Movie Night with a Magician
You have been attending CHS since you were a freshman and you couldn't be any happier. Everyone there seemed nice and friendly but there was always that one person who hate's you and that person is Trixie Lulamoon.
You can still remember when the two of you were the best of friends, hanging out with each other every moment that the two of you had. That was until the incident that separated the two of you ever since. It wasn't pretty as you tried to calm her down only to result in something different.
[Freshman Year]
It started off like a normal school day. Everyone you knew seemed to smile or wave at you and that seemed to make your day. But that was until you accidentally bumped into Trixie while you were waving at your friends.
Trixie was apparently holding some of magician equipment with her. When you bumped into her the props she was holding fell and broke. Shaking your head trying to get your vision back only to be interrupted by the magician.
"No! That cost Trixie a fortune to get!" When you got your vision back she seemed to be angry with you.
"Why did you break Trixie's equipment?" You looked down to see her equipment broken on the floor. Luckily you knew a thing or two about fixing things.
"Hey calm down Trixie. I can fi-"
"Trixie isn't the one who needs to calm down! You now will face the wrath of Trixie Lulamoon." she exclaimed balling her fists in the air. By now everyone including your friends were looking at the scene unfold.
"Hey don't worry, I can fix your equipment so it will look nice and brand new." You said placing a hand on her shoulder. Trixie on the other hand didn't seem to like the sudden contact.
"No! That equipment is one of a kind and get your filthily hands away from Trixie!" She yelled pushing you in the lockers. You weren't the fighter kind of type but rather one of the most sensitive kid in CHS. Not wanting to start a fight you continued to calm her down.
"Come on Trixie don't start this into a fight. Just because I accidentally broke your equipment doesn't mean you should start a fight with your best friend" You replied placing your hand back onto Trixie's shoulder once more. By now she looked madder than ever, probably the maddest you've ever seen somebody be.
But the sudden contact for the second time seemed to be the final straw for her. She lifted her other hand and slapped you as hard as she could. The slap could be heard from across the hallway, earning a chorus of gasps from the students in the crowd.
Everyone you met knows that you were in fact very sensitive. About 86% of the students there were people you knew just watching you get into a conflict with Trixie.
As the slap came across your face it felt like a punch so you fell on your side crying about the pain it inflicted. Everyone in the crowd went silent as you started to cry.
Then people who knew you in the crowds started to talk about what happened.
"Trixie just slapped one of the most nicest guys in school."
"He offered to fix her stuff and she just slapped him."
"I thought they were best friends!"
"Now he's crying on the floor and Trixie is to blame." The crowd looked at Trixie angrily as they started to boo her and throwing garbage at her for making you cry.
Trixie realizing what happened looked shocked as she stared at you as you were crying on the floor. She put her hands across her face as trash was starting to be thrown at her. She ran off crying across the hallway as your friends started to walk their way over to you.
"Hey don't cry, she's just a jerk to everyone."
But that was not the case. You were best friends with Trixie so why did she slap you? Even she knows you weren't that much of a fighter. Your heart sank as you realized that she probably doesn't want to be your best friend anymore.
But you didn't have time to think about it as you were starting to be late for class so you hurried to class wiping a tear off your face.
[Present Time]
Trixie was now the most hated girl in CHS. She was starting to get bullied everyday since the incident. Although she didn't deserve you knew that the friendship you once had with her was now over.
Every time you see her coming in your direction you run off not wanting to see her anymore. It did make you sad knowing that the two of you couldn't hang out but you started to question your friendship with Trixie.
If she was truly your friend she wouldn't have hurt you in the first place. But the day before the incident the both of you had your Thursday Movie Night. She didn't look mad at you but instead she was eager everytime you had movie night at your house.
You were always the horror film type so when it was your turn to pick out a movie you chose, Candyman.
Although Trixie didn't like horror films she didn't want to leave despite you telling her it was fine if she wanted to go.
There was always scary parts towards the movie but as a result Trixie wrapped her arms around being terrified. After the 3rd jumpscare she stayed resting her head on your lap as she watched the movie.
You were confused to why she was staying like that but you shrugged it off not wanting to ruin Movie Night. And that was how the rest of the night was. Trixie turning around burying her face in your chest when she was frightened by the movie. You found it rather odd but still cute.
Stroking her hair always calmed her down or so that's what you thought. Everytime you would do it sh
But as another scare popped in you were suprised that her grip loosened a bit. As it turned out she had fallen asleep still embracing you with a smile on her face. Not wanting to wake her up you turned the T.V. off and grabbed a nearby blanket and wrapped around Trixie and yourself.
You smiled remembering that memory before shaking it off reminding yourself those days were over. As the last bell rang you got up from your desk and went back to your locking. Gathering the things you need as you put them in your bookbag.
You let out a happy sigh as tomorrow would be Friday, last day of the week. Closing your locking you turned to your right and let out a yelp as she was standing right over there.
'Trixie'
You instantly ran away grabbing your bookbag and bolted through the entrace. As you ran as far away from school as possible you let out an exhausted sigh.
'That was close' you thought catching your breath before resuming walking home. Why was Trixie there? She probably wanted to hurt me again like last time. Though something in your head told you she wasn't. It has been a year since you seen her, surely she would've talked to me earlier than waiting a full year.
Opening the door you walk into your home. Technically it wasn't your home it was your parents, but they are out on a tour. They wanted you to come along but you refused not wanting to leave school for who knows how long.
You decided to do the 5 pounds of homework you were given. It was ridiculous getting that much homework and turning it all in the next day. Starting on the 20K essay about your favorite president , Franklin D. Roosevelt you made your way over to your computer.
As your computer started up you see that Trixie's email was still present on your computer. You facepalmed as you've forgotten to check your emails for a year.
'Must've been very busy typing than reading.' You thought opening the emails only to find that Trixie has sent you over 540 emails during the year. Finding this odd you opened up the first email with the date being the day where you got slapped.
From Trixie,
I'm so sorry that I slapped you earlier and I wanted to apologize deeply for it. I was having a rough day and I let out my anger on you. Please don't leave me on my own, I haven't had a friend in years so please respond.
Love,
Trixie
You were half mad and half sad. She didn't even apologize in person so she did it on the internet. Who does that?
But it also made you feel guilty that she didn't want me to leave her. So you decided to read an email that was 5 months after it.
From Trixie,
Why haven't you responded yet???? Are you ignoring me? Please just read the emails for once! I've been miserable for the past five months by not spending any of it with you. Can you please respond to me after I send this.
Sincerely,
Trixie
You felt really guilty after you read that last email even when she signed off say 'sincerely' then love. You decided to read one final email. It was from yesterday from what the computer says.
From Trixie,
1 Year!!!!!! It's been 1 year since you stopped talking to me and it's been the worst year of my life! Everyone in school has been picking on me and no one is coming to my shows anymore! Worst of all, we haven't been hanging out in a year. It breaks my heart that you haven't even responded for one year while I'm here sending my 540th email. This will be my last one if your even reading it.
Goodbye, Trixie
You walked over to the wall and when you were about to bang your head on the wall there was a knock coming from the door. Sighing you walked over to the door and opened it to find Trixie standing outside.
A tear came down your eye so you pulled Trixie into a tight hug. You both started to cry your hearts out while in each othere arms.
"I'm sorry I haven't noticed your email's until now." You whispered gently stroking her silver hair.
"I'm sorry I slapped you but Trixie came here for a reason." You released the hug and stared into her eyes as she stared right back.
"And why is that?"
"Today's Movie Night." She said with a smile. You've completely forgotten that Thursday nights were also Movie Nights last year. You smirked as you lifted Trixie off the ground and carried her inside. She yelped at the sudden contact but melted in your arms as you closed the door.
You sat down on the couch as you were still holding Trixie in your hands. You never noticed this before but Trixie was beautiful. Her silver hair matched with her azure skin, those violet eyes just looked so fascinating that you began to stare deeply into them.
Trixie was also staring into your eyes as you didn't notice that the two of you were slowly leaning into each other. Your face started to heat up as your face was inches away from Trixie's.
"Trixie can't take it anymore!" Trixie yelled as she pinned you to the couch and passionately pressed her lips into yours. Your eyes went wide as Trixie, your old best friend is now kissing you! But you noticed that it felt right so you wrapped your arms around Trixie and pulled her down to deepen the kiss.
Trixie started to moan into your mouth as your tongues started to make contact. The kiss lasted for 3 minutes before the two of you gasped for air and went straight back to kissing. This went on for 10 minutes as you and Trixie continued this routine until the Trixie rested her head on your lap
"That was the first and best kiss that Trixie ever had." Trixie said breaking the silence has she buried her head into your chest trying to get comfortable.
"How Long?" You asked out of curiosity.
"Since you became only friend, and Trix- I think your the only one I need." Those words touched your heart as she only wanted one friend, and that was you. You pulled her up as she was now resting on your shoulder.
"I think I'm in love with you."
"I feel the same way." Trixie replied before shooting her head up in the air.
"What about Movie Night?" You let out a chuckle as you pulled her back down before replying to her question.
"I think you being here is the best movie in my eyes." She nuzzled your neck before she let out a yawn.
"Mind if I sleep here again?"
"Not at all." You grabbed the balnket sitting on the foot stool from a year ago and wrapped both you and Trixie.
You started to think of what just happened. You and Trixie haven't talked in a full year, you read her desperate emails wanting to be your 'bestie' again, then you maked out with Trixie for 10 full minutes!
"Trixie."
"Hmm?"
"I'm sorry I haven't read your emails until now, I haven't checked them in a year since I had documents to type for school."
"It's fine....but it all worked out in the end right?"
"It sure did Trixie but why Five Hundred and forty five emails?"
"Because I never lost hope until yesterday." That made you feel more guilty since she literally never lost faith while you did a long time ago.
But that doesn't matter anymore. You learned from your past mistakes and fixed them. Everything turned out better than ever. Getting your best friend back and also a girlfriend along with it.
Your thoughts were interrupted by a faint snoring coming from your best friend. Guess all that kissing tukered her out. Regardless it was getting late and you had school tomorrow.
So you and Trixie fell asleep in each others arms.
