A Talk At Sugarcube Corner
The only chapter, hopefully
As Pinkie Pie was sitting behind the counter at Sugar Cube Corner, she realized something.
"Mrs. Cake?"
"Yes Pinkie?"
"I'm bored."
"CODE RED! CODE RED! PINKIE'S BORED! CALL SOMEPONY! CALL THE POLICE! NO, CALL THE S.W.AT. TEAM!" Mrs. Cake screamed while running franticly around the back room looking for the phone.
She then heard a series of cries and frazzled looking Mr. Cake ran down the stairs.
"Honey, I just put the twins down for a nap. What could be so important that you would need to call the S.W.A.T. team?" Mr. Cake asked slightly annoyed.
"Pinkie's bored again, and you remember what happened the last time she was bored." Mrs. Cake said.
"Yeah, maybe we should just call Cheese Sandwich now, instead of letting things get out of hand." Mr. Cake said.
"Yeah. I'll go get the phone."
Mrs. Cake called Cheese Sandwich who, thankfully, was in town for Rainbow Dash's birthday party. Ever since the first time Cheese came to Ponyville that first time, he had been coming back for the past two years to help out with the party. Mostly as an excuse to see Pinkie again. He had liked her for a little while now, so, he decided to tell her. As Cheese walked into Sugar Cube Corner, he saw Pinkie behind the counter giving kids who looked to be about thirteen, vanilla milkshakes. One of them was a white filly with a light pink and purple mane, the other one, being a brown colt with a red-brown mane, and a small propeller hat. Pinkie gave the kids their milkshakes and they found a table and sat down. Cheese walked up to the counter to talk to Pinkie.
"Hey Pinkie!"
"Oh! Cheese! You're here! And Early. Wow!" Pinkie said in half excited half startled voice.
Pinkie had had a crush on Cheese Sandwich for a while. She wanted to tell him, but she was afraid of what he might say.
"Yup! Mrs. Cake called me over here and said that you were bored. Is this true?" He asked.
Before Pinkie could say something, the two kids who had bought the milkshakes yelled: MILKSHAKE RACE! 123 GO!" The kids proceeded to drink the milkshakes rather quickly. Then, after a few seconds the two fell to the floor and started screaming like crazy.
"Who are those two kids?" Cheese asked.
"Oh, those two? The filly's name is Sweetie Belle, and the colt's name is Button Mash. I think they're a couple, but nopony knows for sure yet. Hmmm that looks like a lot of fun." Pinkie said longingly.
"Okay then, two chocolate milkshakes, one for you, one for me." Cheese said.
"Okay, Mrs. Cake I need two medium chocolate milkshakes with extra whipped cream please!"
"Okay Pinkie, it's gonna take a little bit. The twins got to the blender and I still need to clean up." Mrs. Cake said.
"Hehe, okie-dokie-lokey!" Pinkie giggled.
Although Pinkie didn't know, Cheese loved it when she giggled like that. A lot.
Right then, the door opened and a certain rainbow maned pegasus walked in.
"Hey Cheese!" Rainbow said.
"Hey Dashie!" Cheese said.
Pinkie nearly lost it. Only SHE was aloud to call her Dashie, well her and Soarin, though they were fighting a lot more than usual. But the more she thought about it, Cheese always spent more time with Rainbow than her on his yearly visits AND he only came on RAINBOW'S birthday instead of her own. Instead of keeping it all in, Pinkie decided to loose it.
"WHY DON'T YOU TWO KISS ALREADY AND GET MARRIED WHILE YOU'RE AT IT! BECAUSE CHEESE SEEMS TO BE SPENDING A LOT OF TIME WITH! SO, IF YOU WANT YOU TWO CAN PLAN THE PARTY WITHOUT ME! BECAUSE I DON'T SEEM TO BE THAT IMPORTANT TO YOU! Pinkie yelled.
"You're right. We should go, bye Pinkie." Rainbow said.
As the two walked off, Pinkie's hair started to deflate. Sweetie noticed this, she got up and signaled for Button to come with her.
"Hey, are you all right?" Sweetie Belle asked carefully.
"What does it look like?" Pinkie said wearily.
"Okay, then we'll take that as a no." Button said in a rather sarcastic voice.
"What we should have said was, do you want to talk about it?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"Yeah." Pinkie said.
"So, what happened when you yelled at Rainbow and Cheese earlier? Button asked.
"I don't know what happened, I guess, I just felt a pang of jealousy wash over me." Pinkie said.
"Well, you know it's not all about you right? Sweetie Belle asked.
"Well, of course I know it isn't all about me, but, it just seemed so weird that Rainbow seemed to always wanted to talk to Cheese in private don't you know what I mean?" Pinkie asked.
"We understand why you would feel that way, but, we know why Cheese and Dash were talking so much. Do you want to know?" Button asked.
"Yes! Of course I wanna know!" Pinkie exclaimed.
"Good, now close your eyes and follow me." Sweetie Belle said.
By the time the group got there, Sweetie Belle and Button Mash were exhausted because Pinkie kept on getting distracted, even with her eyes closed.
"Okay, we're here!" An exhausted Button Mash panted.
"OOH can I open my eyes yet?" Pinkie asked.
"Yes Pinkie, you can open your eyes now." Sweetie Belle said.
When Pinkie opened her eyes, she gasped. For what she saw, was a huge party, and stage in the middle of it with Cheese Sandwich standing on it.
"THIS ONE GOES OUT TO YOU PINKIE! Cheese yelled into the microphone.
As the song started Pinkie's eyes widened

After song finished, Cheese leapt into the audience to find Pinkie. When he found her, he really surprised her with what he said next:
"Pinkie, I've always liked you ever since that first goof-off, and, well, the reason I was talking with Dash so much was, because she was helping me with this party. You light up my world Pinkie, so, will you be my girlfriend?"
Pinkie just stood there, surprised, and quite possibly paralyzed. Until she finally said something:
"Yes, of course I'll be your girlfriend!" Pinkie said happily.
Right then, Cheese pulled Pinkie into a romantic kiss and everypony cheered happily. Then Pinkie pulled out her party cannon and blasted Cheese in the face and said:
"LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!" She yelled and started to dance.
"YEAH! I'M IN!!!!!!!!!" Cheese yelled and joined in.
At that moment the two felt that they had all that they had ever wanted or needed. They each concluded that life couldn't get any better than this.
