Time 2:00 am class
A man in a brown coat and a black bowler hat. he started grading homework and marking tests. "Alllllrighty then!! since you have given me more then enough litter paper, I mean paperwork. You know what time it is?"
"Time to go home?" Aquamarine asked with a bored expression on the siren keeper's face.
"Time for you to stick it where the sun don't shine?" A green scarab beetle like Sigil asked behind his keeper, A boy named Geo.
"Time for you to stop watching those bad 'Ace the king' movies?!" Alexea shot off half cocked. Her chaos wild child giggling manacly over her keeper's head.
"No, And 'Ace is king' are classics. It's hands on workshop time. Sigils are more than Friends, Fighters and Equipment. They also can act as batteries to the most basic to the the most extravagant spell now we cannot have a caster work alone for this simple creation spell." The man in the bowler hat looked at a youth of fifteen. He was wearing silver gray slacks a white chest wrap with matching arm/fist wraps, A black long sleeve hoodie and violet vest. "So Daichi, I've eyed how you have a strong link with Alexea and John that why you will be joining them in this little exercise. And no this is not a request."
"Yes, Prof. Now get off my ear! Yow! That smarts." Daichi said rubbing his throbbing earlobe.
"Wuss.T'was just a pinch. You and your looks. Meh. Try not to bother nurse Honneysickle with any thing too minor okay?" The Professor teased.
The first part was drawing your seal which had to be done without the sigil's help. Next the positioning of the keys of power. (Foci, Power crystals, Sigil beast(s), ect.) Charging the seal. (Chanting, Meditating, Doing your nails, You know getting in your grove.) Syncing powers (basically a mind-meld without most the risk with almost all the reward.) then came the moment of truth: The casting. And that where class 213-B earned a C+ in epicness, a F in completion and an A+++ in going to hell in a hand basket.
The basic rundown went a little something like this; For the first few seconds things were going great. Then Que the freaky all seven students and two attending faculty started to glow with an otherworldly light. Then reality started to crack like a glass egg then fall into nothingness.
The Professor Professor summoned his Sigil, Spellcracker, and cast a hasty Protect while grabbing the stunned nurse. "Stay with your party and when all else fails..... scream like a baby."
the forms of the nine bearers of all ten attributes turned to orbs of multicolored light each faded into unconsciousness.
When Daichi woke up he was now on all fours and he was in the innermost sanctum of his mind's domain. To boot he felt a wicked throb over his right temple. This reminded Daichi of two things, (1) How much it now sucks to have failed first aid 101, TWICE. And (2) that he could really go for a box of mental tylenol.
"De-Angelo what is the time? De-Angelo?" Daichi asked a statue of a fallen angel with a set of ram's horns.
"Prove you are not some figment, Horse." The statue returned.
"Are you sure even in final form my proof will sting."
"By my final form I will be steadfast." De-Angelo said without fear.
"Polar Split (light, darkness)"
The statue morphed into a gray ball then spun and split into a black ball that formed into a Archfiend in heavy plate armor, And a white ball changed into a Serphyth in a flowing robe. "oy vey! did yu..." the angelic one cried. " ...haave tu cast s'haard?" The demon finished rubbing his side (for he had no wings.)
"Is that proof enough of what i say be true? Or are you hungry for more??" Daichi asked a shit eating grin plastered on his face.
"Yes sir! No sir!" Both entities saluted in unison.
" Now things may have gone to the crapper. But our first job is to get back to full Chi and full Heart."
The three worked like bees, Fixing this, Calibrating that and Reinforcing this that and the other. Thirty minutes past and they were done. The internal clock told him he should be asleep. But no that had to be wrong it had just been afternoon in class.
Just then an alarm went off. Some one or some spell was breaching his defences.
" We are being breached! All sigils on deck! This is not a drill! I repeat this is not a drill" Daichi glance in his mirror. I do look kinda like a horse only made of thread weave, But smaller maybe a cloth shire pony? That's way too hard to say. Oy boy I gots it thread pony no, Cloth pony.Yes that'll do that'll do nicely.

dreamscape=an hour before dawn-princess luna's pov
"that seems to be it for tonight." I sighed in relief. just then three doors slid into existence. now this was nothing new to me. what was odd was that there was a locking device with no keyhole only a slot big enough for a playing card and ten bizarre symbols printed on ten buttons. one door, in particular, drew me to it the dreamer's cutie mark was a white crescent moon encircled by eight golden triangles the black backdrop gave me chills. I have seen what becomes of those who lock themselves and I'll have my crown as breakfast if one pony steps down the path to darkness!
i stood in front of the strange black door. and I lit my horn. that seemed to be my first folly, my second, trying to break my ever increasing drop speed. the more I try to slow my descent the faster I fell. a trap? I don't know whether to be awed by its simplicity or be annoyed by its thoroughness. I tucked in my wings and started to freefall wheels slowly floated up and slowed my fall by breaking through them. Did I stop in the black pit? then an arch magus class sleep spell.
when I awoke I was in a small antechamber. there was one door and several pedestals each with an object standing upon them a plumed feathered quill, a textbook, a single shoe, a samurai sword, an old grungy hat, a tall candle.
the door was a solid block of mental bedrock. so were the walls, ceiling, and floors. solid, unbreakable.
in inspecting the collection revealed the objects were, in fact, keys and each was booby trapped. in my navy aura, I picked up the quill. I immediately regretted it. the door opened and a great flood of reverse thought entered the room. it swept me off my hooves and into a large room. in the room was a grand but simple table and on this table was a tri-mirror that one could see into from the seat far from the device.
the quill was gone or rather everywhere! I was inside it! determined not to be afraid I strode to the negotiator's chair. what I saw next can be summed up in two words: utter disbelief or nightmare moon.
"my, my, mmyyyy! the fates must be drinking to weave this turn of events, it's been far too long , ehh friend Lulu?"
"Thou are no friend of thine nightmare!! now tell us how thee live? the elements destroyed thee, I know it!"
"funny, mirth was your way, so was caring and honor."
"quite monster!!" I shouted. I felt my temper rise. but nightmare raised a minotaur-like Hand to quell me.
"who was it who came with fear, jealousy and bitter rage asking for help? who set the terms? who failed to split me off so my soul could return to whence it came? and I'm the Foul and oh so devious monster? oh, lulu I had no idea you were so heartless!" nightmare's face looked generally hurt. "besides I only wish now is to fulfill the talks that the pen token started. as the mind's master says 'the pen is mightier than any sword'."
"do thy swear it on the moon above?" I asked not knowing what answer I truly wanted, no meant she was she was some form of illusion. but a yes, a yes means she facing her dark alter ego!!!
"will do thee?" moon answered a twinkle burning in her turquoise slits the mare had for eyes.
"will I do. as long as you do too."
"then I see no reason we are not of accord, keeper of my sigil rune."
"if'n thou wishest to speak then you have my ear."
"I will speak plainest, I was your darkest want, I am now what you hide under your many masks. what you are beneath the lies and pretenses. I am your sigil beast. a guardian spirit forged from your own essence. though I was tainted I am now pure as dear friend snowdrop's winter blessing. or at least as pure as you'll let me be. as I said before my power springs from the darkness itself.
"and why should I grant you favor hmm? it was because of you I was banished for 1000 years. it was your birth that tainted my name."
`"why? why not admit that we are the same and different at once. I did my own penance. flaming honesty, bubbling laughter, gusty loyalty, earthen kindness, purist generosity, divine magic. they saved me from myself and shown me my error-est ways and for that, i thank them with all my missing heart."
"so you admit your heartlessness and thus making you a liar..."
"all born from the soul are heartless, that is just the way my kind are. I am no liar less YOU bare that twisted, twisted monitor." I in the mirror scolded.
"okay let us say I believe you miss Moon. you paid penance that begs the 100,000 bit question; WHAT.THE. HAY. DO. YOU. WANT?
"hmmm, good question."I mused a wide grin on her face's muzzle showing a row of pearly white daggers which were in truth the midnight mare's teeth that would make an orthodontist proud, and a great white green with envy.
"WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW?!!" an irate lulu.
"oh, poo-poo on you luna! I know. but after being dunked in laughter's spring I see the wonders of games! I'll give you three guesses. find out what I want. BUT be for the games begin I'll give you a hint for the price of a boon by your hoof. no boon no clue. fail to guess we start again, this time, tomorrow night. a fate I'm sure you wish to avoid. and the weaker you get the same goes for me. and before you blame old nighty nightmare moon for this my hoof...er hand as it was turned then tied."
"I love games but the stakes are rather high tell me first how do thou like being held as the puppet of another? instead of the one who pulls the strings?" luna quipped.
owch!! well, the truth will set you free. but if'n it doesn't hurt like a mother bucking flank shot! but still I deserve it my first actions were utterly deplorable.but that was then and this is now I'm a different mare. few as misguided as me get a second chance. this blessing I shan't squander.
"to be frank with you, my dear luna, ti's like sucking on a large steaming horseapple loaded with maggots. and I seem to be getting my just desserts. fitting, no? I had you in nearly unbreakable bonds. after all, it took the elements to sever yours. I'm afraid I am in similar straights and you keep the key in your very soul! boon if'n you please luna."
"the "forced game ploy"? very well played Moon, very well played indeed. I see you and raise you an agreement t all terms of said game as your boon." luna deadpanned wearing the royal poker face.
did I ever pull such a cute face? queeee! ahem, must control myself. if not for my own sake then hers. oh, she is just sooo scrumptious when lulu's serious. ah well back to my captor's game. "thank you keeper. now lets cut to the carrot in the cake. guess one, shoot."
"t'is the obvious option my magick? do you want my magic?" said a luna with a grin that mocked the Cheshire cat.
"I'm sorry 'your magicks' is not what I want. jolly good try, though. that leaves you with two chances to find out what I want do you wish another hint?" I laughed.
"no, nightmare save your false charity. my next guess is a form in the waking world. is it? yes, it is! it has to be. well your not going to be getting one!..."
"want not for a body. as you can see that has been provided me. this is my free clue it has to do with the heart something the monster discord earned. i only wish to gain the same courtesy.
"you.... you just want to be forgiven? that all by meee of all ponies?!! to pass this test i must forgive the evil mare i once was?? oh how ironic. oh, this dreamer has some balls and a load of gawl! tell me is that the answer?
"YES!!!YES!! YES! For if you forgive me my purpose will awaken in me. it will awaken with the power of 13,000 lunar cycles. the only reason I exist it to serve you princess luna, mistress of the night, goddess of the moon.
" IF what you say is true. I will test you with a sunlight spell 'dawn's breaking'." lulu's mock sun glowed with a golden light but I a mare born from the dark stood in the light for the first time in ages and I felt no need to quench it. "you are forgiven moon."
princess luna's pov
this makes as much sense as discord!! my spell meant to purge an evil heart. and what do I find but MY heart was being judged by my heart. but eh I've been fooled once so I sifted through the feelings all match my moon phase precisely. none before and avoid after than now. no deceptions were present.
then with a grin that can only be described as joyous. "I am forgiven and all that entails. oh, thank you!!! thank you!! thank you!" nightmare moon squealed like a foal who had been told hearts warming had come early.
just the mirror holding the image of the mare of shadows dissolved leaving the mare in the flesh.
"this room has served it's intended purpose. it would be foalharty to stay longer than is needed, my keeper. shall we be going?"
"take me on the safest path to the dream master,"I command. and she pulled a key without a single tooth out of her expansive bosom and tapped the key three times and the room itself rearranged into two halls a marble monkey's head rested above one hall. an Onix ram's head the other.
"curious, moon what do you know of this?" I asked moon after all more is safer, right?
a sad little smile crosses her face. "more than I can say to you. i'm afraid."
"what do you mean? come moon don't be that way! you can tell me." I chidded.
nightmare moon frowned almost a scowl. and sighed heavily. "I may be free form your

"we can ask just two queries and only ask twice. I beg you luna by your moon trust me with this task. after all though we stand apart we'll always both fall together. "
"we'll alway both fall" eh? i best watch my new ally. should there be a stumble the outcome could be castrophic! for both our sakes. "you may. my trust is in you. pray you don't give me reason for regret."
"head of marble i pose to you the question: if you were we and you were to ask the other if your path was the unsafest what would he say?"
"Diablo's was safest and mine most quickest." said not- deablo.
"are you Diablo oh, marble one?" nightmare crooned, no she was practically purring!
"yes." the white stone monkey.
"then you are the Liar! last answer you were not Diablo! come luna before they reset themselves." grabbing luna under her right wing nightmare moon halled luna bodily though the onix passageway.
"how you know?" was all I could say to moon.
"these are the traps tia had mix with some of our's and the fact I'm in here can mean only one thing they have a clam on both spirits of the shining sun and the darkest moon.we'll need to link in a new way if there is to be a chance."
soon we came to the end of the hall. ready to meet whet could strike fear into a nightmare goddess.

Daichi's mental core
Diachi had been practicing what his new mental form thus he was also practicing his new physical body. but the intruder, they must be sly but good! the first trap meant to discourage only gave them the power to conquer the next which was meant to be an unsolvable riddle. now two unwelcome guests at the door. well, last trick.
luna gazed at a marvel of a mind when nightmare moon blocked her path. "bite my flank if this is too easy. luna don't you find it strange all the power is running, but not even a guard to be found? no, he is in there I can sense it. let me flush him out his beasts have something we need! or at the very, least they promised me and the dark gets its due. send me on recon."
"yes, okay. but if you were to be injured how will you manage?" luna asked.
` "us sigil beasts are comprised of heart-matter thus if we're too badly hurt we returned to our keeper's rune. but that is a normal case because of our disconnect I need to be careful I could vanish to nothing if I take to much punishment. just in case I take the final blow, please now I was not in my right mind when we first met now I'm my true form I know you must hate me with a fury unrivalled, but I love you in all your flaws because your flaws help make me. goodbye, i hope we meet up soon."and with that, the mare in the moon dashed into the central sanctum.
nightmare moon's hooves clip-clopped over the flagstone she started to notice a numbness in her hooves after only a few steps. nightmare looked to see her lower legs partially encased in stone heeding something telling Moon what must be done to ensure survival the anthro alicorn took wing. right into a finely spun web of thread.
"no! i am caught! woe is i, who came for what was promised! may this be the end of the nightmare goddess? did she come ill equip to battle such a cunning foe? surely the master of this realm has pity on a poor foal?"
the bindings undid themselves and respun into a full-size pony plushie whose coat kept shifting between snow white and soot black.
"you've come far but this the rome of my mind and here I. AM. * GOD!*** prepare for the true fight begins now!" the plushie roared most excellently intimidating fashion. a monkey-like monster wreathed in a white veil of feathers I wore a simplistic robe of cream stitched with gold. the other was much more imposing plum armored minotaur with dragon's claws and instead of bull's horns, upon his head was a set of ram's horns.
nightmare's fingernails grew into talons and said talons grew a ball of pitch black energy. "I don't know and for the life, I share and to be frank what you want. I don't care one way or the other. I'm just here to make sure my keeper doesn't have to dirty her hooves. now nightmare barrage!"twenty black pony busts with burning crimson red eyes shot at the dreamer.
the power this sigil had in my space was simply intoxicating. the damage repaired itself diablo was aching for a brawl.
diablo have your fun. but only faint not return. you understand? yes, Daichi. I understand. the one with the horns proceeded to shred the midnight mare's previous attack. "congrats you, my dear kin have peaked our curiosity. may i have aq name or does 'that dark beast' suffice?"
"you must have forgotten your own manners and code. when asking a mare her name you must offer your own first."
"diablo."
"excuse me?"
"*huff* my name is 'diablo arch-fiend conscious'
"that wasn't so hard I'm; nightmare moon,the mare in the moon,bearer of the eternal night.

"let's cut to the meat of the matter. 'final form, midnight'" diablo materializing a small shield with a silver ram's head on the front.
"well if you insist. 'open alpha locks,midnight harvest'"a summoning circle slid its runes into place then burst into moondust leaving a beautiful scythe with a shining crescent moon blade attached to the end of a shooting star
with arms, in hand, they clashed blow after blow was struck but the demon and the nightmare drew even.
"we have reached a stalemate.we'll be stuck if one of us does not forfeit."
"this is whare typical I'd be the nice mon and let you go. but I'm having too much fun!!!"
" the I must ,good night!"
"moon wait. what would it take to keep playing?"
"I want the ritual to bind me to my keeper. and safe passage these mental corridors."
"done and done! now, can call your keeper hiding in the wings."
"how do I know this is not a trap set to ensnare my keeper?
"trust my lies, for they are the only truth I can bare. that I swear to luna goddess to all the dark ones," he said cheekily, the sound of a smirk in his voice.

"now you surely lie! she would....... oh, my, no! little brother 'final form, true fusion'."
a white ball emitting black smoke came from the center of the winged monkey and the arch-fiend faded into a black ball with white smoke. the balls spun closer and closer till their mass merged into one giant sphere billowing gray smoke.the mighty orb shrunk to nothing leaving a mix of both, only his wings were now black. "I am now De-Angelo keeper of the gate of here after. face me and feel your doom! solar plexus impact!"
a silver-white staff hit nightmare in the gut hard .
"call this match a draw and leave now and we will let you the key to my mind's dream-core. satisfactory? yes or no? after all De-Angelo does not fight dirty unless outmatched. nightmare moon, was it now? your keeper dream walked in a closed of mind that tells me a lot of both your potential but you yourself lack the cut and polish befitting such a gemstone in the rough. good morn and goodbye." the cloth doll pony.
"the moon! luna still needs to lower the moon!oh no no no NO!!! Moon you silly mare'wake'!" nightmare fading back into her keeper's mind and heart like so much pitch black molten wax. luna woke with a start soaked in her own sweat. she rose,"damn that banana, truffle, hay fries quiche Tia warned me but did I listen?",and made her way to her balcony to maintain the celestial cycle once more.
"nightmare i may be, but then what is i swimming in your soul and heart?" a unamused voice in the back of her skull.
"Moon??"
"Your one and only."
"Moon I've dealt with spilled minds and fractured minds but you take the cake. what are you?" luna asked bewildered.
"i am a construct of you at your most basic meant fight for my rune seal keeper, that would be you dearest luna.

a honey cream coated alicorn stallion and a young dragconuqus doe made of the most powerful monsters of the surrounding forest. were slumbering in a clearing that looked like it was ripped from candy land in the middle was a lake chocolate milk.
the blanket at the top the sleeping pair shifted and folded into an earth pony plushie complete with button eyes
"waky! waky! morning role calls or no foraging. that means hungry bellies. we're going by camp safety procedure so; name, age, allegiance, sigil beast final form.
"john, 15.7, balance,"a blind dragon with a set of weighing scales and white judges' robes appeared before the stallion.
"diechi, 16.2, light and dark." de-Angelo loomed over the cloth stallion.
"Alexia,14.5, *cough, cough* chaos *hack, whezze*"a knight in tarnished armor holding a yo-yo that ha seen better days.
the white alicorn offered a check up.but the doe waved it off with a paw.
"john under the states we're in we must conserve our power. now to breakfast all these sweets. now breakfast food by chaos. whhooo i shouldn't haaave doonnnnne that."
"alexia we need to get you help i sence the lack of order woven with happiness.come can you move? no? then get on my back."

fluttershy, the element of kindness and discord, lord of chaos were celebrating their daughter's betrothal with the newly extended family. suddenly the door bell rang * gnil-a-gnid* the backward notes echoing through the halls of the castle.
"I wonder who that could be? and at such an early hour?" Fluttershy asked over a bowl of oatmeal.
"could it be one of your friends with something urgent, mom?"came screw ball's reply.
"no, my little abomination we, that is me and your mother got a full circumstantial nothing-but-the-end-of-the-world-proof-vacation." discord growled. " Zanny will you get the door? and if it's not life-hangs-in-the-balance. I permit one,one distortion prank."
"gotcha, dad. Moonbeam wanta get away with reali-a-cide?" Zanny saluted his pop.
"only if my momma says yes. my daddy just doses not think a 'youngun' should mess with powerful magic .*huff*" wined moonbeam.
"it's okay with me you should make some happy memories don't worry about willie." said now Queen Trixie of the changeling empire. and iron will had not yet tied the knot with his buggy fiance wedding bells weren't so far off.
"yay!!" came from the two young half-breeds. they scampered down the hall the way only children can do. making good time they opened the door as saw what looked like the start of a bad joke' a guy alicorn, a draconequus doe and a rag doll walk to the house of discord.'

just then the door swung out and open.behind two diminutive figures. both had magic but vastly different the female if the lime green sundress was any indication. the other was male draconequus, only not.
"'ceasefire' now all attack power is neutralized. we need help for our ailing ally..."the pale stallion started to say.
"don't 'cha mean love of your life john."the doll butt in.
"Daichi!" the honey cream alicorn blushed a pastel red
"boys! I'm only*hack chough* gonna get sicker.*chough hack, hack*" alexia scold the two before things got bad.
"may we speak with the master of the manor?"Daichi asked.
"what if were it? hmm?"the male figure asked back.
"then give us you name, if'n you be so kind."john asked no glow on his horn.
"my name is nonya beeswax!" the tiny terror cackled.
"no, your name is Zanny prince of chaos. how about you miss care to be as kind as to tell me your name?"
"MOMMA!! HELP ME! screeched moonbeam running like the devil himself was nipping at her heels.
"thanks, princess moonbeam. now tell the master of the manor."
moonbeam skidded so hard she left flames in her wake. " zanny... in danger, visitors.....alicorn, colt...creapy doll...female Draco Malfoy, sick 'en getting sicker."and promptly passed ou on the spot.
discord dropped his spoon into his charms and oats cereal. "WHAT!?"
A MASSIVE power source and one one the god scale. a butter yellow pegasus mare and a fully adult daconequus stag.
"we are the masters of all who live here and they have mine and my husband's protection. now state the nature of your emergency?" the mare asked kindly but sternly.
"our friend, alexia has order poisoning and the wretched flu, to top it all off her anarchic manna collector on the frizts. any one of them would be a problem but together we need a miracle from Eirs."
the stag's face turned grim."come in. I'll do what I can."

fluttershy walk to the alicorn stallion."the worst of her fever has broken. but I must ask who are you?"
"I'm only a truly orderly person in love with a completely chaotic one. and now I can feel her strength normally a din now barely a peep. your husband is god tier chaos mage.but he is having trouble fighting the force that has laid claim to her. can I say my last peace now?"
fluttershy was taken aback at the young pony's words. he must care deeply for the doe draconequus almost the way she felt for discord. as Fluttershy was going to press her questioning a lady imp wearing a brown jumper and a baseball cap bounded out of surgery
"babel know a way! babel know a way! need blood mugic. sacrifice equal to wish! order equal to chaos. oh no Babel timer up!" and the wild lady imp poofed into a puff of brown smoke
"shy did you see that?it made me feel good and poofy. like a chocolate cotton candy cloud. but I 'll tell ya when I'm stumped, I'm stuck in a loop; remove order, mana restarts her mana converters and she loads up on order. mare oh, mare...."
"baroness get ready weapon form I'm about to do something dumb. forgive me censorrorus but you did the same once.'maddened overdrive'."
"maddened overdrive?? that is attributed based suicide. listen to me, think." Daichi the stuffed pony begged the john
"my mind is made master discord i offer my horn for her cure. now save my girlfriend's life. she is my precious spark of life and i'll do whatever it take that she is safe and happy. "and with that a majestic claymore greatsword and proceeded to chop off his own horn.
discord watched as the horn morphed into an orb of honey colored crystallized magic. "johnnn you've cut 70% of your personal permanent mana pool. the strain is starting to affect you .YOU MUST STOP,*NOW! *what would alexia say if you killed yourself saving her?"
"john let my claws ravish this order stone wth my astral choice."
"but sir? you don't have claws, you have hooves."
"A+ in observantness F in magic you winged mare you. summon 'Angello, the Seraphim of light' and 'Diablo, the arch-fiend of the darkness' appear!"
the angel and the demon spirits bow before their plush master.
"these are my conciouses the names are self-explanatory the demon is Diablo and the angel is Angello. now my beasts craft!
