I'm Velvet. Velvet Ombre. My mother is Crystal Prism, a pegasus that was born in Cloudsdale. I have a half-unicorn gene from my father as well, probably deciphering my appearance. My mother had me in Ponyville, and brought me to Cloudsdale, still in my little bundle, covering my horn she couldn't see, and my non-existent wings, and stood me up in the clouds, but then she saw. I had no wings, yet I didn't fall through. My horn was sparkling, and so were my hooves. Not with magic! With glitter. I was born with it, and the doctors thought that was the reason I could walk on clouds like a pegasus. So, years passed, and I'm twelve years old. I have a younger sister, Light Shift, and neither of us have our cutie marks. I go to school in Cloudsdale, and am rarely teased believe it or not. But then everything changed…
