Mass Effect: Technology is Magic

Humanity discovered it was not alone in the universe. Two astronauts from NASA has landed on the moon and made an amazing discovery that changed the course of history, when an alien equine named Princess Luna approaches them. Years after this first contact, Humanity is united under the New Lunar Republic, a diarchy government formed by Princess Luna. In 2025, the Prothean Archives are unearthed on Mars and revealed the imminent threat of the Reapers, triggering a massive militarization. Following peaceful two first contact scenarios with two alien races, the New Lunar Republic discovers a cartoonish planet that is remarkably identical to Earth. Thus, triggering a wave of events leading up to the deadliest first contact situation with an imperialistic, hostile alien species in history, known as the Turians.
