I'm coming!" She quickly switched from flying up higher into a diving position to chase after her friend. The ponies who were watching the Young Fliers Competition (four of them being her friends) were all just staring on in shock. After all, it's not every day that a unicorn with butterfly wings has her wings melt, falls out of the sky, and knocks out the three Wonderbolts trying to save her. Rainbow squinted her eyes, the wings stinging them harshly. But that didn't matter at the moment, what mattered was saving four ponies, one being her friend. She put her hooves closely together, noticing the small bit of whiteness that was forming in front of them. If she did a Sonic Rainboom, she could catch them. Faster! she thought urgently, Faster! If Rainbow had been looking more closely, she would have seen that there were sparks of blue and pink around her and were merging into the whiteness around her. Rainbow finally had to close her eyes from the wind, when she suddenly had a burst of speed, and could open her eyes again. "A SONIC RAINBOOM!" she heard Fluttershy scream from above, "SHE DID IT! WOO!!!" Rainbow gave a grin as she flew down, grabbing Rarity and the three Wonderbolts before they hit the ground. She made an instant ninety degree turn, before curving back upwards to the cloud arena. She continued to smile as she flew closer, but her smile quickly melted away. No, no, no! thought Rainbow, seeing the blue and pink sparks dancing around her, Not again, this is like when I was a filly! Rainbow flew back into the arena, managing to place down the Wonderbolts and Rarity safely, before taking off skyward again. She began doing several aileron rolls, determined to slow herself down. This is not happening again! "Something's wrong!" said Twilight nervously. "What do ya mean?" asked Applejack, "Rainbow is flyin' around, havin' the time of her life!" "She isn't," said Twilight, standing up, "Look at her flight pattern, she's trying to slow down. And I think there's some sort of pink and blue magic starting to surround her!" "But who could be doing that magic up here?" asked Pinkie. "Nopony would, or even could. It must be the magic that is inside of her: the unicorn and alicorn magic!" "But what's going to happen?" asked Fluttershy. "I don't know, but I think that Rainbow Dash does." Twilight hopped down onto the arena, and ran towards Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, who had come to watch, "Come on, girls! We need to tell the Princesses that Rainbow needs help!" Luna looked at her sister, who was watching Rainbow Dash with interest. With every trick that Rainbow did, she would leave a rainbow streak behind her. Ponies all around were cheering, but Luna couldn't help but feel worried. "Sister," she said, "Do you not notice something odd about Rainbow Dash?" "No," said Celestia, "She's just doing some trick, Luna!" "But, shouldn't she be slowing down?" "Maybe, but she is doing a Sonic Rainboom." "And I think that there's some magic that's beginning to surround her!" "Luna, I think the light is playing tricks on your eyes-" "Princess Celstia! Princess Luna!" cried Twilight as she ran over to them, "Rainbow Dash needs help!" "Told you so..." said Luna under her breath. Rainbow found herself flying down, straight down the path she had gone to save Rarity. The pink and blue sparks had been changing into a coating of magic that was increasing her speed every second. I wonder why nothing has happened yet, thought Rainbow, trying to stay calm, As a filly, it was almost instantaneous. Maybe it's because I'm resisting. Rainbow gulped as the ground came increasingly near, and the magic had completely covered her. She closed her eyes, just when she saw another spark appear in front of her. She opened her eyes to see a familiar dark blue spark that was formulating into a bubble around her. However, Rainbow was now flying around in the bubble in a constant loop. She saw the shade of the bubble change slightly, and also saw a glimpse of Twilight and Luna coming towards her. "Rainbow!" cried Twilight, who was on Luna's back, her horn sparking, "Are you okay?" "I think I'm fine!" said Rainbow. "Can you slow down at all?" asked Luna. "No, I-" Rainbow stopped midsentence when she saw a green spark of magic appear in front of her, "Twilight, what magic do I have in me again?" "Uh, pegasus, alicorn, unicorn, and dragon. Why are you asking this right now?" Rainbow saw a red spark appear before she replied, "Because I think my dragon magic just came into play and awoke some of my pegasus magic." "I'm afraid I don't understand what you are talking about." said Luna. "Wait, you mean that-?" said Twilight, with Rainbow cutting her off. "I'm about to go faster." Rainbow saw everything around her become a blur. She heard Twilight and Luna talking quickly, but couldn't make out what they were saying. She heard a loud BANG, as everything around her became whiteness. I was worried when the unicorn and alicorn magic came in play, thought Rainbow, But I'm scared now that my dragon and extra pegasus magic have come in, too! Princess Twilight Sparkle smiled as she walked into the throne room where her friends were. Pinkie had decided to invite everyone over to Sugarcube Corner for breakfast, and Twilight had suggested going to the Castle of Friendship instead, which Pinkie had instantly agreed to. "Good morning, everypony!" said Twilight, seeing her six main friends, Spike, and personal student Starlight. "Meh, I'd rather be asleep." said Rainbow, yawning. "Of course, you would rather be asleep!" said Applejack, "Ah, however, get up with the sun!" "It's just lovely to have get-togethers every so often, isn't it?" said Rarity. "They are really nice..." said Fluttershy. "And I get to bring breakfast cupcakes!" said Pinkie, pulling out several trays of cupcakes. "Breakfast cupcakes?" asked Spike, "That sound tasty!" "They sure are! I made specific ones for each pony! I even put labels under them!" Each pony (and dragon) each reached out and grabbed a breakfast cupcake with their name written under it. Everypony except for Starlight, that was. "Starlight?" asked Twilight, "Is something wrong?" "Maybe..." said Starlight, staring above the center of the table, "Do you see that?" "See what?" "That spark. It's red." Starlight pointed her hoof at a red spark hanging in the air. Everyone stared at it as it moved in a small circle. "That's strange," said Twilight, flying into the air next to it, "I think it's some sort of magic." Twilight reached out her hoof to touch the spark when three more (green, pink, and blue) appeared and started circling around it. "Where are these sparks coming from?" asked Twilight, cautiously moving away from them. "I think they're forming a shape." said Starlight "Wait," said Rainbow as the sparks began changing into a specific shape, "Is that my-?" There was a long BANG as a pony suddenly came out from the shape. The pony crashed into Starlight, sending them flying towards the wall, and smashing through it. Everyone stared in silence for a moment before quickly running into the hall. "Starlight, are you okay?" asked Twilight. Starlight didn't answer, she was too busy staring at the pony who had crashed into her. "Ouch..." muttered the pony, "That really, really hurt..." The pony looked up to see Twilight and all of her friends staring at her. She froze in place for a moment before getting to her hooves and staring back. "...Could you tell us your name?" asked Twilight breaking the silence. "My name?" asked the pony nervously, "I'm pretty sure you know what it is already, but...
