You may be thinking what my story is. Honestly... I don't really care to tell my story. What's that? Well, I mean if you want me to that bad. My friend just begged me to tell it. Say hello. (...). Yeah, she's not much of a talker. Well considering... just never mind. Let's get on with the story. 1 Month Earlier "So, Mr. Tango. About these uh..." He paused. "...Voices. When have you started hearing them?" He waited for a response. "Well. It started about 3 days ago. I was cleaning around the house when my ears started to ring." I lay there staring at the ceiling. I went back into my mind. I was vacuuming when I heard a loud ringing. I didn't mind it as it had always happened every so often. It stopped. I heard something. Like whispering. I asked if anyone was there. A feminine voice answered, "Uh, hello?". "Now, do you think this is happening because of loneliness. If you are lonely you should make some friends." He wrote down some words on his notepad. "I do have friends!" He sat in complete silence. "Only... one though." He wrote down some other things. He levitated the pencil back to his coffee table. "She understands me. What I go through. She feels the same." I sighed. I just wanted to see her. The only problem was that... she was in my head. But she is not derived from my thoughts and actions. I know she is sentient, but not from my sentience. She is a whole different person. I know she's out there somewhere. "So, she hears voices too?" He levitated the pen and clicked it. "She does. She hears my voice." He scribbled things down. "Ah I see. So, she is the voice in your head." He raised an eyebrow. He was right. "Yes... she is the voice in my head." I closed my eyes. How's therapy going? A voice said. "Great. I guess. How are you doing?" I looked up at my forehead. Great as well. I haven't decided if I should go to therapy or not. I might lose a telepathic friend if I do. The therapist just shook his head and finished writing. He clicked his pen. "Well, I can see you're friend is talking with you." He said. "Yeah, she is. She's deciding whether or not to go to therapy." He nodded his head. "Yes, therapy will help. Ahem... So, do you have any affectionate feelings towards this voice." I could feel my face heat up and flush. "N-no. She's my friend. It's not like that." He clicked his pen and wrote on the notepad. "Have you had any visual or physical contact?" He fixed his glasses. "Of course not. She's a voice in my head." There was silence. What do you mean? I'm real. "Sorry. I don't think that I was thinking straight." I cleared my throat. "Well, this concludes today's session. Goodbye Tango." He clicked his pen and set it down. He got up and walked away. Therapy was helping. And it was not at the same time. I wanted to get rid of the problem. But I didn't want to lose my first and most likely only friend. 1 Week Later... "So you say you've been having strange dreams the past week?" He waited for a response. I nodded. "Yes I have." "Do you mind telling me about these dreams?" He asked. "No, I don't really mind." I sighed heavily. "Begin please." He clicked his pen. I started by telling him about my day. Then I got to the dreams. I told him they we're recurring. It was dark. I could feel the cold and stone like floor. It felt so real, I could almost feel the breeze. I didn't know where I was. I was lost. Scared. I didn't know what to do. Each dream had been different than the one before. I had always died in these dreams... nightmares. I've drowned for so long that my lungs were raw. I've been burned alive, helplessly screaming in pain for someone to help as my fur burned away, and my skin melted. I've been skinned alive, by nothing but the wind. My limbs, have been decapitated. I've been tortured so many ways. But only to find out it was a dream in the morning. "Do you know the cause of these nightmares?" I shook my head. "No I don't. I really hope I find out." I patiently waited for him to ask another question or give me advice. "Well we could try some exercises. It might help ease the nightmares." I hesitated. If these nightmares are being caused by the voice. She'll be gone as well as the nightmares. So I had to find her as fast as I could. "Yeah. I'll do it. If it gets rid of these nightmares." He stood up. He walked up above me. He gently massaged my temples. He was right. It did ease my thoughts. Actually... I felt tired. I never realized *yawn* how tired I was. Man, I could've used some rest. I slowly closed my eyes. As I was closing my eyes, my peripheral sight caught a dark figure. I felt my body go limp. I woke up. There was nothing but darkness. I looked around, and saw nothing but a chair facing the opposite direction. I called out, "Hello. Is anyone there?" The chair slowly turned around. It was my therapist in the chair. "Why are you here?" I asked slowly sitting up. "To ease your-" He stopped. He started coughing. He coughed harder and louder every time. He made one big cough. Something flew from his mouth. It wriggled on the ground. It was a maggot. He looked at me in fear. Maggots started overflowing out of his mouth. He slowly became bony and lose his figure. His fur fell off and his body started decomposing. What was left was a pile of maggots and bones. "Did you... really think you we're safe?" I was shaking. "Did you think you could get rid your nightmares? My creations? Well, your life is about to be a living hell. Hahahaha..." Everything went black.
