Twilight vs. Evil Dead
Chapter 2: The Possession
Previous ChapterChapter 2: The Possession
The ponies and dragon had all gotten unpacked and were ready to relax. The weekend was going to be a nice, fun, relaxing weekend, or so they had been under this impression. None knew what was really in store for them.
“Hey, Dashie, like this necklace I got for Twily?! I think she’ll like it, don’t you?!” An overactive pink mare questioned her friend once her marefriend left the room.
“Pinkie Pie, you know I’m not one for fashion,” Rainbow Dash paused, then added, “Though, it does look like it’d suit her. You should surprise her with it.”
“I totally should! Omigosh, thank you Rainbow Dash! I’m going to do that like right now!” The pink mare spoke quickly.
“Yeah, you go do that,” the cyan mare went unheard as the pink mare had already dashed out. She sighed and went into the room she and Fluttershy would be staying in. The cabin had just enough bedrooms. Giving her marefriend a quick kiss on the cheek, the two mares laid on the bed, and cuddled, taking their minds off of the previous month’s troubles.
Pinkie had placed the necklace in a small box and sat down on a loveseat in the hallway containing all the rooms. All she had to do was wait for the lavender alicorn to exit their room. As soon as she heard the door open, the pink mare pretended to be asleep.
It was the small box that piqued Twilight’s attention. She quietly sat next to her seemingly asleep marefriend. She decided to use her hooves to obtain the box, so as not to wake her beautiful mare. When her hoof brushed Pinkie’s fur, the pink mare dropped the facade.
“Stealing from the blind, huh?” She inquired.
“What?” Twilight had managed to ask.
“Nevermind, let’s just open it and see what it is,” Pinkie then spoke excitedly.
“Uh, okay…” Twilight just agreed.
As the pink mare opened the box, Twilight gasped in surprise at the pendant. “Oh, it’s beautiful! Thanks Pinkie!” She said as she put the necklace on.
“Aw, you’re welcome, my little star.”
Rarity was at the little desk in her room, drawing a sketch for her next design, when the pencil she was using started going berserk. She had no control over it, until the window shutter slammed open. She look back at the drawing and found it resembled a burnt face.
Then, something outside grabbed the unicorn’s attention. She trotted outside to check it out. Wandering too far, she tripped on a branch, or at least thought she did. Somehow, a twig had wrapped itself around her hoof. The same started happening with all of her hooves as the forest came alive. After several moments of struggling, she remembered she could use her magic. Using it to get herself free, she started running back to the cabin. She reached the door and found it was locked. She started screaming and banging on the door. She tried using her magic to unlock the door, but that proved ineffective. Just as she was about to break a window to get in, Twilight opened the door. Rarity rushed inside, and shut and locked the door.
“Rarity, calm down, tell me what happened.”
After several minutes, Rarity calmed down, but still would not recount what happened. By this time, everypony was in the livingroom of the cabin. Suddenly, a trapdoor that nopony noticed bursted open. After exchanging glances, Rainbow Dash went down to check it out. After about two minutes of her not returning, Twilight nervously followed the pegasus to ensure she was safe. Using her horn for light, the princess glanced around. Suddenly, a rainbow-maned pegasus grabbed her from behind.
“What the hell, Rainbow Dash, you scared me. And everypony else, for that matter.” Twilight gave her friend a stern look.
“Sorry. Though, you should’ve seen the look on your face! Priceless!” The other mare snarkily replied.
“Whatever, let’s just hurry up and check it out.”
The two mares checked it out, finding a chainsaw and a single action shotgun next to a dagger and a book looking like it was made of flesh. Shortly thereafter, Rarity starting spasming in midair. All of the sudden, she lunged at Starlight, injuring the unicorn. Once she was subdued, she was locked in the cellar. Though, it was obvious to the mare, or rather the demon possessing her, that she wouldn’t stay like that for too long.
Author's Note
I wrote this chapter at the library while listening to Megalovania. It really got me in the mood for writing horror. Anyway, let me know what you think. This chapter will definitely go down as one of the hardest to write due to trying to capture the characters in the actions of the movie. Comment and critique, but please be kind.
