There is actually another separate dimension in the universe. It is a dimension called Dark Equestria. Ruled by only the Dark Lord and hundreds of his minions, he finally finds a way to send ponies from Equestria into this universe. However, these ponies turn out to be her closest friends. Twilight now has to go on a journey throughout Dark Equestria to uncorrupt and save them.
