash slowly shrunk to the ground, trying to look anywhere but at Discord.
Then, in the quietest and softest voice, "Um, yeah, I just came here to help Pinkie Pie with this long, new recipe. I can't wait to read it, but um, I'm really sorry."
"Why are you saying sorry?" Discord asked, still not believing that this egghead was Rainbow Dash.
She cowered back even further. "Oh, I'm sorry."
"No really, you don't have to say sorry!"
"OkayI'msorry!" And at that, she made a run for the stairs. Discord was about ready to leave this strange world before he heard somepony shouting outside. Curious, he made his way out of Sugar Cube Corner and floated around the building, searching for the ruckus.
"Yeah, get him!" a mare yelled. "This is awesome!"
After turning the second corner, he saw a green alicorn eating popcorn, sitting behind a glowing box.
"What in the-?" Discord muttered, floating over. The small box had a screen, with a small pad connected to the bottom. two ponies inside the box shooting lasers at each other.
"Yeah, get 'em!" Twilight yelled at the box, stuffing move popcorn into her face. Discord only noticed then that her hair was in major disarray.
"Twilight, you're so... unorganized! And what is that box? Wouldn't you rather read a book or something?" Discord asked. Twilight looked away, blinking twice before recognizing the question.
"What do you think I am, some egghead? I'm not reading a book. Now go away, I'm trying to watch this video." For the princess of friendship, she's not very friendly, Discord noted, floating off. Applejack had said something about Rarity being at the farms, and that had sparked Discord's curiosity.

"Yeah, okay, I'm done," Discord said to the angle's shot, getting ready to snap his fingers. Behind him, a black unicorn in overalls was rolling around in a large pit of mud, pigs running rampant.
"C'mon Dis-cord! Come join'n the fun!"
Snap.
In a flash, everything disappeared, then reappeared. The white unicorn was lying in a pit of mud, purple hair in disarray. Her eyes twitched as she looked around, before letting out an ear piercing shriek that could probably be heard from Griffinstone.
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!
A small sofa flew out of a bush and Rarity jumped on it, twitching. Discord just watched her, chuckling. Then, turning towards the camera angle, he raised a finger. His expression faltered and he lowered his finger, talking to the camera and saying, "Well, I was going to tell a pun about mud, but I think it's too dirty for you."
