A short walk later, and he was standing at the door of Braeburn's house. A brisk knock on the door, and hoofsteps were heard within his small abode. The Next Day
The sun softly shone through the windows of Braeburns house, and the birds chirped hapily outside. His face had been wiped clean and there was a cinnamon bun on a small table beside the couch with a note under the plate. Solace sat up, the blanket crumpling to the side of him. He moved over and moved the plate off the note, picking it up and reading it.
"Mornin' Solace! Or afternoon, depending on if you're a morning person or not. Anyway, I've headed off to the corral for work. We have to medicate a couple of our cattle and then continue training our new sheepdogs for work.
