AU: In Equestria's Third Age, a world of magic and goodness has lost its sense of wonder. However, when the ancient legend of Night Mare Moon makes itself known, Queen Celestia must place Twilight Sparkle (a brilliant but troubled Unicorn), Rainbow Dash (a headstrong but caring Pegasus), Applejack (a strong and devoted Earth Pony with a painful past), Rarity (a generous, high-society Unicorn who stands her ground), Fluttershy (a loving but timid Pegasus), Pinky Pie (a silly, optimistic, but doting Earth Pony [purposely spelled different to provide dissonance from her Generation 3 counterpart]), and Spike (a caring baby dragon who serves as a kid brother and/or son to Twilight) in their greatest challenge to date, with all of Equestria on the line. Burdened by their own troubles and insecurities, the 6 Ponies and their friends must become something more or risk losing everything they know to the forces of darkness.
