Author's Note
This was originally planned as a chapter of Equestria Girls Gone Wild, but in the planning stages it evolved into something I wasn't expecting. Although this is marked Complete, I am not opposed to the idea of expanding this into a longer romance story, because I enjoyed writing the interactions between Ditzy and Clyde more than I enjoyed writing the actual sex part. (Just a little.)

Big Man(hood) on Campus
Ditzy Doo lay on one of the cots in the nurse's office, her sandals on the floor next to the cot. Her right ankle was wrapped in a tight bandage and had an ice pack strapped to it. She wiggled her toes and hummed idly to herself as she worked on her homework on her tablet.
This kind of thing was a regular occurrence for the wall-eyed girl; it was one of the reasons she had the unfortunate nickname 'Derpy'. Not that she minded—she just wasn't the type of girl to let things bother her, whether they were accidents, injuries, being yelled at for messing up, or being called insulting things.
It did kinda suck having it happen at the end of the school day, though. Missing class because she derped up and twisted her ankle? No big deal. Stuck in the nurse's office when she should be home enjoying an after-school muffin fresh from Sugar Cube Corner? Not so much.
*Note to self: I really need a life outside of being muffins-and-derping-up-girl.*

Across the room, Nurse Redheart was doing whatever paperwork it was school nurses did. The clock on the wall loudly ticked away. Ditzy glanced at the time; it was a little past four. Various after-school activities would be happening across campus. The track team was practicing, the Rainbooms were probably rocking out in one of the music rooms, and...
The door opened, and a massive form staggered through, supported by Big Macintosh and Bulk Biceps. Ditzy's heart skipped a beat.
Many people were surprised when they learned Clyde was a high school senior. He certainly didn't look like one. Seven and a half feet tall, with a broad, solid frame, the man's face was twisted into an almost perpetual dour grimace. Much of his face was covered with a splotchy, pale white birthmark which contrasted badly with his brown skin. His shaggy black hair hung in his eyes and flowed halfway down his shoulders. He wore boot-cut jeans, heavy brown work boots, and a checkered Western shirt. His broad leather belt was buckled with an upside-down brass horseshoe. His emerald green eyes were cast down at the floor as he staggered into the room, but they flickered briefly to Ditzy and locked onto her golden gaze.
Nurse Redheart stood up. "Clyde! What happened?"
"It's mah dang knee," Clyde grunted. "Gave out while Ah was tryin' ta help move the bleachers, ended up smashin' a whole section. Just mah rotten luck."
Nurse Redheart frowned. "You know the doctor said to take it easy," she said in an exasperated tone.
"Ah know, Ah know," Clyde muttered.
Nurse Redheart sighed. "Boys, get him over to the cot. I've got the injections his doctor sent over."
"They're gonna need you in the gym," Big Mac said. "Them bleachers came down on a couple'a folks. Got some bad sprains, one guy might have a broken arm."
Nurse Redheart let out a loud curse.
"Just more misfortune," Clyde said miserably. "Ah hope they don't blame me. They probably will."
"Don't worry about that right now," Nurse Redheart said with a frown as she pulled the privacy curtain around the cot Big Mac and Bulk Biceps were struggling to wrangle Clyde onto. "Boys, I hate to ask this, but can you help him get his boots and pants off? I have to give him a couple of injections right in the knee."
"Eeyup," Big Mac replied gruffly. "C'mon, Clyde."
*Injections?* Ditzy's mind raced with worry. She watched as Nurse Redheart scurried over to her desk and went through the drawers, pulling out a shiny foil bag. She listened as heavy leather and denim hit the floor and the cot groaned under Clyde's mass.
"Thanks, boys," Nurse Redheart said as she disappeared behind the curtain. "Can you carry the emergency kit down to the gym for me? I'll be along as soon as I'm done here."
"Eeyup." Big Mac and Bulk Biceps emerged from the curtain; Big Mac picked up the large red bag that sat next to the door as they left.
"Sorry t'...cause such a fuss," Clyde grunted.
Nurse Redheart sighed. "It's not your fault," she said. "Don't worry about it. Just rest. This may sting a little." A long moment later, she said, "Okay, I want you to lie here and rest for a little while. I'll be back..." She sighed again. "When I get back." Emerging from the privacy curtain, she offered Ditzy a weak smile. "Think you're okay to head home? I might be a while."
Ditzy shook her head. "I'll stay and keep Clyde company," she said. "Being laid up in here all by yourself is no fun."
Nurse Redheart's smile became more genuine. "Alright," she said.
As soon as she left, Ditzy eased herself off her cot, moving over to the little rolling stool the nurse used. "Haven't seen you in a few weeks," she said as she rolled over to the sink, peeling off the ice pack on her ankle.
"Had knee surgery," Clyde grunted. "Been stuck at home doin' therapy for a couple'a weeks. Docs just gave me th' okay to come back to school." He sighed. "Just mah rotten luck Ah'd go an' mess up on mah first day back."
Wiping her leg down with paper towels, Ditzy rolled the stool behind the privacy curtain and shot Clyde a hurt look. "You could've called me, or at least texted," she said.
Clyde leaned up and gave her a level stare. "You ain't never gave me your number," he said.
Ditzy blinked. "Oh," she said. "Oops." With a sheepish smile, she reached out with a hand. "Gimme your phone," she said.
Clyde grunted and pointed at his pants, which were folded up by the cot. "Over there," he said.
Ditzy went through his pants pockets, found his phone, and put her number into it. She then took out her own phone and added his number. "So what happened to your knee?" she asked.
Clyde sighed. "Just more'a mah misfortune," he said soberly. "Me bein' big an' lunky as Ah am, mah knees git wore out."
Ditzy eyed his slightly swollen knee and winced. "Poor Clyde," she said. Then, more quietly, she added, "I missed you."
He gave her a wan smile. "Ah missed you too," he said. He nodded at her ankle. "What happened there?"
Ditzy giggled. "Tripped," she said. "It's not bad." She looked him up and down, then reached out and ran her fingers along his massive arm. "Do you...feel up to it?" she asked. "I mean, if your knee hurts too bad..."
Clyde snorted. "Don't reckon mah knee's gonna complain," he said. "'Sides, it's th' one bright spot in mah sorry existence, you an' me, here. We don't git to be alone together near often enough."
Ditzy frowned. "Well maybe if you'd go on an actual date with me sometime..."
Clyde shook his head. "It ain't a good idea, Ditz. People git hurt around me on account'a mah klutzin' an' me bein' a big ol' bad luck mess."
Ditzy snorted. "And I'm so safe to be around?" she retorted. "Remember the marching band incident?"
Clyde winced. "Sorry," he said. "But..." He sighed. "Ah'd like us to be a proper couple, Ah really would, but Ah'm so afraid Ah'd hurt you somethin' awful."
Ditzy looked away slightly. "Or I'd hurt you," she said quietly. "I mean, you're a lot more fragile than you look."
Clyde grunted. "Mah lot in life, Ah reckon."
Ditzy shook her head. "Well, if we're gonna do this, we'd better do it while we can." She offered Clyde a pained grimace. "I think you probably bought us about a half hour this time, don't you?"
Clyde rolled his eyes. "Ain't we a sight?"
Giggling, Ditzy rolled out from behind the curtain and over to the various drawers and cabinets along one side of the room. "Let's see," she said as she opened one drawer. "Maximus, Maximus...oh no," she moaned. "How can she possibly be out of Maximus?"
"Just mah luck," Clyde said bitterly.
"There can't possibly be that many guys with big dicks at this school!" Ditzy complained, throwing up her hands. "How about Plus, will Plus do?"
"Should," Clyde grunted. "Might be tight."
Ditzy selected a wrapped condom from the drawer and rolled back over to Clyde. Holding it by the corner of the wrapper between her lips, she stood up and stripped off her shirt, dropped it on top of Clyde's pants, then unclasped and removed her bra, which joined the pile of clothing. Clyde smiled up at her. "Reckon Ah did," he said.

When Nurse Redheart returned to her office, she found it empty of students. A distinctive smell hung in the air, haphazardly covered up by air freshener spray. The cot Clyde had been lying on lay broken and mangled, and rolls of gauze and tubes of antibiotic ointment were scattered across her work counter. A post-it note was stuck to the cabinet, which read: "Sorry about the cot. More misfortune for old Clyde."
She shook her head and sighed. "That's the third one they've broken this semester," she muttered. A sly smile quirked her lips. "I guess they were happy to see each other again..."
