Feelings

Rarity was sitting alone in her home thinking of all the arguments she has had with Applejack and how they disagreed on so many things. Did Applejack really hate her? She sighed and knew that it probably was true. She went downstairs and made herself some tea as she thought of the cow pony. Should she ask her close and personally or ask her in a letter. Asking while she was close would probably embarress Applejack and asking it in a letter was rude.

Rarity thought over on what to do and decided to go and ask her. She really wanted to know it was itching at her mind. And she just needed an answer. She knew Applejack would never lie either since she is the element of honesty and doing that would disresepect her element. She walked out of her boutique and walked in the direction torwards Applejacks farm hoping she would be there while also scanning near by to see if she was around any of there.

As soon as she established that she was home she decided to go foreward. She hoped Applejack wouldent be annoyed of her asking the question. She hoped Applejack wouldent ignore her and think her question is stupid. She also hoped that she didn't say yes. That would totally devastate her and ruin their entire friendship in a one answer.

She was really shaky and nervous as she walked and had to stop a few times from getting dizzy. She also thought about talking about other stuff first and then she would spring the answer on her. She walked all the way to her place and knocked on the door. Applejack answered.

"Hello Rarity! Stopping by?" She asked. Rarity nervously twiddled her hooves and answered.

"Yeah I uh...need to talk to you about a few things." She said. Applejack smiled and held the door open for her friend and Rarity entered and the door closed as Rarity went to sit down. Applejack sat down as well and they had some apple cider and talked about he day's events and the news in the paper.

Rarity decided to ease Applejack into conversation and then spring it on her. So they talked about gossip about the townsponies and they talked about their friends and how they loved them all and would hope to get together some time again. As they finished their tea Rarity calmed down as the tea helped relieve her stress. They then poured themselves refills and that seemed to do the job for Rarity as she was at a temporary peace to calm herself before she would ask the question that she wanted to ask.

After conversing Rarity wondered how she would ask the question. She couldent just blurt it out it would confuse Applejack. She decided to take silent breaths and calm her mind of any other negative thoughts that would make it worse for her. As they finished their tea they had some coffee and food and then they drank and threw the garbage. Applejack looked at Rarity and saw her smiling at some book covers as Applejack thought up a plan of subtlety to ask her or just plain blurt it out which would put Rarity off

After thinking of this for a few moments they leaned in and spread that time. The couches were pretty good. They were comfy and not to pointy or rough as they were just right. They both say they were and they both felt like it was heaven sitting on them. After a while they both stretched their legs with the question still on Rarities mind.

They both say their for a moment and thought about the days events themselves and of eachother. Rarity wondered what was on Applejacks mind and Applejack wondered what was on Rarities mind. The question started making her impatient. It was taking all of her power to not abandon her friend as they were both comfortable with just sitting in silence.

In the silence Rarity wondered what would happen. Would Applejack answer her, tell her it's a dumb question or laugh. She had no idea at this point as she contemplated on what to do with her question that was straining her brain as she repeatedly thought about how to present it. She didn't want to blame any of her friends by accident either as she all loved her friends.

Her heart was beating very fast now as she thought about what will happen she turned to her friend and spoke. It all came down to this very moment. She hoped her answer was positive she really did because if it wasn't she would be devastated but she had hope as her friend would never do that to her. She then decided to speak.

"I need to ask you a question and I don't want you to ask me why I'm asking this." Rarity said. Applejack shrugged.

"Okay I won't ask you." She said wanting Rarity to feel in control. Her breath shortened and she spoke.

"Do you hate me? Be honest with me." She asked. Applejack was absolutely shocked that Rarity asked that as she would never hate her. And she didn't know why she was as Applejack is the element of honesty and would never lie. She thought Rarity was a very good pony.

"Of coarse I don't hate you! Where did you get that ridiculous idea?!" Applejack asked.

"Because we argue and we don't like the same interests and I like to be clean while you love getting dirty and you always act you are annoyed of me." Rarity said. Applejack put a hoof on her shoulder and spoke to her reassuringly.

"I do not hate you! I love you and would be devastated if you were ever hurt by somepony. Sure we have disagreements and arguments from time to time like a lot of friends but that doesn't mean that I hate you! I love you!" Applejack said. They then hugged.

"Thank you!" Rarity said. Applejack smiled.

"Your welcome." Applejack said. They then broke away from the hug and they were both glad that Rarity knew that Applejack didn't hate her and loved that she was friends with her and Rarity loved that she was friends with Applejack.
