My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic; The Ultimate Test
Narrator: They say that good and bad in us all. And that is true and that if we put our minds to it, we can do wonderful and terrible things. This is the story of how love and friendship will be put to the test.
[We cut to Canterlot during the night where the ponies were doing their usual thing. Meanwhile at the castle, Celestia was tending to her royal duties, then her younger sister Luna appeared]
Luna: The harvest moon is shining as brighter than ever, dear sister.
Celestia: Excellent work, Luna. You really have outdone yourself.
Luna: Thank you.
[Suddenly a couple guards come rushing in]
Pegasus Guard: Your Highnesses, we got a problem!
Celestia: What is it?
Unicorn Guard: There is has been an intruder spotted within the gardens.
Celestia: We'll investigate at once. Get every available guard and meet us there.
[The guards saluted the princess and went to go fulfill their orders]
Luna: Who do you think it could be, Celestia?
Celestia: I don't know but we better take caution.
[They head out to the garden with dozen of guards to see who or what was there. Then they soon spotted a tall mare with a dark gray coat, a long sharp horn, long insect like wings, a black mane with two lavender streaks going down the side, her tail was the same but with only one stripe going down the middle, her eyes were orange, and her cutie mark looking like three spirals going into a vortex]
Mysterious Mare: I've been expecting you.
Luna: Identify yourself!
Mysterious Mare: My name is Inanis, Queen Inanis. You must be Celestia's baby sister, Luna.
Celestia: How do you know so much about us?
Inanis: I think you're familiar with the butterfly alicorn, Princess Heiwana Merodi?
[Celestia's eyes widen at that name]
Celestia: What have you done to her?
Inanis: The same thing, I'm going to do to you! DIE!
[Inanis fires a dark magic blast but then the unicorns stepped up and put their magic together to create a powerful shield but Inanis magic proved to be too strong and blasted through their barrier and injured them]
Celestia: (gasps)
Luna: My word.
[The two princesses looked and saw that their guards were seriously injured and were bleeding a little]
Celestia: I don't know what your vendetta is against us, but I will not stand idly by and let you do as you please.
Luna: Same here.
Inanis: You are welcome to try and oppose me, but be warned; I am only getting started. (cackles)
[Inanis disappeared into a sinister mist and left the castle.
Luna: This is most troubling.
Celestia: Indeed. Luna, send a message to Shining Armor and Cadence. I'll inform Twilight and her friends.
Luna: At once.
[And so the two sisters go to message the Mane Six and The Royal Couple. Meanwhile in a nearby country in a castle made of a giant tree out on her balcony was Princess Heiwana Merodi, her coat was a bright pink color, she had a long lilac mane styled like a typical princess with a platinum crown in it, her tail was the same color as her mane and put in a bow style held by a platinum hair tie, she has huge butterfly wings that were practically transparent to where her cutie mark could be seen, it was the symbol for peace. Suddenly a pony walked up to her, he has a red coat and black hooves with two horizontal stripes on both legs, black mane with red accents with a goatee to match, on his head he a top hat that was a brighter shade of red with a black stripe going around the tip and came with goggles, his eyes were silver and he had on a black jacket, and his cutie mark was white quill over a microphone]
Heiwa: Thank you for coming, Toon Kritic.
TK: You called for me, You're Highness?
Heiwa: Yes. I fear that a great darkness has risen and is planning on unleashed untold destruction on both Equestria and Masutangu.
TK: Are you sure?
Heiwa: Yes.
TK: I'll go inform the others.
Heiwa: Please do.
[Toon Kritic runs to go get his friends while Heiwa looks on toward the night sky. Can anyone be able to stand up to this new evil and will our band of heroes be able to stop Inanis from bringing a reign of destruction across the two countries. Chapter 1: The Journey Begins
Narrator: Last time Celestia and Luna had met with the sinister pony, Inanis. The pony showed to be very dangerous and attacked them but their guards came to their protection and got hurt in process, and then Inanis left as quickly as she appeared. Celestia and her sister decide to send a message to Twilight, her friends, Cadance, and Shining Armor. Are they ready for what dangers await them? Let's find out.
[The Friendship had finally pulled into the Crystal Station and out of it came, Princess Twilight, Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Starlight]
Starlight: I wonder why Princess Celestia wanted us to come to the Crystal Empire, I mean I don't mind seeing Sunburst, but it wouldn't hurt if she wasn't so cryptic about it.
Twilight: Trust me, Starlight. Princess Celestia is just trying to be careful. And if she wanted us to come here, it must be important.
Applejack: I suppose you're right, sugarcube. But I just hope we can be able to handle what might get thrown our way.
Rainbow Dash: Quit worrying, Applejack. We've taken on many challenges and always come out stronger than ever.
Fluttershy: I just hope that everyone back home will be alright while we're gone.
Twilight: They'll be alright, Fluttershy. After all, Big Mac knows how to take charge, the Crusaders have offered to help out, and Moondancer is helping Spike watch over the castle and they have the residence of Ponyville to aid them, I have confidence they'll be just fine.
Rarity: Twilight's right. We have to have faith in our friends and family.
[Starlight noticed Flash Sentry was approaching them]
Starlight: Hey Twilight, one of the guards is coming.
[Twilight noticed Flash Sentry and blushed a little as he came to greet them]
Flash: Greetings, Princess Twilight. I'm glad to see that you and your friends have made it here safely.
Twilight: Thank you, Officer Sentry. We will like to see Princess Cadance and the Captain immediately.
Flash: Understood. Follow me please.
[Flash escorts Twilight and her friends to the room where the Crystal Heart was being kept and waiting there was Cadance, Shining Armor, Flurry Heart, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Sunburst, and Toon Kritic]
Cadance: Twilight!
Twilight: Cadance!
[The two walk up to each other and do their usual greeting]
Cadance and Twilight: Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake, clap your hooves and do a little shake! (giggles)
[Flash blushes at what he sees and smiles]
Toon Kritic: Well that was cute.
[Twilight and her friends looks towards Toon Kritic]
Twilight: So whose your other guest?
Shining Armor: His name is Toon Kritic. He hails from Masutangu.
Toon Kritic: That's right, I'm the Colt of Personality! But if you want, you can call me, TK.
[Toon Kritic bows before Twilight]
Twilight: Anyway. Why did you call us here Princess Celestia?
Celestia: Last night me and my sister were attacked by a strange pony known as Inanis, Sadly, I don't what her reason for her attack but she could pose a threat to both Equestria and Masutangu.
Luna: We called you all here to discuss a plan to deal with Inanis accordingly. And that is why Toon Kritic is here.
Twilight: So, Toon. What can you tell us about this Inanis?
Toon Kritic: Well, from what I heard from my princess, she is her older sister and once went by the name of Harmonia. Like Celestia and Luna the two use to rule the land of Masutangu together but then Harmonia became corrupt and turned from a beloved and caring pony to the cold and cruel mare that attacked yesterday.
Shining Armor: But what brought about such a change?
Toon Kritic: Heiwa wouldn't say, but from what I can recall she had to banish her sister from the lands, it was the hardest and most difficult choices she had to make.
Celestia: I know how that feels.
[Luna puts a hoof on her sister's shoulder for comfort]
Toon Kritic: Either way, now that Inanis has returned we need to do what we can to stop her before she unleashes untold destruction on both our lands, and that is why Princess Heiwa has asked for me to come here and ask for your help.
Twilight: We'll help out anyway we can.
Rainbow Dash: Yeah, we'll help you take her down!
Toon Kritic: Thanks. You don't know how relieved I am to here that.
Applejack: Don't worry, pardner. We'll help you sort this tyrant out faster than a Sonic Rainboom.
Toon Kritic: Glad to see you girls are beaming with confidence. Alright, let's go.
Twilight: Right, of course. (looks to Starlight) Take care, Starlight.
Starlight: You too, Twilight.
[Toon and the Mane Six prepare to leave but then Cadence walks up to Shining]
Cadence: (whispers) Hon, perhaps we should have Flash come along with Twilight and her friends.
Shining Armor: (whispers) What?! Are you serious?! Flash is still new to the Royal Guard, we can't have him thrown into a crisis when he still needs to gain more experience.
Cadence: (whispers) Well, perhaps this will be a good chance for him to grow. And besides, I think he wants to go and help them.
Shining Armor: (whispers) I don't know, Cadence...
Cadence: (whispers) Come on, hon...
[Shining looks at Flash who had a worried look on his face]
Shining Armor: (whispers) Alright, I'll let him go with Twily and her friends.
Cadence: (whispers) Thank you, dear.
Shining Amror: (coughs) Toon wait!
[Toon and the girls stopped in their tracks]
Toon Kritic: Something wrong, Captain?
Shining Armor: No. But I would request that you bring Officer Flash Sentry with you.
[Flash and Twilight look at his captain with shock]
Twilight: Shining Armor, are you sure?
Shining Armor: I'm sure, Twily. Personally, I would prefer if it was me that went, but I got to stay and make sure the guards here are on task and perform their duties.
Luna: We would wish to come as well, but we got our royal duties to handle and we need to keep an eye out in case Inanis decides to make another unexpected visit.
Toon Kritic: Fine with me, Flash here can come. But I must ask that he not come in uniform, can't afford to draw too much attention than necessary.
Shining Armor: Understood. He'll meet you at the station when he's ready.
Toon Kritic: Good, see you there Flash.
Flash: You got it.
[Flash heads to the chamber where the other Royal Guard are and he starts to remove his armor]
Crystal Guard #1: Hey, Newbie! What do you think you're doing?
Flash: I'm going on a mission but I have to do so while out of uniform.
Crystal Guard #2: What, is some kind of undercover mission?
Flash: Something like that.
Crystal Guard #3: Perhaps this will do you some good. Going outside the Empire, getting your hooves dirty. Can't stay a rookie forever, right?
[Flash nods and finishes removing his armor as Shining comes in]
Shining Armor: Return to your posts, soldiers! I need to have a word alone with Officer Sentry.
Crystal Guards: Yes sir!
[They salute their captain and they leave Flash and Shining alone]
Flash: Thank you for giving me this chance, Captain.
Shining Armor: Don't thank me. Thank my wife, she believes that if you go with Twilight it will help motivate you to become better.
Flash: She knows about my feelings for her, doesn't she?
Shining Armor: She is called the Princess of Love for a reason. And I know that you'll do what you can to help my sister.
Flash: Of course! Is it my sworn duty to help out the princesses anyway I can no matter how big and small the task is.
Shining Armor: And it's that determination is what going to help you become stronger. Now, I want you to promise me that you'll do everything in your power to protect my little sister and bring her back home safely.
Flash: Most definitely, Captain! You have my word that Twilight and her friends will be safe and secure while I'm around.
Shining Armor: That's all I needed to hear. Now go show them what being a Royal Guard is all about.
[Flash salutes his captain who salutes back, then the Pegasus rushes to the station as the Mane Six and Toon waits]
Toon: So let me hear if I got this correctly, you six unlocked a strange box and it gave you the power to return all the stolen magic that an evil centaur known as Tirek to all the ponies in the land?
Pinkie: Yes sireebob! They were like a more powerful version of the Elements of Harmony!
Toon: Wow. Sounds like you girls are quite the powerhouses when you're together.
Fluttershy: Well, we are a team, but we're more than that, we're friends.
Toon: I can see that. It must not be easy having to be the ones that everypony has to turn to in a crisis.
Twilight: Well, it does show that the princesses have faith that we can handle it.
Toon: (whistles) Well, that's a lot to take in. But it will help put my princess at ease to know that she has pros helping out.
[Flash arrived]
Flash: Sorry I took so long.
Toon: No need to apologize, you're here and it's all that matters. Now then, shall we get going?
[Everyone nods and was about to aboard the train]
Voice: Hey, what about me?!
[Out of nowhere Discord appeared]
Mane Six and Flash: DISCORD?!
Discord: The one and only!
Twilight: What are you doing here? I thought you had things to do!
Discord: I put them on hold, I've heard that there is a new threat and I thought I would offer a helping hand.
Rarity: Help us? Last time there was a crisis you backstabbed us and had our magic taken!
Discord: Look, I'll admit it was foolish of me to let Tirek convince me to return to my old ways but I learned my lesson and want to make up for that mistake.
Twilight: Sorry to rain on your parade, but you're not coming!
Discord: Aw come on! Can't you give me one more chance?
Fluttershy: Come on, Twilight. We should give Discord the opportunity to make amends for his mistake. After all, you gave Starlight another chance and she was messing with the timeline.
[Twilight looks at Discord who was giving her puppy dog eyes and was whimpering like a dog too]
Twilight: Alright, fine. You can come. But you got to keep a low profile and focus on the task at hand.
Discord: Oh thank you, Princess Twilight! I promise, you won't regret it! (Discord changes his look to appear as a normal unicorn) Howse this?
Twilight: Good enough. Let's go everypony. We got work to do.
Group: Right!
[And so Twilight and her friends aboard the train and it heads for Masutangu, but little did they know they were being watch by the tyrant herself]
Inanis: So, they're sending the Princess of Friendship and a bunch of little ponies to deal with me? How cute. Let's just see how tough they are after my demons are through with them. Minions!
[Suddenly a group of demonic ponies appeared before her]
Head Minion: You called, Your Grace?
Inanis: Yes, I want you to deal with Princess Twilight and her friends. Don't show them any mercy, understand?
Head Minion: Yes, Your Highness. We read you loud and clear. You heard the queen, maggots! Move out!
[And so the demon ponies take off into the sky to proceed with their goal]
Inanis: No one will stand in my way, no one.
[Inanis flies off to return to her domain. Will Twilight and her friends be able to handle Inanis' minions? Or will they fall before their might? Only time will tell the tale]
