Factions of Equestria

Royalists: The Royalists are the ponies who are still loyal to Celestia and see her as the source of good in the world. They agree with her that the human race requires salvation through an outside force. Despite the fallacies of the Solar Princess, they follow her and obey her whim. With the current conquest of Saddle Arabia and back up from the Colonial Defense Fleets, Celestia plans to use this might to retake Equestria  to bring back order and stability.  Once she is done with that, she will give humanity the final ultimatum: Convert to accept salvation or die like filthy animals.

Rumors go that four different kinds of serums are being prepared. One for the Gryphons, and another one for the Diamond Dogs, one for dragons, and the last one for the Changelings:  Mass Ponification of the peoples of Counter-Earth. Celestia and the Royalists see the Humans, Diamond Dogs, Changelings, Dragons, and Gryphons as impurities that must be fixed or obliterated.  Speciest to the core, they all believe in the superiority of Ponykind itself, and it is their mission to purify the Twin Earths of the plagues that walk amongst them.

Nationalists:  The Equestrian Nationalists believe that the openness to the Newfoal along with the Colonization of Human lands has brought crime, divorce, and alcohol and drug abuse, along with other things beyond their comprehension. Likeminded Native Equestrians along with Gryphon-Equestrians, Diamond Dog-Equestrians, and Dragon Citizens of Equestria joined for several common goals: Expulsion of the Newfoal, remove all Colonial presence from Human lands, and to remove the Princesses from power.

They have a hatred for all things Royalist or pertaining to the Newfoal, blaming them for the disasters that befell on Equestria and her reputation to the rest of the world in general.

The Nationalists have humble origins, ever since the Occupy Canterlot event of 2018; patriotic ponies counter-protested against the Newfoals’ insane demands, revealing the true colors of the Converted. The “Who is an Equestrian” question came into mind.  The Natives and the Minorities are known for the chant of “NOT ONE OF US! THEY ARE AND NEVER WILL BE ONE OF US!”

Years later, a Pegasus mare by the name of Thunder Quill held a rally in the Unicorn Mountain Range, uniting all like minded patriots. Thus the Nationalists were born.

It is known that the Equestrian Foreign Legion joined the Nationalists.

Due to the discovery of Nazi weapons and airships, the Nationalists turn them against their former creators. Due to the lack of hands, all firearms are assigned to Gryphons, Diamond Dogs, and Child to Teenage Dragons.  The Nationalists also possess a small but deadly air navy composed of captured Nazi zeppelins.  All captured Nazi equipment is “purified” by removing the iconography.

Ponies and Zebras act as non-combat roles, but a few have joined the campaign to reclaim Equestria.

The Nationalists are divided by region: North, South, East, and West.  They are led by a Regional Commander who is in turn led by the Generals of the Nationalist Forces in their HQ in the Unicorn Mountain Range.

Nazis: The Nazi Party, composed of Newfoals believes that they are the master race and Equestria should be only for them. They look down on the Natives and minorities as parasites and undesirables, believing that they will bring race riots and allow even more to migrate to Equestria. Lead by a mysterious Fuhrer, they are responsible for the destruction of Appleloosa followed by the genocide of the Buffalo Tribes, the first step of their master plan. The Nazis are fiery followers of racial purity, eugenics, and Social Darwinism.

The Nazis are also very creative when it comes to the field of mechanics. This has lead to the creation of their fighting backbone such as the humanoid Adaptive Intelligent Combat Android, the Quailship, and various firearms such as submachine guns based on the MP-18 and its derivatives along with full to intermediate power assault rifles, bolt-action rifles, machine guns, and rocket launchers used exclusively by the Android and much to their displeasure, the Nationalists.

They have a hatred of anything that does not fit in their vision of the future.  Anyone who is not a Newfoal is dangerous, it is flawed and must be destroyed.

Communists:  The Communists also composed of Newfoals believe that the current system is outdated and that all Capitalist activities exploit the common pony to ensure that the Princesses are well fed and allowed to lord over them as they please, using trickery and optical illusions to pretend to raise the sun and moon.  Their goal is to overthrow the Princesses and establish a Communist Order, the worker’s paradise where all means of productions will be owned by the Grand Soviet Republic of Equestria.

The Communists have fought in small skirmishes against the Nazis. Due to these skirmishes, they have managed to reverse-engineer a Quailship, leading to the creation of the Falconship they use as their main fighting force.

They have a hatred for all things Capitalist, the Princesses, the Nationalists, and the Nazis, seeing them as their opponents as they fight for control of Equestria and her resources.
