Deep, unending darkness.
Crushing, cold, confusing, and chaotic darkness.
Feels like home.
My name is Bloodwing. Ironic, considering that I usually take the form of a unicorn.
I'm stuck as a statue.
They told me that I would never escape.
They left me buried in the forest.
Those blasted Alicorns...
They were wrong.
No prison holds ME!
After all, Blood and Bone..
Cannot be held in stone.

Soon... so very soon... I'm nearly free...

"Hmm..."
I think I feel the presence of a spirit... Possibly a chaos spirit. This is good, I can regain my power from it. Now... Oh, it's talking...
'Strange. I wonder if it's-'
"Silence, Chaotic one..."

(Discord's POV)
So I was enjoying an afternoon of hunting for some ancient relic or another (Courtesy of Celestia) when I felt a strange magical imbalance. Now, mind you, I know ALL about magical imbalances, and while I cause many a few, this one was most DEFINETLY not my doing...
"Strange... I wonder if it's some kind of-"
'Silence, Chaotic one.'
Now THAT got my attention. Not many beings could enter my mind, let alone SPEAK to me through it...
"Who are you?"
'You do not know already? My my. Celestia really keeps her secrets...'
I snapped my talons to try and find the being who spoke to me telepathically, but nothing happened. Alarmed, I then realised that I was no longer floating.
"W-what the..."
'Your magic is useless here... This is MY domain. In fact... I want your magic for myself...'
Nobody heard the screams of pain echo across the forest as the spirit of chaos lost his life...
*CRACK*
"Free at last... Now..."
(Bloodwing's POV)
I have consumed a spirit of chaos. Discord, that was his name. His memories... Useful. I can't wait to see... 'My dear Fluttershy' ... After all... 'I' haven't seen her in quite some time...
With a flash, I transformed into 'Discord'. I found the artifact he was looking for and set about cleaning up after myself. I remade my statue, the one of me in my most well-known form. That of a simple unicorn. The real Discord's body formed into the stonework. My job complete, I warped to 'Canterlot'. Ugh.
I hate Canterlot.
