Osea and it`s brotherly nation after Circum Pacific War, Union of Yuktobanian Republics, plans to hold a summit at Northpoint, Eastern Usean continent. Princesses of Equestria, Twilight Sparkle, Celestia, Luna, and Cadence were invited to talk about stability with other nations. Princess Celestia, and other Princesses of Equestria were looking forward to help their new friends and neighbors to find and solve solutions to ensure the safety of their countries and try to avoid the escalations of any future conflicts. However, Principality of Belka, refuses to cooperate with Equestria, due to it`s membership of; not only with Osea, but also with ISAF. Belka, after years of defeat, they vow revenge against Osea, Sapin, and Ustio. But Belka is not the only nation, as a small nation that splits with Equestria from the southeast, an Anti-United Equestria rogue country, the Democratic Republics of Lendo. Lendo joins Belka, as well the two nations Federal Republics of Estovakia and former Federal Republics of Erusea, and forms alliance, known as ISIF (International States of Idealist Foundation). After ISIF`s foundation, Belka begins to develop more dangerous weapons that would threatens the world, a space railgun Catalyst, super aerial fortress Goliath (XB-0II), and a gigantic super warship, a Battle-Carrier Proteus, that is also capable to launch ballistic missiles and nuclear missiles. As for Lendo, they create a missile launching facility similar to Eruseas Megalith, Slavnyy (Glorious). And they created a super railgun had similar designs and is bigger than Eruseas Stonehenge, and more powerful than Estovakia`s Chandelier; Excoquam (Purge). As two weeks past, Lendo got weapons, armored vehicles, and aircrafts from Belka and Erusea, and it`s army and Air Force grows more stronger, raising concerns to Equestria and Osea. Equestria tries to call for calm and stability within their region. But before Equestria tries to get prepared, they were unable to call for help from Osea, not wanting its military to enter the nation. And Lendos military invaded Eastern parts of Equestria: taking Fillydelphia, and Manehattan. Lendo helps Belka to recapture Ustio and sector of Sudentor, or Northeastern Osea. This was marked the beginning of the first global war, known as Jesta Conflict. As Lendo threaten to use their nuclear weapons that Belka hands them, Osea calls to ISAF, Emmeria, and former Belkan War allies to gear up as they form an allied alliance, United Allied Union Group. ISAF forces sends their military to Ustio and Sapin to be stationed, while Osean Naval forces joins with ISAF`s. As for Sapin and Yuktobanian forces, they send small amount of military forces into Equestria, giving Equestria more help they can get. Aurelia as well sends their small numbers of forces up to Emmeria incase of any attacks from Estovakia. However, some of the military forces of Estovakia, condemns those go rogue against the world and would commit threats to stability and peace of the world. Hoping for the best, Celestia and the Princesses of Equestria joins forces to fight against, not only those who goes rogue; but those who`re commited to acts of terrorism. Living in Equestria after moving from Usean continent, Nicholas Ivanson, an autistic 19 year old orphan and son of his late father who served for ISAF during a war against Erusea, have spent his time living in Canterlot. He was known for his acts of kindness, and helping those in need. In his spare time, he listens to heavy metal and hard rock music, and he reads books on military fighter jets, which hes inspired to the Erusean wars ace pilot, Mobius 1. Along with him, is a good friend whos been like a Brother to him, an 20 year old autistic orphan named Aaron OMatty. Aaron was also known to be kind-hearted, and yet caring to those around him. Aaron as well loves heavy metal, but prefers more of Metalcore, Power Metal, Industrial Metal, and Symphonic Metal. Aaron one time was on news paper for his acts of kindness to other mares; specially Fleur De Lis, the supermodel, and to Princess Flurry Heart, daughter of Shining Armor and Princess Cadence, and his crush. However, he was shy towards the daughter of the Princess of Love, despite hes a close friend to her. He does have feelings for the princess, but doesnt want to admit it to her. Nicholas was close friends with one of the royal guards, a mare royal guard Gleaming Shield, Shining Armor`s cousin. Since their first meeting, they spent some time together while at royal guards duty. They later on got closer, developing a friendship with a bit of romance. As time went on, war fears gave him concerns for those around him. He vows to join the military to fight and defend Equestria from those who threatens peace and stability, even if it causes his own life to protect those he cares dearly. As for Aaron, he felt the same way. But he lost his family to an enemy bomber during Belkan war, vowing to get revenge against to Belkans, whom he blamed personally for the death of his family. Nicholas was in his room that is upstairs in the orphanage, downing push-ups, sit-ups, and crotches to show that he`s welling to protect those he cares for, and to keep his honor to his dad that sacrifices his life for his son and for freedom against Erusea. The next day, he went out for a jog. During his jogging, he looks up to the skies, and saw two ASF-X Shinden II`s. He stops for a moment to catch his breath, still looking up to those two jets soaring by. He sees that these jets were from Osean Air Force. After minutes of breathing, he continues to jog, returning home. While jogging back home, he encounters Gleaming Shield`s cousin, Shining Armor. "Hey Nick!" He waves at him, as Nick stops by and greets him. "Hello, Captain Shining Armor." Nicholas salutes him, as Shining said to him with a chuckle, "At ease, Nick. You`re not in the military, bud!" Shining Armor asked him, "What are you doing in this time?" "Just going out for a jog, sir!" Nick nods, wiping sweat off his forehead. "I can see that." Shining Armor complies. Nicholas said to him, "I wanted to join the military, to serve and protect those whore in harms way. That's why Im out here jogging, sir." Shining smiles and said, "Listen, Nick! I know your dad serve for the military years back. But, you might not, cause it`s a rough job." "I know that!" Nick said to him, "However, I would rather be a pilot of the Air Force, flying in a fighter jet to fight any threats from above. Thats what Id rather do." Shining Armor understood, as he nods, "Hmm! Interesting stuff, buddy!" Nick shook hands and said, "Well, I`m gonna let you go, take care! And make sure Gleaming Shield stays out of trouble, will ya?!" "You got it, buddy! Hope things worked out for you!" Shinning Armor waves at him, smiling. Nicholas continues on jogs his way back home, feeling determined to become a pilot like his father. And thinks of hopefully getting together with Gleaming Shield, thinking of hanging out with her if she`s open. //-------------------------------------------------------// Taking to the skies! Part 1: Take off //-------------------------------------------------------// Taking to the skies! Part 1: Take off The base commander, Brigadier General Richard Cowens, calls for the air base to use defense systems instead of risking of sending a plane out. The base`s XO, Lieutenant Colonel Akari Shani, disagrees with the idea of not having a plane launched from the air base, while using only air defences. "Sir," Shani complains, "We need to send our jets up in the skies! We`re also dealing with enemy ace pilots out there, such as the Schnitter of Erusean Air Force!" "Im aware of it!" The base commander complies, "But however, its better to at least hold out much longer we can, until reinforcements arrives!" As they`re about to argue, the door opens. They look up, and see the staff member with Nicholas. The base commander looks at the base staff. "Who`s this kid?" He asked him, as the staffer responds, "This kid wants to talk to you!, sir! His name is Nicholas Ivanson, and he believed to have a father served in the Usean Continental War with ISAF." The base commanders looks at Nicholas with shocked expression. Shani asks Nicholas, "Son, is it true? Your dad fought with ISAF years back?" "Yes!" Nicholas acknowledges, "My dad has been with ISAF and died from fighting with the Eruseans. And my friend, Aaron O`Matty, had a father served in the Belkan War." The base commanders were shocked by his statements, but Brigadier General Cowens looks at him and said, "Listen, kid! I know your dad, and I have no time for this history lesson! We`re at war here!" Nicholas then retorted, "I know, but why are you not going to send any fighters up there?" "Because we have our orders!" Cowens urges, "We dont have anymore pilots at this time! The two pilots of ASF-X Shinden IIs were downtown of Canterlot, however. And theyre considered KIA. So we don`t have anymore pilots here!" Nicholas, understanding the situation clearly, realizes that the jets he saw couple days ago, we're still around the base. Nicholas, had determination to protect those he cares, now wants to contribute to help. "Me and Aaron`ll help!" Nicholas calls out, as they looks at him. "I seen controls of fighters and looks of planes before! Same goes to Aaron! We can be your replacement pilots for now!" Cowens looks at him, and said, "No, kid! It`s too dangerous!" Nicholas then responds, "Its still risky of not having anymore of your jets up there, if we dont do something. And the whole base will be toasted!" "I SAID NO!!" Cowens yells, "I understand your concerns! However, we got advanced surface to air missiles thatll take the targets down, even if they tried to avoid them! How do you expect to help out there?! You and your friends are just kids, and you guys don`t know what it takes to be a pilots!" That hit the nerve right there, as Nicholas balls up a fist. He's still determined to fight to protect, no matter the cause is. But suddenly, the radar watcher calls, "Radar picked up something on from distance, General!" "What are they, Serge?!" Cowens asks him, as he responded, "Radars picking up twelve bombers heading towards our base and Canterlot itself! Nine TU-95s and three B-2s! Also, theres seven Mig-35!" The Base commander then commands, "We need to try to hold out until reinforcements arrived!" "Well, you know what?!" Nicholas argues, "If you think so, it`ll be nothing to do if this base here is bombed and trashed, right?! I will not let it happen!" Base commander was about to yell down at him, but Nicholas stated, "I'm welling to protect those I care about, and Im welling to not let anyone, or anypony, die! If me and Aaron go out and fight or die trying, so be it! Well even try to hold them off if we can! Please, sir! Give us a shot!" Base commander understood his statement. However, he then yells, "Get him out!" As Nicholas walks out with the staffer, Nicholas thought his words are useless. But however, after they left the radar or command post, the staffer then whispers, "Get your friend, Nick!" Nicholas asks him, "Why?!" The staff member then responds with a smile, "I`m going to get you two up there, and show those bastards what you two are made of!" "What?! I thought you would disagree with what I said!" Nicholas said to him, and the staffer said, "I saw you with your dad before when you're just a baby. And I could tell that despite of your disability, you could remember the controls automatically and when you came here two weeks ago, you looked at the cockpit and studied it for about a minute! Same goes to your friend too! So, I think you got a shot to take on the net pilots up them, as far as I believe. And I believe you and your friend can make a difference up the skies!" Nicholas smiles, as he understood that he agreed what he stated to the base commander, and sighs, "Alright! Let`s do this!" The staff smiles and grabs his radio and calls, "Any plane mechanics there?" The other caller on the radio responds, "Yes sir! What is it you need?" The staff member complies, "I want you to get the two ASF-X Shinden IIs fueled and ready to fight! We have two replacement pilots that wants to take to the air!" Meanwhile at the base hall, everypony were talking, concerned about what`s going on and Lendo had declared war against Equestria, alongside with Belka, Erusea, and other countries that are fighting against allied forces. Aaron looks up, and sees the Princesses Celestia and Luna walking in the room. Princess Twilight Sparkle was among them, as she sees her parents and her friends, hugging them with concern but relief look. He then turns to see Cadence and Shining Armor walks in, and Flurry Heart`s with them. Flurry turns to Aaron and runs up to him. "Aaron!" She cries, as she jumps up and hugs him. She let out a sob and said, "I dont...I dont know what`s happening!" Aaron blushes, but later takes confidence and rubs her mane. "Its okay, Princess!" He said to her, "Everyone of your friends and loved ones are here! Dont worry, I`m here with you, your majesty!" Flurry calms down, and looks up to him, smiling. Her eyes were streaming tears, and Aaron wipes them away. "You know, Princess." Aaron sighs calmly, ignoring his anxiety. "You look beautiful with tears coming out your eyes. And I...Umm. And I think you do have beautiful eyes, Princess." "Awww! thank you, Aaron!" Daughter of Cadence complies, as she kissed him on his right cheek, and her wings spread open. Causing Aaron to let a faint yelp. Flurry giggles of his response of her kiss. "You just made small yelp, did you?" "W-well, sorta." Aaron nods, as he looks at Flurry giving him a warm smile. Aaron then had a thought that now he wants to admit his feelings to the daughter Princess of Love. He took a deep calmly breath and ignores his anxiety, and said to her, "Flurry Heart. I...I have a confession to tell you." Flurry Heart smiles and looks at him square in the eye. She said, "Go ahead! I`m listening." Aaron then said, "Ever since we first met, since when me and Nicholas moved her, I had some type of feelings for you, romantically. And I...I truly adore your royal good looks, and your ability of save the Crystal Empire from King Sombra and all you do. But, what I truly adore the most part of you is...Is your beauty. And I do admit to myself that youre far more beautiful than Rarity, and you care for those around you, specially your friends and family, as well those around you. Thats what I think of you." Aaron took a deep breath, then confesses, "Princess Flurry Heart. You're the most beautiful mare of all Equestria, and I always say that 'you`re beautiful' and all. That's why I want you to be happy. And I-" As he was about to say something else, Nicholas with the base staff member runs up to him and told him, "Come on, Aaron! We got to get ready!" "Ready for what?" Aaron asks him, but the staff member complies, "No time to explain! We have to go, follow me, boys!" Aaron looks back at Flurry and said, "Well talk about this later! Ill be back." Aaron took off with Nicholas and the base member, leaving Flurry with a smile on her face. But, as he turns away and walks with his brother with the base member, Cadences daughter tells her parents and Aunt Twilight that shes gonna use a restroom, but follows Aaron instead, feeling concerned of what`s going on. As they followed the base staff to the pilots locker room, Aaron looks at Nicholas and asked him, "Nick, what`re we doing here?" Nicholas turns to him and said, "We`re going to fight the enemy forces up in the skies!" "What?!" Aaron shunned. "Why us?!" The staff member then said, "The base commander said that they`re not going to send any planes up there, and we lost two of our pilots at Canterlot during a surprise attack! So Nicholas is volunteers to pilot, and so are you going with him. And besides, I called the mechanics to get your planes fueled and armed. So you guys are now the pilots!" Understanding of whats going on, Aaron then said to his friend, "Nick, Im not sure about-" "Theres no time to explain!" Nicholas cuts him off and said, "If we dont fight, everyone around us are gonna be killed, despite were sheltering in the base! And enemy forces are sending bomyers to bomb this base if we dont stop them!" Aaron thought about Princess Flurry Heart, concerned of her safety and her friends as well. Aaron knows that it`s his chance to protect his loved ones this time, as he vows to do something like a hero does for those around them. Aaron then complies, "Alright! I`m in with you, Nick!" Nicholas smiles, and pats him on the shoulder. The door opens after being unlocked, and the staff said, "Okay, boys! Hurry up and get dress into the pilot suits! I`ll meet you two outside!" "Yes sir!" The boys nods in salute, as they rush in the locker room to get dress up for some action. The boys opened their chosen lockers, they seen pilot flight suits and helmets. They put on the flight suits while keeping their gym shorts and shirts on. It took minutes for them to get suit up for aerial combat over Canterlot. After they got dressed, Nicholas then told Aaron, "Okay, Aaron! This our moment to protect those around us! Whatever you have in your mind: whatever scares you or make you doubt, dont hesitate! Just keep your cool and youll be fine, buddy!" "Okay, Nick!" Aaron nods his head, feeling determined to protect the ones he cared about alongside his step-brother. Aaron closes the locker door, and see Princess Flurry Heart standing there, startling Aaron. "Aaron? Nick? Whatre you guys doing?!" She asks them with concern, and Nicholas answers, "Were fighting the enemy above Canterlot, and we`re going to defend this base as well!" "What?!" Flurry shocked. "It`s dangerous out there! You two are gonna get hurt or worst!" Aaron then added, "Its a long story, Flurry. Nicholas is determined to protect you guys, as well as me. Im not going to let anything happen to you, your friends, you family, and loved ones. So, I don`t want any harm come to you, Princess!" "Aaron, Ill let you two talk for a bit, and I want you out as soon as possible, got me?" Nicholas said to his step-brother, as he complies with a nod from his head. Nicholas walks out, leaving Aaron with Flurry Heart to talk of whats going on. Aaron then said, "Flurry." He begins. "I not only want you to feel sad, but I also don`t want you or your loved ones to die in vain. And I will do anything to not let anything happen to you or your loved ones. Or you! Me and Nick will be fine, cause Nick knows planes as I do. So I think we can do this." Understanding this, Flurry started to walled up in tears, not only she`s touched by his acts of kindness, but now his shown of bravery to protect her and those around her, makes her realize that Aaron considers her and her loved ones important to him. She leaps up to him and hugs him around his neck, and cries. "Oh, Aaron!" She sobbed, she felt Aarons arms wrap around her. Aaron then sighs, "Flurry Heart, I promise that Ill protect you, and your friends and your loved ones. I promise I will." Flurry looks up to him with tears streaming down her face, and said, "Aaron, those things you said to me, thank you! And thank you for everything to be kind to me! You`re truly are a kind and caring person!" "Anytime, Princess! And thank you, for being in my life. I hope you do feel happy of what I said to you and all the things I do for you and those around us." Aaron smiles, placing his on hand on her cheek to wipe a tear away. He then said to her, "I`ll be back." And was about to leave. But Princess Flurry Heart grabs him by his arm and gets his attention. She sobs with her face blushes, "Aaron, I...I..." Knowing the she doesn't have time to confess something she had in her head, she leaps up and plants a kiss onto his lips. Her alicorn wings opens up. Aaron was shocked by her kissing him, started to make him think that she`s admitting her feelings for him. He accepted the kiss, as his eyelids slowly close his eyes. He places his one hand on her right cheek, while hugging the Princess. As they parted, Flurry Heart looks up to him and finally said to him, "...I love you!" Aaron then smiles and calmly replies, "I love you too, Princess!" Flurry Heart smiles and pecks him on the lips, and keep her arms around his neck. They look at eachother, and Flurrys horn lites up, and a magic aurora encircles one of her necklace, and floats off of Flurrys neck and onto Aaron`s. Aaron looks onto the necklace and was about to say something, but the Flurry Heart places her finger on his lips. "I want you to take it, Aaron!" She said to him. "And promise me this: No matter how or what happens, please be safe up there, and come back in one piece!" Aaron then nods his head and said, "I will! I won't let you down! Or your loved ones too! I promise." Aaron took off running to get ready to fly, leaving Flurry Heart standing there, smiling. "Go get 'em, my beloved!" She sighs, "As I believe you`ll succeed, my beloved!" Nicholas arrives at the hanger next to the building Nicholas and Aaron were getting their flight suits on. The mechanic met with the staff, who helped guided Nicholas to get ready to take to the skies in a aerial battle against the attacking forces, and talks. "Seriously, sir." The mechanic said to him, "I dont know about this. But hope these kids know what theyre doing." "Trust me," The staff member said to the mechanic. "I know Nicholas` dad long ago, and Nicholas never loses his touch of the knowledge on fighter jets! I believe he and his step-brother can make a difference out there!" The mechanic looks at him, and said, "Okay! Then, let`s see what those two kids got!" The base staff nods, and turns to see Nicholas is ready. Aaron arrived as they got approval. The mechanic then shouts, "Alright! Nicholas Ivanson and Aaron OMatty, you two a cleared for launch! Lets get movin!" "Yes sir!" They saluted to them, as they mount onto their ASF-X Shinden IIs. As Nicholas about to mount on his selected jet, he turns and said to the base staff, "Thank you for your help, Mister!" "Just call me First Sergeant Myatt, son!" He said to him, as he said, "Make your daddy proud, Nick!" Nicholas nods his head, as he climbs into the Shinden IIs` cockpit. He looks around and memorizes to start the jet. He looks to the other Shinden next to him, where Aaron was getting ready to take off as well. Back at the air base`s control room, the radio communicator got a word that the two Shinden IIs are getting ready to take off. He turns to Brigadier General Cowens and said, "Sir! We got word that two of our ASF-X Shinden IIs are taxiing the runway!" Cowen urges, "What?! Who`s taking off in our jets?" "I think it`s the two boys, sir!" The communicator stated, as Cowens begins to realize that it was Nicholas and his step-brother, Aaron. He then grabs a radio and calls to Nicholas, "Mr. Ivanson! What the hell are you and your step-brother doing?" Nicholas replies, "We`re going to deal with those S.O.Bs from destroying anything around them!" "NO YOURE NOT, NICHOLAS! IM ORDERED YOU TO STAND DOWN AND GET TO SHELTER, NOW!" The base commander yells angerly, only to see Nicholas refused to sit back. Nicholas responds, "NO! LISTENING HERE, GENERAL! IM NOT GOING TO WATCH ANY INNOCENT ANTHRO-PONIES, OR ANYBODY ELSE, DIES! IF YOU AT LEAVE GIVE US A CHANCE, WE WILL NOT BROTHER YOU! AND IF YOU DONT, YOU GUYS ARE SCREWED COMPLETELY! I HAVE A REASON TO PRO TCT THOSE THAT I CARE ABOUT, AND I WANT TO SHOW YOU GUYS WHAT ME AND MY STEP-BROTHER CAN DO! PLEASE!" The base commander admits in his mind that he`s right, realizing that would be useless of not having anymore pilots up there, would mean the destruction of the base. He took a sigh, and complies, "Alright, son! You and your step-brother are hear-by be our replacement pilots, for now! You have one shot at this, you two! Don`t waste it!" "Roger!" The kids replies, as theyre about to taxi on the runway to launch. The base commander added, "And Becareful out there, theres an enemy ace up in the skies, known as Schnitter! He`s a tough opponent!" "Dont worry, sir!" Aaron replies, "Im gonna try to handle him, cause unlike Nick my step-bro, I can tell any pilotssenses and I can read them like a book. Even when theyre able to react on different ways!" "Okay, son!" Cowens complies, "This is your test to show us what you got! Don`t screw this up!" "Copy!" Aaron replies. The boys in their jets got on the runway. The boys in their planes checked everything; fuel, ammunition, armor/health, IFF system, radio and radar systems. As they got everything checked, Nicholas calls out, "This is Nicholas Ivanson! Everything`s all set, ready to head out!" He then increase the thrust of his fighter jet, and took off on the runway. After his planes airborne, Nicholas pressed the switch to bring his planes landing gears close. "I`m airborne!" Nicholas calls out. Aaron takes his time, and seen everything`s all set for him. "Launch preparations are complete!" He calls out, as he slowly closes his eyes, and focus his thought of Princess Flurry Heart, and her loved ones. He kept his promise to protect her, and those around them. 'Alright, Aaron!' He thought. 'You promise to Flurry that youll be protecting her, and shes making you to promise to come back safely! You're also determined to protect those around you, like Nicholas wanting to do the same as well! Don`t waste it!' Fifteen seconds of thinking while his eyes shut, his hands grips onto the controls of his plane. He opens his eyes and calls out, "This is Aaron OMatty, lets go!" Aaron puts thrust in full power, his plane started to move, gaining speed. As his plane got enough speed, Aaron pulls onto the stick up, and his jet climbs up to the skies. He felt that he almost passed out, but he kept his focus, and pushed the switch to close his plane`s landing gears. Watching the boys taking to the skies, Princess Flurry Heart stood out in front of the hanger, smiling for Aaron and Nicholas. "I`m airborne!" Aaron calls out, as the base commander calls to him and Nicholas, "Alright, kids! Good luck out there! We pray for your success up in the skies!" "Roger!" Both the boys replies, as Nicholas calls to the base commander and said, "Just in case any enemy aircrafts flies overhead, keep your defense system active!" "Roger that, son!" Cowens acknowledges, and turns to Aaron and said, "Aaron, get on my right wing!" "Okay!" Aaron complies, as he already got on his step-brothers right side. As Aaron got on his side, Nicholas calls to Aaron, "So, howre you and Princess Flurry Heart?" "Doing good," Aaron replied, "Just had a short conversation and all." "And did you two kissed?" Nicholas asked jokingly, as Aaron blushes and shrugs, "Shut your tail hole!" Part 2: The Battle At the skies of Canterlot, one out of five allied aircraft (three F-16s active, while an F -15E still remains air worthy) struggles to maintain air superiority against the Erusean squadron, Albireo. One of the allied pilots that was shot down that bailed out has been killed while bailed from his plane, torned to shreds by bullets that were fired from Shadow Blade, Schnitter. "Heheh!" Shadow laughed and sighs. He then said, "You`re not an entertainment to me. But, you do put up a show, barely!" "Razor 1, sir! The Schnitters on your tail! Turn hard!" One of the pilots calls out to the pilot of the F -15E, still struggling against Shadows wingman, Dimitri Asulf. "Ngh!" The F -15E pilot shrugs, as he tries to get him out of his tail. But it was no use, Shadow still kept on tailing him. "I can't shake him!" He yells in panic, as he felt it`s over for him. Shadow looks onto his gauge, and he got locked on the F -15E, and smiles. "I have you know, Lil pest! Say good night!" He grins, as his finger was about to pull the trigger. But, a sudden call from Dimitri yells at Shadow, "Commander! Missile in bound onto your three o`clock!" Shadow looks to his side, and sees a missile. He immediately pulls up, and avoids the missile. He angrily growls, "What the tartarus?!" Shadow turns where the missile came from, and see that there`s to ASF-X Shinden IIs heading into the battle zone. It was Nicholas and Aaron that took off from the air base. "Attention all allied units!" Called Nicholas voice, "Enemy bomber squadron`s heading towards the city and the air base! Pull together and defend this area at all costs!" The pilot of the F-15E then responded, "Who`s this?!" "This is Nicholas Ivanson and Aaron OMatty! Were the replacement pilots for those fighter jets! We're here to help!" But the F-15E pilot stutters, "Kids?! Piloting fighter jets?! Wha-" "There`s no time to explain! We have to secure air superiority above Canterlot and the air base!" Nicholas said on the radio, telling the pilots to focus on the enemy and protect the city and air base. The F -15E pilot sighs, and said, "Alright!" The pilot turns to his squadron and calls, "All remaining units, listen up! Nicholas and his friend are going to need some help from us! Enemy bomber squadrons heading to bomb the city and our air base! We cant let them handle this alone! Let`s back them up!" "Roger!" His team complies, as they break away to deal with the enemy fighters attacking the city, following their flight lead. Shadow, angered of losing his prey, turns to the two planes that Nicholas and Aaron are flying. "Youre going to pay for it!" He anger sighs, as he calls to Dimitri, "Albireo 2! Come with me, weve got ourselves some party crashers here! Let`s get them!" "Roger that, Shadow!" Dimitri replies, as they regrouped and heads to engage Aaron and Nicholas in two-versus-two dogfight. Nicholas looks in front of his plane, and sees the group of enemy bombers and escorts of MIG-33s. Nicholas radios to Aaron, "Aaron! I spotted enemy bomber formation, five miles ahead of us!" "Let`s go get them!" Aaron replies. Nicholas looks down in his fighter jet controls, and clicks the master weapons switcher. He then moves his thumb the joy stick to switch to advanced medium range air-to-air missiles (XMAA6) AMRAAMs. He calls to Aaron, "Aaron! Switch to your special weapons! We`re gonna try to take the enemy bombers at once!" "Roger, Nick!" Aaron complies, doing the same thing that Nicholas done. They approach the enemy bomber formation, but Aaron notices that enemy fighter are heading their way. Seven escorting the bombers, and two more from behind them. "Nick!" Aaron calls to Nicholas, "Enemy fighters are coming at us! Seven ahead, and two on our backs!" "I know!" Nicholas stated, "Lets give `em hell, Aaron!" Aaron heard his gauge let out a loud 'beep', telling him that hes locked onto enemy fighters ahead. "Aaron here, Fox three!" He shouted, as he pulls the trigger, sending six of his AMRAAMs missiles at the enemy fighters instead of the bombers. Nicholas didnt pull the trigger, as he lets his step-brother to bag some kills. Watching his missiles fly at the MIGs, all of them made contact with the enemy fighters, leaving only one MIG-33 stranded. But, shrapnel of the other MIGs that were hit, rained on the remaining MIG-33, as small pieces flies into its left engine intake, and cause one of the MIG-33s engine to be badly damaged. The MIG-33 bugged out, withdrawing from the air space. Nicholas then cheers to Aaron, "THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT, BRO! YOU TOO OUT ALL THE ENEMY ESCORTS IN ONE GO!" "WHHEEEWW YEAH, BABY!" Aaron cheers, only to nod his head. He still kept his hands onto his plane`s controls. "Alright, Aaron!" Nicholas calls to him on the radio. "We have to go after the enemy bombers!" Aaron re-focuses, and replies, "Copy that, bro! Let`s get them!" Aaron increases thrusts of his plane, and pursues the bomber formation. Nicholas only nods his head, and follows after Aaron. He increases thrust to follow behind him. Seeing what just happened, Shadow and Dimitri were shocked to see one pilot took out all the escorts in one shot. Shadow felt outraged, as he seen the plane took out his comrades. "S-Shadow!" Dimitri stutters, "D-did you just saw wha-" "I know!" Shadow snarls with rage, gripping onto his joy stick and thrusters angrily. "Hes had a lucky shot on them! And they shouldve moved before it happened!" Shadow turns to his wingman, and said, "You go after the other plane, I`ll go after the one who took out the escorts!" Dimitri was going to say something, but he knows that he`s not in a mood for any responses. "R...Roger, sir!" He replied, as he and Shadow increase thrusts to go after Aaron and Nicholas. Back at the air base; in the control room, the radar specialist watches in amazement of how Nicholas and Aaron cause damage to the enemy attacking forces. "Sir!" He said to Brigadier General Cowens. "Aaron O`Matty bagged all six MIG-33s, and one of them is retreating from the airspace so far!" The enemy bomber squadron are now struggling to evade Aaron and Nicholas, and one by one of bombers are now being shot down. "Now, Nicholas bagged six TU-95 Bears and Aaron attacked one of them! Only five bombers left, sir!" He said, and recalls, "Now Aaron attacked another one, and Nicholas another! Three bombers left! And they`re appeared to be B-2s!" "Thats unbelievable!" Cowens urges, shocked of how to two autistic boys performed in the air combat. "They didnt even train! Those two are unbelievably fighting like actual aces!" "Yes, sir! They`re definitely on fire so far!" The second in command, Lieutenant Colonel Shani smiles. The pilot of the F-15E that Nicholas saved calls in and informs, "Base! All enemy attacking fighters above the city has been eliminated! Three shot down, while the last one bugged out!" "We confirmed! Good job, guys! Return to base and refuel! Two of our pilots out there needs your help!" The radar specialist complies, as the pilot responds, "Yes sir!" The F-15E and the three F-16s heads to their base for refueling. Cowens was in deep shock to see that the enemy forces are crumbling, because of the help from Nicholas and Aaron. 'How in the hell did that kid Nicholas learned to fly like this?!' Cowens thought, as his mind started to run. But he smiles, admits that Nicholas CAN be useful for once. 'Nicholas is some kind of kid that can make difference after all!' "Sir!" The radar specialist gets Cowens` attention. "Radar just picked up enemy attackers heading towards our base, about thirty miles away! Counting seven SU-25s!" "Call Nicholas or Aaron to deal with them!" Cowens complies, as the radar specialist nods, "On it!" "Aaron! Lets get these last three bombers! Becareful of your missiles usage, because theyre stealth bombers B-2s! And they can evade your missiles!" Nicholas calls Aaron through the radio, as Aaron replies, "Roger! I have three missiles in reserve left! Switching to guns!" Nicholas watches as Aaron closes in on a B-2, and fires his guns. The bullets from Aaron`s plane shreds the first B-2, and Aaron turns to the next one and demolishes another. Nicholas then finishes off the last bomber firing one missile from behind and stopped the enemy bomber squadron. Aaron yells, "WHHEEEWW YEAH, BABY! LET`S GO!" "Don`t get too cocky, Aaron!" Nicholas warns him, telling him to keep his cool. Nicholas then called to the air base, "All enemy bomber eliminated!" "Good job, Nicholas! But the missions not over yet!" Cowens calls, as Nicholas asked, "Whats up?!" "The enemy sent seven SU-25s towards our base! Return to the base, and provide cover, out!" Cowens informs, as Nicholas knows that the enemys putting up a fight. Nicholas looks onto his planes controls fuel gauge shows sixty-seven percent full, five hundred and sixty-nine bullets and three missile left, and no damage. Nicholas calls back and said, "I`m still good to good, sir! Ready to engage enemy attackers!" "Alright! Finish the job, Nick!" Cowens said to him, as Nicholas replies, "Roger that!" Nicholas turns to Aaron and asked him, "How much ammunition you have and fuel, and if it took any damage?" Aaron looks around, and calls back, "I have four hundred and fifty-two bullets and two missiles left! I got seventy-three percent of fuel, and zero damage! I`m ready for some more, bro!" "Alright!" Nicholas nods his head with a smile. "Let`s go!" "Roger that, bro!" Aaron replies. They head back to defend the air base from the enemy second wave. Aaron looks onto the radar, and spots two enemy aircraft heading towards them. "Nicholas!" Aaron calls, "I picking up two enemy jets heading our way!" "Okay! Watch out if it`s an ace!" Nicholas warns, as both Aaron and Nicholas scans the skies above Canterlot. Aaron turns to his two o`clock, and spots two Fighters heading towards him and Nicholas. The Typhoon heads towards him, while the SU-35 heads to Nicholas. "There they are, Nick!" Aaron calls out, and said, "I`ll deal with them! You head back to defend the base!" "Its too dangerous, Aaron!" Nicholas complies, but Aaron recalls, "Just let me deal with them. They maybe top ace, but I can read them like a book! Besides, you got us into this, but Im welling to protect Flurry Heart and the others as bad as you do!" Nicholas looks at him, knowing that Aarons putting his life on the line, understands that hes determined to keep his promise for the Princess he has a crush on. "Alright, bro!" Aaron`s plane rolls to the right, as Aaron prepares to engage the enemy fighters. Nicholas turns his plane and continues to the base to fight off incoming second wave. Aaron watches and sees his step-brother vanishes behind the cloud. Aaron turns his focus onto the incoming enemy aircrafts heading towards him. He slides his helmets glasses on, and breathes calmly. He grins to the enemy planes, "Alright, you vulturous bastards! Its between you two and me!" Seeing this, Shadow looks with awe as he sees the lone aircraft challenging him and his wingman in a two-versus-one dogfight. Dimitri said to Shadow, "Sir! The enemy aircraft`s challenging us, head on!" "Let him fight me, Dimitri! You go after the other one!" Shadow grins, finally found his match in a dogfight. Myatt explains everything about Nicholas being determined to protect the anthro-ponies he cared about and Nicholas and his step-brother wanted to fight, and he added that Nicholas and Aaron had experiences on fighter jets from their fathers that served in previous wars years back. The Mechanic ran up to them and shouts out, "ENEMY ATTACKERS CLOSING IN!!" Flurry and Myatt looks up away from the air base, and sees seven enemy planes heading towards them. Myatt yells, "PRINCESS, GET IN SHELTER!" Flurry ran in the hanger, and saw Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, and Princess Celestia standing there. When she looked back up, she seen two missiles coming from the left side, and made direct hit on two of the SU-25s. The one aircraft appeared, and attacked two more of the SU-25 jets with machine guns. It was the ASF-X Shinden II. "Its one of ours!" The pilot of the Strike Eagle cheers, seeing the enemy aircrafts splitting in two groups of two. "Yeah! Go getem boys!" Rainbow Dash yells, pumping her fist once with joy. Flurry smiles, watching Nicholas or Aaron attacking the enemy planes attacking the base. On the Shinden II, Nicholas calls onto the base and said, "Commander Cowens! Use your base defense!" Cowens complies, "Roger that, Nick! Becareful flying into friendly fire!" Nicholas acknowledge, "I`m aware of it, sir!" Cowens turns to his defense specialist and commands, "You heard the kid! Active the surface to air defenses!" "Yes sir!" He said, as he press the switches to active air base`s defensive weapons. After Brigadier General Cowens calls for activation of the anti-air defense system, Cowens calls to Nicholas, "Kid! Keep your eyes around you, and becareful! Our base defense systems` capable to stick to any targets, and would accidently hit you!" "Roger that, sir!" Nicholas complies, as he got back to re-focus on fending off enemy attack planes. He looks on his gauge, and sees he has one missile left, and five hundred and twenty-four bullets remaining. And no damage so far. He got behind one of the enemy attack aircrafts, and shreds him with his machine guns. He said, "Alright! Two enemy attackers left!" "You`re doing really good, kid!" Cowens calls, and Nicholas was about to say something. But a sudden buzz sounded. Nicholas looks on his gauge, and warns enemy missile is heading straight for him. Looks to his right for a second, and saw a missile. He evaded it. Nicholas looks behind him, and saw an enemy SU-35 on the tail of his plane. Got him on his tail, Dimitri said, "I got you now, you lil punk!" "Shoot!" Nicholas stressed, and tries to shake him off as he calls onto the base. "I got an enemy boogie on my six oclock! And Im trying to get him off!" "Hang in there, Nick!" Cowens responds and informs, "Allied reinforcements will be here ETA thirty seconds! Don`t even worry about the enemy attackers, allied defenses will try to deal with the rest!" Nicholas nods his head and complies, "Roger that!" Nicholas goes up to the skies, and tries to keep the enemy fighter on his back away from the base. He got to five thousand and eight-hundred feet in the air. Nicholas turns back at the enemy SU-35 and said, "Let`s dance, you enemy scumbag." Dimitri keeps the enemy in range in front of him, as he sighs, "You`re mine now, you lil punk!" Nicholas tries to do something, knowing that he kept on shaking him, but no luck. He then realizes that the ASF-X Shinden IIs are also maneuverable, and can do any types of moves. He had the idea stroke in his head. "I got it!" Nicholas said, as he increase the planes` speed and use his heels to lift the jet engine rotation, and pulls on his joy stick. Right Dimitri`s about to pull the trigger, Nicholas increase thrust, and pulls the nose of his plane upwards, doing a cobra maneuver. Dimitri was amused. "Interesting! Trying to outmaneuver me?" He grins, as he copies what Nicholas` doing. He and Nicholas are flying side-by-side during Cobra Maneuver, and closes onto eachother. 'Come on, baby! Come on!' Nicholas thought, as he turns his eyes onto the enemy next to him, as hes about to get one shot on what hes doing. As the enemy got in range, Nicholas shouts, "NOW!" He lets go of the paddles, and pulls up immediately before the next reacts. "W-what the hell?!" Dimitri stutters, seeing the enemy did, in fact, not only outmaneuvered him, he outplayed him just like that. Nicholas got behind him as the enemy stops his maneuver. Dimitri tries to get behind him, but was too late. "Fox two!" He yells out, firing the missile at the plane, only it hits the middle of it`s wing. Feeling defeated, Dimitri sighs angrily, "I`m not going down like this!" He launches the flares, trying to blind the enemy, and turns away. Nicholas was a bit blinded by flares, and he looks to see the enemy`s no longer in front of him, seeing that he was forced to withdraw from the airspace. Nicholas took a sigh of relief, knowing that he defeated one of the enemy ace pilots in a dogfight in his first flight. He tones in the radio and calls to the air base, "Enemy fighters defeated, sir! Whats the report of the base?" Cowens calls back in reply, "All enemy attackers has been shot down by our defenses! Mission is complete!" But Nicholas calls and informs, "Not yet! My brother`s fighting the other enemy ace out there! Coming in for landing to re-arm and refuel!" "Okay! Roger that, kid!" Cowens calls in to comply, as Nicholas returns to the air base to hurry to re-arm and to get back to help his brother. //-------------------------------------------------------// Aaron vs. Schnitter //-------------------------------------------------------// Aaron vs. Schnitter About fighting the enemy ace Schnitter, Aaron becomes even more focused up in the skies since taking to the skies with Nicholas, after they go separate ways to fend of enemy attack to Canterlot and the nearby air base. Now, Aaron is fighting by himself as he goes head-to-head dogfight with the enemy ace. Aaron and the enemy ace circles around up in the skies, about seventy yards away from eachother. Aaron and Shadow Blade looks onto eachother, showing the rivalry between them just felt intense. "Alright, scumbag." Aaron said to himself, "It`s you and me!" "Let`s see how well that pilot can fight!" Shadow grins, as he turns his Typhoon as he heads to the enemy pilot head-on. Aaron turns to face him as well. As they got in gun range, Aaron and Shadow fires their planes guns at eachother, only Aaron took small hits. But Shadow took six or five bullets on his plane, four on the left wing, and two around the cockpit. The pilots flew past eachother. Shadow and Aaron exchange glares. Shadow`s shocked to realize that the pilot, is a boy. Shadow looks around, seeing bullet holes on his planes wing and side of his cockpit. He also knew that in same time while going head-to-head against that pilot, didnt take any amounts of hits. "How did he avoid getting shot to the cockpit? And who`s that boy?" Shadow said angrily, knowing that he barely hit the enemy, but he has instead. His mind clicked with a thought, wondering, 'Is he some type of "super-pilot"?' Getting hold of his grip, Shadow became angrier, frustrated that he took some scratchs for the first time during his military career. "Of all the aerial combat!" He yells at himself, "That pilot just outfight me?! Give me a damn break!" Aaron looks back, and see the enemy pilot turns his plane back to face him, he turns back at him, as he increases his speed. "Alright, you S.O.B!" Aaron said, "Come on and let`s go again!" Seeing that he`s coming at him; challenging him, Shadow grins, "Oh, you want to go again, huh?! Fine by me!" He thrusts at him head-on. As they`re about to get in gun range, Shadow fires. But this time, Aaron fires a missile at him. Shadow, shocked and scared, immediately avoided getting a hit by his missile. After evaded the missile, Shadow and Aaron flew past each other, as their eyes connected at eachother in slow motion. It was intense glares they shared for a split second. After they separate, Shadow was shocked of the pilot hes fighting against, it was a kid. A human kid Piloting a jet and fought like hes an ace. "How can this be?!" He urges in shock, "A kid flew in a dogfight, and managed to keep on coming at me with all he got?!" Then, it clicked. The young pilot he looked closer in his head, he can tell that he`s autistic, and he can learn quickly. The pilot (Aaron), to him, is like a 'super-pilot'. "Is he some type of pilot that never flew before, but handles things quickly?" Shadow shook with shock. But as he got hold of his state that he had for the first time, he felt his rage increases to unprecedented level, beyond outrage. "HOW CAN A KID CAN TAKE A SUPERIOR ACE?! HOW DARE HIM?!" He yells in state of rage, as he turns back and sees the pilot is heading back to the base. Vowing to get his vengeance, hes not gonna allow some type of kid pilot to get away when he humiliating him. "Youre gonna pay, you little punk!" His wingman, Dimitri Asulf, calls onto him, "Shadow! It`s too dangerous to engage the enemy with only you out there! Turn back!" But Shadow refuses, as he turns off his radio and focus on taking his victim out. Aaron heads back to base, as he felt his anxiety rises to a high level that hes about to lose focus on the enemy hes fighting. Aaron felt his hands shaking onto the controls. Aaron slightly was breathing rapidly, as he tries to get himself together. "Stay calm, Aaron!" He said to himself, "Stay calm!" He mind went to think of Flurry Heart, whom he promised to come back to and keep her and her loved ones safe. He got a grip on himself, and took a deep breath. He turns back and sees the enemy`s coming at him, refusing to leave him alone. Aaron knows that to get the best of his enemy, is to lure him to the base defenses, and hope it can get him overwhelmed. "Come on, you scavager!" Aaron said. "Ill make this interesting to you if youre coming at me! Let`s see how tough you really are!" Aaron switches channels to the air base and calls, "Commander Cowens! Im bring in the Schnitter over the base! Im gonna try to lure him there, and use the defenses with all you got!" "Okay, kid!" Cowens complies, "I see that youre handling him like hes nothing! Good work, keep it up out there!" "Copy that, sir!" Aaron replies, as he increases thrust to the base, as he looks back to see the Schnitter tries to keep up with him. Shadow follows his foe, as he snarls with anger, "You`re not getting away from me, you little boy!" He increases thrust to chase after his prey, vowing to shoot him down not matter what it takes. Back at the air base, standing in the hanger, Flurry Heart sees Nicholas returns and got out of his fighter jet, as she runs to him. She ask him, "Nick! Where`s Aaron?!" Nicholas turns to her and said, "He`s up the skies, facing the enemy ace by himself!" Hearing this, Flurry Heart became concerned for Aaron. She then said, "But it`s too dangerous to face the Schnitter on his own! You have to get back up there!" "Dont worry, Princess Flurry Heart." He acknowledged. "Ill be heading back up as soon as possible. I`am not leaving my brother up th-" But then, Shining Armor looks up to the skies and sees two more fighters soaring above Equestrian skies, shouting, "There`s two of them up there!" Everyone looks up, and sees the one fighter jet is running from the other. Nicholas knew that was Aaron and Schnitter. "It`s Aaron and the Schnitter!" "Whats Aaron doing, Nick?" Princess Cadence asked him, as he said, "Im thinking Aaron`s trying to get where he wants him, and strike back at him. Aaron sure does have the guts to face the enemy ace!" "Thats right, son!" Sergeant Myatt said, which he smiles. "I also believe that your brother can take the Schnitter down. Schnitter maybe the feared ace, but hes no match with Aaron as far I see. Aaron and you done a hell of the job out there. But as far as Im not concerned, Aaron has a good fighting chance on any enemy aces comes in his way, which I can feel hes determined to take on any enemy aces like Schnitter, like now." Princesses Cadence asked Myatt, "But you think Aaron can succeed?! Schnitter what I heard is one of the world's deadly ace pilots." Sergeant Myatt then exclaims, "However, the Erusean ace has his flaws before: confusion and anxiety. And it seems Aaron is able to use his own skill as his advantage, and get him where he wants him there. Aaron will beat the dreadful ace, and I believe in him, as I did believe in Nicholas here!" Nicholas agreed what he stated, as he turns and looks up to Aaron fighting the enemy ace. Flurry Heart place her hands together as shes praying, and sighs, "Aaron my love! He mutters, and turns back to see the enemy ace sticking behind him. He grins angrily, "Come on, you bastard! I`m giving you something to remember for messing with me or anyone around me!" As Shadow tries to get a lock on Aaron, his cockpits alarm went crazy, warning him a missile approaching him. "What?!" Shadow irks, as he tries to move his plane out of the way of the oncoming missile. It missed him. But another missile approaches him, and he dodges it. However, his plane took a minor scratch on him right wing. Shadow Blade looks onto his planes damaged wing, stunned. "How...How did I get that damn scratch!" Shadow growls, as he turns to the pilot and yells, "You`re going to pay!" Aaron tries to think of something to get him in his sights or outmaneuver him. Aaron has an idea, as he pulls up his joy stick, and gains altitude to the skies. And he increases little more thrusts of his plane, hoping his the ace`s plane would stall, and then try to get him on his tail. Seeing his prey going upwards, Shadow Blade wonders, 'What in the hays he doing?! Is he trying to lure me to something?' At that moment, his mind went blank, as he felt something in his head made him snap. He felt his rage increases for the first time in his life, since fighting bullies. Aaron yells furiously, as he looks at the ace straight to his eyes. Shadow Blade can see the Piloting looking back down on him. For the first time in his career in the military, he felt fear. "Wha...Whats he doing?!" He mumbled, confused of what hes thinking. Giving the the enemy an answer, Aaron pulls the joy stick back, and pushing the petals downward as his jet turns to face the Schnitter. Aaron quickly switch his weaponary to guns. "ARRRGGGGHHHH!!!" He roars angerly, while he pulls the trigger at the enemy ace, at his planes right engine intake. The right engine explodes, as the remaining engines operational. Taking damage from the intake, Shadows in total shock of how it just went down, as he passes his opponent. He knew that for the first time taking to the skies, he managed to put up a helluva fight in the airspace. He also felt that his plane cant take it anymore on fighting. "H-how...could this...be happening!" Shadow mumbles with fear and shock, realizing that his rival just outfought and outskilled him in a dogfight. His first ever defeat in aerial combat. "I can`t let it end like this!" Shadow said to himself, as he pulls out of the airspace and withdrew from the battle zone. Aaron then snaps back to his original self, and lowers his planes thrust and gear to settle down. But, from hundred miles from Canterlot; above seven thousand feet up in the skies, a group of Lendian bomber squadron of nine TU-95 Bears and three B-2 Spirits were escorted by two Fighter Squadrons; one with seven Mig-33s from Belka (Purpur 7th Air Division 65th Tactical Fighter Squadron), and one with five SU-35 Super Flankers and one Typhoon from Erusea (Albireo 26th Air Force 1st Fighter Wing 1st Fighter Squadron). Leading the Albireo Squadron, is an anthro pegasus colt named Shadow Blade. Shadow Blade has hatred towards Celestia during and after the invasion of changlings, and for not saving his beloved family. When he moved to join Erusean Air Force, he became one of deadliest pilots ever lived since the start of the war. He pilots the CFA-44 Nosferatu, Estovakias latest jet used in Emmeria-Estovakian war, T-50 PAK-FA, and EF-2000 Typhoon. He prefers air superiority and multi-role jets. He was rumored to be the only pilot to ambushed and attacked one of the allied forces fleet single-handed, and left no survivors that time, killing them with multiple bullets as they abandoned their ships. He was feared ace pilot known as 'Schnitter', or Shadow Reaper. While escorting the bomber squadron, he puts his fighter jet in auto-pilot mode, and pulls out his booklet and reads the last part of the chapter. He mainly enjoys reading action and adventure stories in his spare time, as well listening to music, mainly heavy metal. "Shadow!" His wingman, Dimitri Asulf, called him. "How`re you so far, comrade?" Shadow smiles and replies, "Nothing much, just reading the last part of the chapter." He and Dimitri were like brothers since they first met. They shared a bit of some other stuff they have, mainly music and books. But they also shared some blood they prey upon their victims in aerial combats. "Ah, I see!" Asked Dimitri, as Shadow smiles and recalls, "You got that damn right? Let`s screw shit up, Albireo!" "Roger!" His squadron responded, as they break from the strike group, and dives down to engage any targets he sees. 'Finally!' Meanwhile back at Canterlot in the orphanage, Nicholas was asleep. Aaron got up early out of the entire house hold. Aaron looks out the window, seeing the sun rising up from behind the moutains. It was a beautiful clear skies today. Aaron decided to go out for a jog by himself, but Nicholas got up and sees Aaron up. "Hey, Aaron!" Nicholas nodded as he rubs his eyes. Seeing Canterlot on radar, Shadow spots military forces in and around the city. "Alright, Albireo!" He calls to his squadron, "It`s time to show no mercy on those arrogant S.O.Bs! All weapons on and Engage at will!" "Roger!" His wingman complies, as they fan out to engage enemy targets. "Dimitri, stay on my wing in case if there`s any enemy fighters out there!" Shadow calls to his wingman, as he replied, "Roger that, comrade!" Shadow looks down towards Canterlot, smiling evily with pride as he thought of giving Celestia a message. 'Its war, Celestia!' He thought with hatred, 'Its war from the time my family passed!' As they arrived home, they see a military transport trucks coming through their lane, and they moved aside to let them pass as they walk up the door. However, the trucks stop across the street in front of the neighbors` house, and troops dismounted the trucks. This brings concern to Nicholas and Aaron, as they looked at each other. "Whats going on here?" Aaron asks his friend, as Nicholas response was, "I dont know." The soldier turns to the boys and asks, "Where are you two heading?" "Were about to go inside the house, whats going on, sir?" Nicholas asks the soldier, as he and Aaron enters their house for a moment, but want to know what`s going on. The soldier said to them, "You guys need to pack up and get everyone out of the house, ASAP! We`re being attacked by Lendian forces along with Belka and Erusea!" Hearing this, the boys immediately ran into their house, calls the manager and informs him that the military is here to evacuate, giving him details. After they warned him, they race upstairs to their rooms and pack up their clothes, wallets, and their iPods and cell phones. They raced outside to abandon the orphanage, and sees the line of anthro ponies scared, and horrified of the attack coming from the enemy`s side. Among them anthro ponies is a unicorn mare Minuette. She turns to Nicholas and Aaron and asks, "What`s going on, here?" As they`re about to give an answer, they hear roaring noise overhead. They look up to the skies, and saw two SU-35s soaring above. The soldier then yells, "EVERYONE, TAKE COVER! WE`RE UNDER ATTACK!!" He then pulls the rifle out and points upward to the skies from the incoming fighter jets from enemy forces. The soldier then orders, "GET EVERYONE OUT OF HERE!! NOW!" The other soldier shouted, "MOVE QUICKLY, EVERYONE!" Fearing for the attack, the Anthro ponies did as they were told, as they jump onto the transports. The Manager yells at Nicholas and Aaron, "Boys! Get in!" Nicholas and Aaron jumps up to the truck where the manager is on. Minuette and here friends got on the truck with the boys and their manager, and the soldier climbs on board and checks if that`s everyone/everypony. "Are we missing anyone?!" The soldier asked the passengers, as they nods their heads 'no', and he calls out the driver of the transport truck, "Okay! Were good, lets get the hell out of here!" The truck takes off. As they drove away from the house that Nicholas and Aaron live with the manager, the house suddenly got bombed from the jet`s missile, killing the others behind them. They watch in horror, seeing that they got caught on fire and shrapnel cuts through them. "Did...Did you guys...See that?!" Twinkleshine, Minuettes friend, mumbles with horror. Nicholas then sighes, "Its war." "What?!" The group shuns, looking at him. Nicholas stood up and replied with anger, and in same time, horror expression, "It`s the beginning of the war! On Equestrian soil!" Up in the skies, Shadow Blade watches his teammates bombing the hell out of Canterlot along with military forces, giving an evil and crazed smile. He then calls out, "Alright, Albireo 3 through 6! Continue pound at them, and leave nothing there with the allied forces down there!" "Copy that!" They complies, as they continue to target any military presence in and around the city. Shadow turns to his wingman and said, "Dimitri, I want you to follow me! We`ll find any fighters and hunt them down one by one!" "Roger, Albireo lead!" He replies, as he stick to his flight lead to find any allied fighter jets to shoot down. As the two pilots looks onto their radars, Dimitri spoted five fighters (four F-16s and one F-15E) on his radar. "Shadow!" He calls his flight lead, "I picked up five fighters heading towards our squadron attacking the city in low altitude, in vector 091!" "Lets show them what were made of, Dimitri!"
