There was a gentle breeze flowing through the Tunnels of Lunos, making a Very eery whispering sound off the cave walls. There was a small group of ponies traveling through , but it seemed that they were lost. "We've been in here for hours Lunox, Our parents might be worried to death!" A small filly said as she followed behind the small unicorn colt."Don't worry, everypony knows that these tunnels are abandoned, besides you told me earlier that you weren't scared of monsters." Lunox said with a chuckle."Unless your lying." He said patronising the small filly."I lied! Im read to go home now! Its dark and spooky and.." A snapping of a stick could be heard as it echoed through the woods."what was that.." a sudden pause happened for almost a minute as no sudden movements came from either foal. "I think were being followed.." The filly said in a whisper."You might be right.." Lunox said as he thought of something."ok lets slowly walk this way, there seems to be a light at the end of this tunnel.." He said in a whisper tone as he began walking on the tips of his hooves. As they got closer, the smell of smoke began to thicken, the filly then seen what was the cause of the smoke. At the end of the tunnel wasn't just a light, but the lighting of flames coming out the nostrils of a sleeping dragon."be very quiet..." Lunox whispered to the filly."if he wakes up we'll be in grave.." Lunox's front hoof accidentally kicks a small emerald and it made a clinking noise against some gold. They then sighed in relief, but then the part of the hoard the emerald hit was a weak point in the stash of gold, and the gold began to tumble down like an avalanche, waking the dragon. They remained very still, not wanting to provoke."No sudden movements.." The filly said to lunox."If it sees us move ...were.." The dragon was already looking at them with one eye open."oh no.." They made a dash for it, luckily there was a cave on the other side of the dragons hoard for them to go down, but they weren't the only ones running down the tunnel. The roar of the dragon echoed as it charged after them, charging up fire at the back of its throat while doing so. There was a small indent in the wall up ahead, and as the dragon let his blast of fire go, they dove into the indention, and pressed their backs against the cold cave wall as the flames went past them. Their hearts were beating with fear as they looked at each other."This was the worst idea youve had lunox!" The little filly screamed."Im sorry i pulled you into this Mira!" he said as the flames stopped. The dragon began to smell the air. His muzzle right in front of them."he's gonna find us.." Mira said shaking. "I dont think he can smell us.." Lunox said confused.The dragon then slowly backed away and turned around, moving slowly back to its hoard. It lost their scent. The two then dashed out the cave after finding a exit through a small tunnel. "That was way to close!" Lunox said huffing."THAT THING ALMOST KILLED US! " Mira said freaking out. Lunox just smiled."HOW CAN YOU BE SMILING RIGHT NOW?" Mira said with anger."Im never going with you anywhere like this again." She said looking at her mane."and my mane is singed! How am i gonna tell mom?!" A mare voice then speaks."Tell mom what?.." The mare said with a raised brow.
