Equestria, the land of pastel colored ponies, protected by the powers of harmony and ruled by two immortal Princesses. The land is bright and prosperous and the inhabitants friendly and happy. In terms of a fairy tale, it is as close as you can get. But even the brightest of lights casts a shadow and when a carelessly ambitious explorer uncovers Equestria's, the ponies will discover that all fairy tales eventually end and that reality can be harsher than one can imagine.
