Chapter 12- The War Rises!

Rainbow Dash's P.O.V

I just stood there watching them. I was about to scream, but I had to calm down. I went to the sink and watched my hands and took a slice of the pie. I sat next to Pinkie and Applejack.

“Hey, RD! So, how ya holding?”

“Hmmm, lemme see! If you see your best friend with a girl who thinks she's awesome, how would you feel?!”

“I'm guessing you feel like a party pooper!” Pinkie replied eating a box of popcorn.

“What's with the popcorn?” Twilight asked as she sat next to Pinkie.

“Oh, I'm just waiting for Dashie to beat that son of a bi-

“Okay!! Thank you Pinkie!” Applejack said as she covered her mouth.

“I'm going to talk to Soarin.” I replied as I jumped from my seat and walked towards Soarin.

“Soarin?”

“Hey Dashie, what's up?”

“Nothing much. Just wanted to apologize for my ways. I shouldn't have pushed you away.”

I looked in his eyes and I could see they were emerald. But, after a while they changed. They were still emerald, but his eyes looked like it had pain and suffering in them.

“Why are you apologizing? Why don't you cry like you always do when I'm not around!” He shouted at me and pushed me to the ground. All of my friends gasped and Amethyst giggled.

“Hey! Who do you think you are pushing Dashie like that?!” Pinkie Pie shouted as she came to my defense.

“Hey! Pinkie don't yell at him. He's going through a lot. And plus, Rainbow Dash deserved it. Right Soarin?”

“Mhm!”

I was on the floor in pain and was breathing heavily on the floor. He pushed me hard in my chest area. Applejack and Twilight helped me. I brushed off myself and looked at Soarin with tears in my eyes.

“Yeah, cry you little baby! That's all you ever do!!” He said as he and Amethyst walked out the room. I looked at the door and wondered what just happened?

“Um, what just happened?” Fluttershy asked.

“I don't know, but Soarin's acting different.” Twilight replied.

"You don't think it has something to do with Amethyst, do you. She was laughing when you fell.” Sunset added.

“Yeah, I know.” I sat in a chair and was thinking about what happened. Why was Soarin acting this way? Why did Amethyst laugh?

“Hey! Is the pie still here? Woah, what happened in here?” Fleetfoot asked.

“Well, Soarin pushed Rainbow Dash to the floor and-”

“He what???!!”

“Yeah, I think it has something to do with Amethyst.” I said while holding my chest. My chest was hurting badly.

“Thanks for the pie. I'm going to go back to the house and fix things.”

“What do you mean, Fleet?” Rarity asked.

“Oh, hehe, nothing! I'm fine! I got this!” She replied as she left.

“The last time someone said that, the person didn't do so well.” Applejack said drinking water. “And we all know who that is!”

“Gloriosa!” We all said in unison.

“But, that was in the past. So, now what do we do?” Pinkie replied as she sat on the table. “It's been boring without Equestrian magic!”

“Yeah, well, I'm going to my tent and relax.” Sunset replied as she was walking back to the the tent. I ran after her and we both went to our tent.

“Can you believe Soarin pushed you?” Sunset gasped.

“Yeah, it's not like him.”

“Yeah, well, He s occupied with Amethyst.”

“Ugh, don't remind me.”

“Oooh, someone's jealous.”

“Am not! Anyway, I'm just protecting him. I know that's not him.”

“How?”

“His eyes were different.”

“You like looking at his eyes, huh?”

“Shush! Anyway, but when I looked at them, they were different. Like he had pain and suffering in them. You don't think it has something to do with Amethyst, do you?”

“I don't know. I don't trust her but it's probably just of the things he’s going through.”

“Yeah, but she always wears a pink and red bracelet. Do you think it controls it?”

“Nah! Anyway, what do you want to do? We don't have a lot of time left here.”

“I'll stay here and cry because my “friend” is busy.”

“Oh ok. Well, I'll be back!”

Sunset left the tent and I grabbed my necklace and opened it. It was a picture of me and Soarin in the tree house. I smiled at it. I closed the locket and stared at the ceiling of the tent. I thought about how Soarin pushed me.

“That's not him.” I said as I looked on my phone and see 23 new messages from Pinkie Pie. I laughed. I texted her back. Next thing I knew, me and Pinkie were having a great conversation.

Soarin's P.O.V

Me and Amethyst were in the tree house and were laughing away. I don't know why I pushed Rainbow Dash but, it was for a cause, I guess. I felt so much better with Amethyst than Rainbow Dash. Ugh, what am I saying? Do I like Rainbow Dash or Amethyst?

“What are you thinking about, Soar?”

“Dunno. I'm worried about Rainbow Dash. After all, I did push her.”

“Well, she deserved it!”

“Excuse me?! That's my friend!”

“Are you thinking about her and not me?!”

“I guess I am! Why?”

She then her bracelet turned red and then I felt different. I felt like I had pain and suffering.

“Hmm, you better not talk to me like that again. I'm the only girl who you suppose to like, got that?!!”

“Yes Amethyst.”

“Good! Now, let's talk about me. What do you think about me?”

I was going to say she's a good friend but a little rude to Rainbow Dash, but her bracelet turned red again and it felt like she was using her power to make me say things.

"Um, you are a nice pretty girl and you are amazing.”

“Awww, thanks. So, Soarin. How about we put that to the test?” She said as she took off the power from me. My eyes were normal.

“What do you mean?” I replied rubbing my forehead. Whatever spell she casted on me, it's affecting my head. I wanted to leave. Her spell made me push my best friend!

“I need to go and find Rainbow Dash!”

“Oh no you're not!” She shouted as she used her magic on me and she brought me close to her.

“You're going to like me! You're going to like me more than anything!” She said with a devious smile and she pushed me close to her making our lips touch each other!

I wanted to escape cause I now realize what a monster she is! But, the magic controlled my eyes to change and then she made me deepen the kiss. We were kissing each other. In my mind, I thought about if Rainbow Dash found out. I really loved her! Amethyst’s bracelet was controlling me and she was using her bracelet the whole time she came here. But, she kept kissing me on the lips for a while. I hope no one finds us.

Somewhere near the tree house…….

“Oh my.” Fluttershy softly said as she watched Soarin and Amethyst together, kissing each other.

“Dash, won't be happy about this.”
