Standing just outside the restaurant, Rarity was clothed in a red dress for the occasion, sleek and simple, except for a few gems. The waiter brought out two trays, each holding the requested food. Blueblood's tray had extra on it, a full salad surrounding the steaming bowl of thick soup.

As Rarity's meal was set in front of her, she was astonished by the quantity of the dish.
"Well, that's certainly a lot. It's not at all the size of that which I've seen. This is very new."
"Due to higher metabolism in most of our customers, we are usually requested to bring an entire tray of the cuisine sometimes.", the waiter informed.
"Oh, well then. How much more will this cost?", Rarity asked with a worried look.
"Rarity, don't worry, I can pay enough to buy this place if I wanted.", Blueblood assured.
"Oh, thank you. It's just that, even though I design wonderful and very costly costumes, suits, and gowns, even dresses, I have to keep the price low. No one rich comes to my boutique, and well, I am the element of generosity. so, as you can see, I don't have very much money."

Soon after they finished, Blueblood ordered the wine and cider bottles to the table. Removing the cap off of each, he mixed the two, via magic, leaving both equally cider and wine. Setting each on both sides of the table, he sighed silently.

"Take home? Well, you're being exceptionally generous. Why such a change in heart?"
"Oh? You mean why am I just now being..."

"Allow me to call up the carriage."
"You brought a carriage? I didn't see one outside."
"Oh, they're on a schedule. I had expected to have finished a minute or two ago, but they wouldn't mind waiting."

"Our carriage awaits."
Walking outside, both could see the carriage immediately, pulled by two of the guards from the castle, and the royal decor of the carriage itself showed that it was even from the castle.
"I've not been able to ride in one of these before. Or atleast that I can remember immediately."
"Well then, there is a first time for everypony!"
Smiling, Rarity approached the carriage with excitement, and after Blueblood got on, he helped her up and into the seat next to him. As the carriage pulled forward the guards began at a run, flaring their wings as they took off, taking the carriage and the two unicorns with them. As the carriage soon came to a stop, landing in front of the castle, Rarity used her magic to fix the few stray hairs in her mane.

"It's nothing much, really, I could easily get a few thousand of these wine bottles and cider! Cheers."
Raising their glasses in cheers, they both drank them quickly, Blueblood refilling them right after. He took another few sips before speaking.
"Now, I hear that in Ponyville, you are very successful in fashion, no?"
"Yes, but, I can't get into such a thing now. I mean, I wouldn't want to bore you."
"Hmm. I know what you mean. After all, I do tire of the same repetitive schedule of my days. I grow oh so tired of having to deal with business, hosting parties. It's nice to actually attend a party as a guest every once and a while."
Taking another sip of his glass, he refilled it after, then Rarity's as she emptied hers for the second time.
"If this continues, we might not have anymore wine and cider.", Rarity joked.
"Well, it is delicious. Full taste of apple cider, mixed in with the bitter sweet taste of luscious red cherry wine. It's simply wonderful."
"I know.", Rarity giggled slightly.
"Oh, so cute."
"Well, about calling me cute.", Rarity set down the glass, "What are your true thoughts of me?"
"I beg your pardon?"
"Well, what do you really think of me?"
Blueblood smiled, nodding his head a few times.
"Well, I can't really put it into words. It's not bad, as you may expect, it's...more of love."
If the wine hadn't turned her cheeks red long ago, it would show now as she blushed.
"It's something I can't really say, because it requires action.", he edged closer to her.
