Many moons ago, terrible creatures roamed free across Equestria. They terrorized, harmed, and even killed many of our subjects. That is why my sister created this organization; to stop these… monsters, before anymore of our little ponies could be harmed. Each member had special skills that made them perfect for such a task; and they all performed admirably.
After a time, the creatures disappeared and the land was peaceful. The doors to this organization were closed, and all members sworn to secrecy.
But, after all this time, they are stirring again. Ponies are disappearing, or being tormented by unspeakable horrors. As such, I have taken it upon myself to reopen the organization; to fight back against these terrors and finally put an end to them.

His life used to be ordinary; work, sleep, play some games to keep himself sane, and then repeat. But overnight, Bravely Default's life changed from one of simplicity to one of weekly terror. After an incident with a creature from what was presumed to be urban myth, he has found himself in the company of the most well trained monster hunter in the entire world and now tasked to hunt down other creatures, horrors, and phenomena that are haunting Equestria. With a prophecy hanging over his head to boot, Default has to do the one thing he's never been to good at: being brave.
