Wolfenstein: Blazkowicz the Lost

The Killing Never Stops/Observations of a Captain

Here I am. William B. J. Blazkowicz, ready to die. I honestly thought that my death wouldn't involve bleeding to death. Or being poisoned. And to add to that, I thought the metal in my head would've moved around enough to drop me. I guess God must've thought that I'm still useful. Now I'm seeing that place again. Sounds of children playing. Smells of meat cookin' on a grill. The sight of a blue sky...

I hear some Nazi foot soldiers walk in, but they don't have guns. They're on fire, doing what they should be doing. Dying. Paying for their sins. That fight with Deathshead must've got some people nearby. The soldiers are screaming from the pain of their burns. There's a certain kind of satisfaction coming over my dying body. Like the screams are music, being played by some fancy orchestra. I see a flash followed by another. Nukes must've gone off. Guess this is it. At least I go out with a bang...

Wait. Some of the foot soldiers aren't on fire, and their armed. I've gotta get them! I struggle to get on my feet as I grab a nearby assault rifle. An odd bubble of blue energy sweeps around us, giving us all a certain kind uncertainty. The landscape starts changing into someplace that's freezing cold. I open fire with the hope that I kill every last one of those Nazi scum. I get most of them, but some escape my line of fire. The whole world seems to go blue. Very brightly blue. Now the world's going white. The Nazi soldiers and I block our eyes from the brightness. I don't think that this second flash is a nuke as the landscape begins to change more rapidly as the landscape becomes more uneven and rocky.  It gets real cold as snow seems to cover us. The flash isn't as bright anymore, and I see what looks like a training camp of some kind made of ice. I've got to kill those Nazis.

I set the rifle to burst and aim for the heads of the German soldiers, blowing off most of their heads and leaving holes in the others' chests. My rifle runs dry, so I toss it and pull out two knives. There's still a few Nazis breathing. I gotta make sure that none of them are. I fall to my knee as the poison from earlier washes over my senses again. One of the soldiers grabs my shoulder and points a pistol at my head. He speaks something in German before getting knocked out by what looks like a small white stallion with... A blue mane? Where the hell am I? Wherever I am, it doesn't matter as I watch the last Nazis get knocked out by other small white stallions. The poison washes over me again, making lose my grip on the world.

"Kill them" I say as my grasp on consciousness begins to slip, "They're.. Gonna..." And like that, the world goes black...

Hi! My name's Nickelmane, Second-In-Command of Shining Armor... Okay, used to be. For a while I was Second-In-Command to that Celestiadamned edge-lord Captain Dark Hoof. But Shining placed a request for me to put together the new Crystal Guard. Now I'm Captain of Princess Cadence's and Prince Shining's own elite personal protection. Shining and I run the guard together, and we make sure that our stallions are a hell of a lot better than the pussies at the Royal Guard.

That's not the most important thing about what I'm about say. So, have you ever heard of the kind of apes known as humans? The things Twilight discovered and made a book about? Either that book's bullshit, or there's another breed of humans with peach skin, blue eyes, and blond manes. I say this because we've found about sixteen of them, and they're all in black uniforms with grey metal plating on the tops of their torsos. The only odd one from these humans is the biggest of all of them. He's six feet three inches tall, two-hundred-forty-four pounds, and has muscles that put Shining to shame.

And there's only five humans left. The uniformed ones appear to have been slaughtered by something, as where we found them was covered in blood. And we found poison in the big one's blood, so we had a unicorn clean him out quickly.

We found them early this morning when Shining was training new recruits at his famous "Royal Pain" exercise complex. It's an ice recreation of our training facility on a mesa that's at the right altitude to be so cold that you can see the Wendigos trying to find a good limb to chew off. He constructed it himself, with help from Cadence, alongside the creation of the training facility within the Crystal Empire's weather shield thing. The place is fucking brutal. Anyway, Shining told me to spend the night at the RP complex while he would  march the recruits there. As he marched the recruits, a blue ball started to form in front of them. The ball took three hours to form and leave those humans there, and it scared the crap out of the recruits. Shining had to call for me over the winds so I could help him bring back the big guy, which I guess Shining didn't appreciate doing since he thinks that human in particular tried to kill him and wanted the fifteen black uniformed guys dead. If I'm honest, I don't like the presence those black uniforms leave. It's like I feel that they have a dark history behind them... Anyway. Right now, they're all in a room together in our main complex, save the big one. He's restrained in an empty room in The Crystal Tower that's locked . Princess Twilight is on her way over to check them since she's the closest thing to a human expert that we have. She's also bringing her student Starlight Glimmer over...  I hope that something actually exciting happens soon. I'm board out of my gourd....

Oh! The humans brought these metal objects with them. They seem to be fancy nail guns that use nails that only leave holes for some reason. We put them in a box in the same room as the black uniforms in the hopes that what the hell they are if they wake up. I have one in my office hanging on my because it looks really cool. I just hope my Second-In-Command doesn't hide it somewhere. He likes to take stuff out of my office and hide it because he's an asshole. He's also the top of his class and has experience dealing with Changelings. He's one of the best guardsmen I've ever seen. But he's still a total asshole....
