In the waning days of World War II, the Germans sought out darker powers in an attempt at assured victory against the allies. They sacrificed many lives and performed many rituals, eventually transferring the soul of a brainwashed allied soldier into a solid steel box. In desperation, the nazis had the box built into their most monsterous creation yet; the Maus
Panzerkampfwagen VII Maus was intended to punch holes through enemy defences whilst taking almost no damage to any components. He was a German World War II super-heavy tank completed in late 1944, And is the heaviest fully enclosed armoured fighting vehicle ever built. Only he was completed before the testing grounds were captured by the advancing Soviet forces.
This prototype underwent trials in late 1944. The complete vehicle was 10.2 metres long, 3.71 metres wide and 3.63 metres high. Weighing 188 metric tons. His 128 mm gun was powerful enough to destroy all Allied armored fighting vehicles then in service, some at ranges exceeding 3,500 metres (3,800 yd).
He never saw true combat, the armor on his body never knowing the feeling of an enemy shell's impact, his gun never being able to teach the enemy his.
For decades Maus has slumbered wistfully in a Russian hangar, but when magic beyond earthly control relocates him to the everfree forest just outside of ponyville, he just may get his wish.
