A young Freak hiding in the cave opened her beady eyes to the moonlight. It was already sunset, but it always seemed to be sunrise for her species. Besides, she always went out to go find somepony she had been searching for.
“I’m coming…” she said as she got off the cave’s wall and went out the cave’s entrance. “…mother”

Mother
Fluttershout began to twitch at that sound. It happened for the fifth time tonight! She kept hearing her child’s voice ringing in her head, but this one seemed different. This one sounded extremely close.
“Fluttershout, are you okay?” Brutalight asked to snap Fluttershout out of her trance.
“She’s near, I can hear her Brutalight!”
“Where?”
Fluttershout’s ears then perked up from a sound. “Did you hear that?”
“Hear what?”
This time, they both heard the same sound of somepony screaming “Freak”. Fluttershout wasn’t affected much because of her status as Queen of Ear Rape, but Brutalight was literally blown off her hooves.
“Are you okay?” Fluttershout asked as she helped Brutalight get up.
“I’m fine. How come you’re not blown off?” Brutalight asked as she got up.
“It was from a far distance. But, nonetheless, I now only one thing can cause a scream like that”
“What?”
“A Freak with Ear Rape power. And from that sound, it’s too young and high to be AssSpike’s. Plus, it’s quicker”
“I take it your kid is near and she has her mommy’s Ear Rape”
Fluttershout nodded. “Come on, she’s close”
The Pegasus and the Alicorn flew through the night sky. They eventually landed near where the source was. They peeked out from where they were hiding to see something they thought they’d never see again. Or rather, someone.
There, a few feet away from them, was what used to be Fluttershout’s apprentice Bunny. She looked different than her ordinary self. Her fur was now white and her striped became black. Her ears were no longer going to her back, they were upright. She had symbols on the stripes were her elements were. She now had a cutie mark: a yellow cross over a crescent moon. A small blue hat decorated with sapphires rested on her head. Her eyes were now like Fluttershout’s: one cerulean and one red. But what made the mares’ suspicions clear about her was what was on her red eye: a red birthmark. It was the same birthmark that was similar to Fluttershout’s.
“Is that…Bunny?” Fluttershout asked in disbelief.
Brutalight nodded with a gulp. “Used to be”
“I said; never say anything bad about my mother!” Bunny yelled at the whimpering pony before her. Her voice was no longer like her ordinary and sweet one; it had become a darker version.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t know that Fluttershout was your…” the mare cringed.
“Now, you must face the consequences of crossing with a Screamer” Bunny yelled before allowing one loud word escape her mouth. “FREAK!”
The word was emitted louder than AssSpike’s, but it was enough to kill the pony before her. The mare was now nothing more than a massacred mess of blood and organs. Bunny seemed to show little remorse, though she wiped a small tear at what she did.
Fluttershout and Brutalight had their ears covered so as to make the scream a little less damaging. Fluttershout still couldn’t believe what she found. Bunny was her daughter?
“How is this possible? Forget that, how is she even here?” Brutalight asked.
“The night my baby was born, I heard a splat when it came to the birth. I and Creepigie saw a spirit floating in the air before it went to a grave. I saw an orange paw cling to the grave before the spirit knocked it down”
“That means one thing”
Fluttershout nodded. “My baby was a stillborn that took Bunny and made her a Freak”
“Well, what are you waiting for?” Brutalight asked.
“Hmm?”
“Don’t you want to go and see her?”
“I don’t really know now. My biological daughter is in the body of my apprentice”
“Have you ever thought of Bunny as more than an apprentice?”
Fluttershout thought of that. “Well, I…” She paused. Fluttershout, back as Fluttershy, never referred to Bunny as a daughter before. But the more she thought about it, the more it fit in. She cared for her, protected her, calmed her. She was there through thick and thin. Yes, she was a bit overprotective at times, but that just made her fit the role even more.
“To be honest, yes” Fluttershout said atlast. “I tend to think of her as more than an apprentice or even a companion”
“And I always tend to think of you as more than a Mistress” a voice rang out.
Both mares turned around to see that Bunny was right behind them. Was she listening that whole time? Her eyes looked rather teary and she was looking at Fluttershout.
“Bunny?” Fluttershout stared in disbelief. Her yes had gone teary, her pupils were now bigger like that of a Normal, and her voice sounded like how it did before.
“It’s been a long time, Fluttershy” Bunny said, her pupils normal and her voice sweet again.
“Oh, Bunny, what’s become of you? You’re a Freak now”
“I only did it because I wanted to see you again”
“You…did all this just because of a contract?”
“I couldn’t help it! I missed you guys so much, it hurts that I thought you were gone that I just had to do it”
“But, how did?”
“I was so lonely back at Ponyville, and the animals were being watched by Discord. One night, I decide to follow your scent and it led me to a mirror in Canterlot Castle. I wanted to go away, but the portal just sucked me in. When I woke up, I was in a graveyard. I was about to leave, but I heard something. I hid behind a tombstone and saw you with a stallion. I didn’t know it was you at first, but I smelled it and felt it. You looked like you were giving birth. And the next thing I know, a stillborn came out and its spirit went directly in me. I’m still a Servant, just an Alien-Freak hybrid. When I woke up, I was in a crib. I found out that I was now in the form of a filly, a Pegasus. The stallion loomed over me, and I heard a child’s voice. She told me to get out and escape, so I did. I only knew one thing that she kept telling me: find mother. And that mother was you”
“You were looking for me?”
Bunny nodded. “With or without the spirit, I was looking for you”
Fluttershout couldn’t take it anymore; she burst into tears. “Bunny, I’m so sorry! I…left to look for Rarity…I got possessed…and it made me forget all about my old life! I forgot Equestria! I forgot my Element of Kindness! And I forgot you! I forgot you, my dearest friend! I cannot say it enough…I’m sorry!”
Bunny went up to Fluttershout and nuzzled her. “I forgave you when I found out, Flutters”
Fluttershout sniffled as she composed herself. Brutalight felt like she was about to cry. When Fluttershout finally calmed down, Bunny shot her a warm smile. She missed that smile.
“So, the spirit inside you is my daughter” Fluttershout said.
Bunny nodded.
“Did you change your name when you got Turned Over?”
Bunny nodded. “My host’s name was Angechius, so I’m Bunochius”
“Bunochius, I like that name” Fluttershout then looked down at the alien-Freak.
“Does that mean your name’s Fluttershout forever now?”
The Pegasus nodded. “Bunochius, remember when I said I thought of you more than an apprentice?”
“Yes?”
“Well, I…”
“Yes?”
“I love you, Bunochius”
“I love you too…” Bunochius paused for a moment as she hugged Fluttershout. “…mom”
Fluttershout held her daughter close, shedding a happy tear. I have my daughter.
Bunochius slept peacefully as Fluttershout flew with her on her back. Every now and then, she would mutter “Mother” in her sleep as she nuzzled the Pegasus. Fluttershout giggled when that happened.
“She really thinks of you as her mother now, does she?” Brutalight asked as she flew with the Pegasus.
Fluttershout nodded. “And thank you, Brutalight, for helping me”
“It was nothing” Brutalight said.
Fluttershout then looked down for a minute; Brutalight noticed she was staring at her scar.
“Does it still hurt?” she asked.
Fluttershout perked up at that. Brutalight was nice at times, but she seemed to be kindest when it was around her. “You’re being so nice to me, why?”
Brutalight tried to hide her blush at that question. She was about to speak when she saw that Fluttershout was staring into a mirror. She wanted to say something, but Fluttershout was just staring with an upset look. She tried to make sense why when Fluttershout moved a hoof to her scar. The reflection then showed she looked at the still sleeping Bunochius. It then dawned on her that something was still missing.
“What’s wrong?”
Fluttershout sighed. “I got my daughter back, but I don’t know how come I feel something else. I know that since I got her, it means I could now move on from…” she bit her lip before tears began to swell in her eyes.
Brutalight put a comforting hoof over Fluttershout. “Shouty, you’re crying”
“I’m not!” the mare tried to speak through the sobs. “I just got a little soft from a kid on my back and the name of my…my…”
Brutalight didn’t wait for her friend to finish as she pulled her in for a comforting hug. The Alicorn levitated Bunochius in the air with magic to avoid dropping her. Fluttershout sniffled for a minute until she finally calmed down. She pulled away from the hug and looked up to Brutalight.
“Thank you”
“Don’t mention it”
“Where’s Bunochius?”
Brutalight looked to see that Bunochius was no longer in the position she left her. The sleeping child somehow found a way on Brutalight’s left foreleg. How did she get there in ten seconds? She was about to try to pry her off when the kid nuzzled her hoof. Brutalight found it rather adorable, then looked to Fluttershout as if to ask for permission. The Pegasus nodded. Brutalight gently got Bunochius off her hoof with magic, careful not to wake her. She then held the sleeping child in her arms in a cradled position. Bunochius just nuzzled Brutalight in her sleep.
“She’s even got her mommy’s eyes, and birthmark” Brutalight commented.
Fluttershout giggled at that. “I just hope I can be a good mother”
“I think you will. But, I think all you need is therapy for broken hearts” Fluttershout flinched at that. “I don’t mean sending you to Rarifruit, she only made you worse. I think it will be best if it was somepony else who knew everything that happened”
“You mean you?”
Brutalight nodded. “I’ll go and undergo training starting tomorrow, disguised as a Normal”
“You’ll do that for me?”
“On one condition”
“Anything, you name it”
“Teach your daughter to control her host so we can take her out for a spin and don’t let your motherly duties disturb your Insanity works. It’s been a long time since I last heard you attack”
“Will do”
"And, let's work on getting her to undo the Curse she put on those foals"
"I'll tell her"

Fluttershout finally got back to her room after she and Brutalight parted ways. When she finally got to her room, Bunochius opened an eye.
“Mommy” she mumbled.
“Hello, my child. Did you enjoy your little nap?”
Bunochius nodded. “Is it almost dawn?”
“Indeed, it’s time for all Freaks to sleep”
“Can I sleep with you?”
“Okay”
Fluttershout then went to bed, Bunochius still in her hooves. The young hybrid just nuzzled her new mother lovingly.
“I love you, mother”
“Mother loves you too, my heir”
