Twilight Doesn’t Sparkle

You swore it was too quiet in the forest today.
You scent the air, but it only smelled of damp earth. Your ears swivel about, but you could not hear even the idlest peep of birdsong. With a sigh, you trot forward into the clearing, quietly lamenting your job as a forest guard.
You take to the air, slowly circling about. This forest was far from the Everfree and was much less dangerous, but every now and then a ferocious predator could be found lurking far from the border. Thankfully, the Princess’ magic allowed guards to easily repel such threats.
You lazily hope that something more exciting would happen today. The protection of two demigod alicorns often meant that few threats would actually be dangerous. Even then, the Elements of Harmony have been quick to act in almost every situation. It made guard duty a very boring job... Not that you wanted it to get too exciting! But..
You let out a sigh as you continue your routine scouting. Probably nothing will happen today... Just like every other da- wait, what was that?
You make out a dark figure staggering in the shadows. It moves quickly, but was hindered by a limp. It stumbles into a dark cave, shaded by a thick canopy of trees.
That... was unusual. It could be a creature that was hurt, or it could be a predator. Both cases needed to be dealt with quickly. You let yourself smile slightly as you spiral downward to land, perhaps today won’t be so boring after all.
So... hungry...

Twilight Sparkle could not help but let out a slight whimper, small burns covered her entire body, and he leg was especially charred, making it painful to walk on. Tears fell from her eyes as she slumped against the cave wall, covered in shadow.

You land as quietly as you can, but still let out a gust of air as you quickly back winged to stay upright. You curse your luck, if there was a predator inside, it now knew you were here. You quickly step behind a large tree and peer carefully into the cave, listening closely.

Twilight Sparkle jumps and edges away from the entrance.
“Please... stay away!” she croaks out.
“Are you hurt? Don’t worry, I’m here to help you.”
Twilight makes out a medium built pegasus moving out from behind a tree.
“Don’t worry, I will not hurt you,” he says, soothingly, approaching the cave.

He calmly walks towards Twilight, who shuffles backward in panic until she hits the back of the cave. Twilight whimpers in fear. It wouldn’t be long before the pegasus discovered what had happened to her, and when he did... She shuddered, and curled herself into a ball, covering herself with her wings.
It was dark inside, but your vision slowly adjusted as you walked deeper into the cave. It wasn’t too large, but it was big enough to house a middle aged dragon. It did a good job of creating shadow from the sunlight. You glance backward, it was a good ten meters or so from the mouth of the cave, and you were probably only half-way through. You squint as you try to make out the trembling shape in the back of the cave.
Were those... wings?
And... that foreleg is seriously burned!
You canter forward quickly, but skid to a halt at what you see.

Who was cowering in fear?
You move closer, curiosity getting the better of you. Most vampire ponies would strike the instant they found prey. The fact that you have not been attacked and sucked dry was very strange...
“Hey,” you venture, uncertain. “Hey, are you alright..?”

“You need... to go!” she says, pushing you with her burnt leg, causing her to wince.
“No,” you say firmly, opening up your first aid kit. “You are a pony in need, and you are far from dangerous as far as I can tell. I will remain here and give you aid until I can take you to the unicorn hospital in Canterlot.” You gently grab her burnt foreleg. “As it is my duty, I will leave no pony behind.”
You work on her burns, but the salve does nothing. Despite this, you tirelessly bandage her as she watches you with slitted, ruby eyes, leaning against the wall.
“T-that... won’t work...” she says quietly, whimpering quietly in pain. “I... I’m not a pony now.”
“Hush, of course you are a pony,” you say, looking at her in the eyes. “You have yet to attack me, and you are just as rational as any one of us. We will get you sorted, I promise.”
Her stomach grumbles quietly as she whimpers in pain.
“N-no...” she says, quietly. “To.. heal.. I need... I.. need.”
She looks at you with tears in her eyes.
“Yes..?” you say, quietly encouraging her.
“I.. Ineedyourblood,” she says, her voice barely a whisper.
She winces, almost as if she was expecting a blow, but she looks up only to encounter your thoughtful expression.
“Will it make you travelworthy?” you ask, trying really hard not to think about the foolishness you are getting yourself into.
“Y...yes? But.. only at night.. because.. well..” she says, flustered.
“Because you sure don’t sparkle in the sunlight,” you say with a grin.
You take a deep breath to steady your hammering heart, nerves almost getting the better of you.
“O-ok..” you say, voice starting to tremble. “L..let’s do this then... How do you want me?”
She looks at you uncertain, managing to look worried despite her exhausted and hungry expression. “Are you... sure?”
“N-no...., but, I’m pretty sure that getting you to the hospital quickly is our best shot...” you say, gritting your teeth to quell your nerves as you edged towards her. “J-just... Make it quick?” You shoot her a nervous smile.
This time, it was her turn to look thoughtful, and she gives you a small smile.
“You know... I could make this easier for you...” she says, slyly. “But you have to give me your consent.”
“Alright. As long as I don’t end up... well... dead...”
“Just tell me to stop if you want me to, alright?”
You only give her a quick nod as she creeps towards you. She gently pushes you backward until you were lying on the floor, wings outstretched, and she slowly climbs over your body, her lips grazing your neck.
You clench your teeth and screw your eyes shut, expecting a lancing pain. Instead, you feel her sensually licking your neck, tracing it up to your jaw. “Are yo-*cough* have they cured you?” you ask, weakly.
She lets out a small laugh. “Yeah... kind of,” she says, looking to the side. “Sadly, I’ll keep some of the... *ahem* side effects. I can stay in the sun now, and I’m not immortal... but I have wings, and.. well... I can digest blood.”
She taps her teeth.
