It was a calm night at the Fluttershy's manner, everyone was camping out in the living room. The parents are out, Fluttershy's brother Zephyr Breeze is finally back at collage and it was a perfect night to have a slumber party. Unfortunately, tonight's party was a lot more tense then usual.
Princess Twilight was around and wanting to see if she can hang out with her friends in the human world. She hadn't came around much any more ever since the Twilight from the human world became part of their group now and things became a bit awkward since. However, with much assistance from Pinkie, they want to see if they can have a good time with everybody around. Things are going as well as you might expect.
Everyone was sitting by each other and was watching a movie on the TV. Things were limited by ways of entertainment so they thought they would watch a film that Rainbow Dash had brought. It was a good movie with plenty of snacks to go around, but everyone was mostly silent throughout the flick. A few were laying on the floor, namely Rainbow Dash, Pinkie, Applejack, while everybody else was sitting on the couches. Fluttershy, Rarity and (pony) Twilight was sitting comfortably and cosily on the settee while Sunset and (human) Twilight was sitting on another couch. It was an okay night, but it wasn't as lively as they usually have it.
During the film, Princess Twilight look across from her and see how her human counterpart is doing. There, she notice that she was writing some stuff down in a large note book. Either it was a diary or a homework assignment. Either way, she was hoping to break the ice... with herself and see if they be friends. She gently got out from in between Fluttershy and Rarity and make her way towards her. But as she was tippy-toeing around the scatter food on the floor and her friends, they began to notice what was happening and try to pear their eyes towards the commotion.
When human Twilight notice that Sunset had moved away from her, she saw her "other-self" standing over. "Hi... Can I sit next to you?" she ask nervously.
"Um... Yeah..." the other Twilight replied just as nervously.
Once the princess sat down, she try to look over her doppelganger's shoulder. "What is that you're writing?"
"This!? It's just a homework report that I'm doing for school."
"Okay... Can I help?"
"Depends. Do you know the ins and outs of photosynthesis?"
Princess Twilight just had a blank expression on her face. She had never heard of "Photosynthesis" before and she had no clue what it is. She look at Sunset and her expression just says "Yeah, it's a hard subject for people like us to get our heads around." Twilight looks back at her counterpart with a shameful. "Sorry."
"That's ok." the other Twilight replied. She then hangs her head, saddened about the failed attempt to get to know each other.
But then, the princess then ask her "But can you teach me about it when you have the time?" The human world Twilight look at her with a surprised look. Pony Princess Twilight explains "I do a lot of reading back home and I like find out about new things."
"Kind of like me" human Twilight thought... before she realized that she is her. Both Twilights then share a smile, finally finding something to connect to. Sunset, who over saw the who thing, felt the same sentiment.
And then a loud sound shot out. Everyone look at the TV and see the movie was over and the credits is roll by. "Well... The movie is over!" said Rainbow Dash as she stood up and stretch her muscles. "Is there anything else we could do?"
"We could watch another movie?" Pinkie Pie suggested.
"Nah! I don't know about all of you, but I can't stand sitting through another movie" Rainbow Dash responded. After that, everyone else soon voicing their agreements to that remark. Even Pinkie herself admits that she doesn't want to watch another movie. Rainbow then looks at Fluttershy and asks her "Do you have anything else here that can entertain us Fluttershy?"
Getting up from her comfy seat and heading over to a nearby shelf, Fluttershy says "Lets see here... We got several board games. How about Monopoly?"
"Nah" replied a disinterested Rainbow Dash.
Fluttershy then shrugs and tells them "Well I'm sorry but that about everything we have in entertainment. My parents isn't really that up to date with modern technology."
"That's ok Fluttershy" said a consulting Sunset. "Though, having a party game on the TV would've made things livelier."
"But do we really need to?" Princess Twilight remarked. "Don't you all have slumber party games in these world like "pillow fighting or "truth or dare"?"
When she said that, everyone was liking the Twilight's suggestions. Applejack then went on to say "Hey yeah. I could do for a good old time of pillow fighting." However, as she said it, she couldn't help but glance towards Rarity.
Rarity, noticing the glance, tells her in response "Really dearie? You think you can beat me even after a bury you in a mountain of pillows?"
"You know it"
However, as soon as competitive sparks was lighting up between the two girls, Fluttershy quickly jumped into the middle and shouted "NO!" When everyone froze in surprise, she explains to all of them "Sorry guys, but we have some really expensive pillows and all the feathers will disturb the animals." Her friends soon remembers that Fluttershy looks after a lot of animals and they soon imagine how they will react with feathers being scattered about.
With her friends looking glum, the Twilight from the human world quickly suggests "Ok, so pillow fighting is a no go. How about truth or dare then?"
However, before there would be any debate or discussion, everyone (except for the other Twilight) instantly said "No!" to her. Both Twilight were somewhat bewildered by how fast their friends responded, almost as if they didn't even want to consider it. Sunset explains to them "You see Twilight... and uh... Twilight, truth or dare is one of those sort of games where if you don't want your friendships to get soured, you don't play it." They don't see how truth or dare could ruin friendships, but they will take her words for it.
With that slumber party activity shot down, everyone began brainstorming other activities. While everyone else was thinking, Rarity seizing the opportunity and suggest to them "You know what ladies? Why don't we give each other... Makeovers!" Unfortunately, Rarity's proposal was only met with awkward silence and cold stares from everyone else.
Applejack told her "Rarity, makeovers are a thing that only you want to do."
Disappointed with how her friends responded to her idea, Rarity turns away and started to pout.
Upon seeing every idea that they could come up with denial, a frustrated Rainbow Dash raised her arms and yells "Oh Come ne Guys! We Got Two Twilights With Us And We Can't Come Up With Any Fun Games That We Can Play With Them!" As she was beginning to sulk, everyone else soon follow suit. They thought that tonight could be special, make the most with the opportunity that they have and make tonight worth remembering. However, it seems like they set their hopes up just a little too high.
As (Princess) Twilight saw how sad everyone was, she thought that she might have put unwanted pressure onto them. Feeling guilty, she says to them "I'm sorry guys. I guess I made the night a bit awkward for everybody, didn't I."
"Of course not Twilight" Fluttershy responded.
"We just didn't really thought about what we wanna do" Applejack explained.
(Princess) Twilight appreciated her friends support, but it did little to change her mind. Human Twilight, when she see how sad her other self was and how depressing the mood was, also began feeling as sad as her counterpart and was slumping over just like her. When she saw them, Rainbow Dash was getting even more frustrated by how bad the night is going.
However, as she was looking at both Twilights, something was beginning to spark inside Rainbow's head. Even though they are two separate people wearing different pajamas ( and with one having glasses), it still looks like she was seeing doubles. Letting her thoughts and instincts takeover, she says out loud "Hey Twilight."
At that moment, both Twilights look up to Rainbow Dash. Confusion quickly sparked as to which Twilight Rainbow was referring to. Rainbow reiterate and says
"The Twilight with the glasses. Can you take those off and let down your hair?"
Shocked and surprised, human Twilight replies "What! Why!?"
"Humor me for a sec please Twilight" Rainbow said back.
Everyone has no clue what Rainbow was going with this as they all know that Twilight need her glasses to see properly. Human Twilight looked at her pony counterpart and she is as confused as she is. Reluctantly, she comply to Rainbow's request and did what she said: she took her glasses off and let loose her hair which was in a pony tail.
When she did that, Twilight was initially dazed by her blurred vision. She wasn't completely blind, but it's hard for her to make out finer details of stuff. "There, I did what you asked. Happy?"
However, Rainbow didn't respond. Instead, she only looked at both Twilights even more intensely. They could see that she was thinking about something, but what that something "is" what they don't know. And then, when Applejack and Pinkie tries to see what Rainbow Dash is seeing, they too soon realize how similar both Twilights are and tilt their heads. Even Rarity and Fluttershy soon came next to them and have the same feeling and everyone was looking at both Twilights.
Both Twilights were creeped out to their wits ends until Rarity remarks "You know, you two do look so much alike." When both Twilight look at each other, they finally realize what was going on.
"Well it's not that surprising. We are kind of the same person" Princess Twilight says to them.
"Well maybe not the same-"same" person, but still the same identity in a way" human Twilight reiterate.
Sunset Shimmer then expresses "Yeah I will admit; when I first come over to this world, I found it surprising to see human versions of the ponies from Equestria. You can not imagine my reaction when I met another Celestia."
It was an interesting subject to think about. Can both version be interchangeable? Are their personalities exactly the same or are they kind of different? They know after spending time with both Twilights separately that the latter insertion is true but it's fascinating to think about.
But then, all the silence and thinking stopped when Rainbow Dash suddenly thought of something. She instinctively snapped her fingers, grabbing everyone's attentions and says out loud "I Know! Why don't we make a game out of this?"
"What!" said one Twilight, "What!" said the other and "WHAT!!" said by everybody else.
As she pull both Twilights up from the couch and got them under her arms, Rainbow explains "What don't we mix both Twilights up and see if we can tell them apart!?"
At first, the Twilights thought that their friends wouldn't support Rainbow with this idea. However, one by one, they saw them looking more and more interested.
"That does sound like a lot of fun" Pinkie said out loud.
"Yeah, kind of like a mystery or a guessing game" Fluttershy remarks.
They even saw Sunset looking invested with the idea as they can see a smile on her face. Hesitant with the plan, (Princess) Twilight put her metaphorical foot down and says to all of them "I don't know you guys. I think me and "Twilight" don't want to play that sort of game."
Continuing for where her counterpart left off, human Twilight add "Yeah I wouldn't like that you all would be comparing us with each other."
However Sunset points that "I don't think it's about "comparing" the both of you and more like if they can see if they can tell the both of you apart."
"Yeah. I wouldn't like if people mistakes me for lookalike" Applejack remarked.
However Rarity then adds "Although I would like to meet the other version of me and see how beautiful we can make each other be." When she said that, pony Twilight imagine her meeting her Equestrian counterpart and thinks the both of them could along well with each other.
However, her attention then falls back to the rest of them as they all look like they are desperate to play this game. "Oh please Twilight and Twilight! Just for fun" Pinkie begged them.
Seeing them all like that put pressure on the both of them. And even thought they don't like to admit it, a small part of them deep down does think it sounds interesting. When they look at each other one more time, pony Twilight whispers "It would give us the chance to get to know each other." And then, after much begging and begrudging, both Twilights cave in to the peer pressure.
(Human) "Ok Rainbow, you win."
(Princess) "We'll play this little game of yours."
"YES!" Rainbow cheered and soon everyone else did their own. They still not 100% sure with the idea, but they decide to be optimistic.
Before they would start the game, they want to do a few things first to make things seem fair. First, they got the Twilights to wear matching pajamas. They then grab markers and draw symbols on the Twilights forearms. For the princess, she got an alicorn's wings and horn. For the human counterpart, she got an atomic atom with a person in the middle. It was really necessary to put them on their, they argue it would be for dramatic flair for when they show who was who.
"There! All done!" Rarity cheerily declares when she finish drawing the symbols. "If they start to fade, we just have to re-apply them."
Both Twilight then looks that the symbols on their forearms. When Princess Twilight looks at hers, she sort of imagines it as a cutie mark. It was a symbol on her skin and she does seem to do more princess work then studying different magic these days. Human Twilight on the other hand was a bit more mixed about hers though. While she does appreciate it for showing her love for science; I does imply that she's nothing more but a nerdy girl.
Once everything was set and they roll down the sleeves to hid the marks, all eyes were on Rainbow Dash since it was her idea. "Ok. This is how we gunna play it" she proclaims. She points to the Twilights and tells them "You two will go upstairs and wait until you both ready to come down. When you do, we then have to figure out which Twilight is the princess and which one is our Twilight."
But then Sunset raises the question "Wait! Will it be "one at a time" or "all at once"?"
Rainbow paused and had a think. Either one sounds good enough but I could decide the pace of the game. Thinking it might be more satisfying, she asks everybody "Does "one at a time" sounds good to all of you?" Everyone voiced their liking to that setup, or at least not too bothered by it. But once everyone agrees to it, Rainbow then quickly adds "And to make it extra challenging, we can only ask three questions to either of them."
"Wow Rainbow. You seem to be going all the way about this one" Sunset remarks.
"Oh course! I'm always serious on this sort of thing."
"Serious about making up party games?" Applejack remarks.
As Rainbow Dash was glaring at AJ, Pinkie then tells her "Yeah! Party games are my thing you know."
After the teasing was over, human Twilight ask her "So while me and "Princess-me" is upstairs, what do we do 'till then?"
Not really paying too much concern to the topic, Rainbow just replies "Just do whatever you want until we call you. Just make sure that you don't do anything that will make us tell you two apart very quickly." After a silent glance to one another, both Twilights just shrug their shoulders.
"Ok! Is everything in order?" Rainbow asks them. After everyone said yes, she then says "Alright! Twilight-ss... You two go up and mix you selves up. When you both ready and come down, we'll go to the guessing round."
"Ok Rainbow" said one Twilight as both began their march upstairs.
Everyone wait silently until both Twilights were out of sight upstairs. Once they do, Rainbow sat down on one of the sofas. "Ok. So who want to go first?"
"I thought you would go first. Consider this is your game after all" Rarity replied.
Rainbow rebuts by saying "I could... but I want somebody to have a chance first."
"Oh! Oh! Oh! Can I go first!?" Pinkie yelled.
Before Rainbow could say anything, Sunset tells her "Well this is Fluttershy's house. I think she should decide who's going first."
Everyone's eyes were then pointing towards Fluttershy. Been suddenly forced into the selective role, Fluttershy timidly says "Um... I'm ok for Pinkie going first."
"YES!" Pinkie shouted. Everyone ruled their eyes but still smile to see her happy.
Everyone then began to wait anxiously for the Twilights to come down. They were patient and giving them time. While some of them where wondering if the Twilights are mingling up, others were wondering if how the game is going to go. Will it go ok? Will it go poorly? Only time will tell and they wait to find out.
After a minute or so of patiently waiting, a voice finally came out from upstairs. "Are You All Ready!?" yelled Twilight(?). Understandably, they didn't know which Twilight yelled that. However, they know it was part of the game and were prepared.
"Yeah! We're Ready!" Sunset yelled.
After taking a deep breath to build confidence, the Twilights began returning down stairs at once. Even though they built their confidence, nervousness and shyness was noticeable on their faces and their hearts were beating fast. Once they were in front of their friends, the Twilight on the right (the group's right) ask them "So... who is it?"
"That would be me" Pinkie proudly proclaims.
The only ones who were standing up were the Twilights and Pinkie while everybody else were scattered about sitting on the sofas or the comfy ground. With the scene was set, Rainbow acts like an announcer and says "Ok Pinkie; you got three questions to figure out which Twilight is which. You may start... NOW!"
"Alright!" Pinkie said as she clapped her hands and got into a low-bearing stance. It looked like she was ready for a throw down then a sophisticated deduction. The Twilights even imagine her tackling them down to the ground but they know that she won't do that (right?).
The first thing that she does wasn't asking them any question but instead was seizing them up. She was scanning every part of their bodies in every conceivable angle. At points it got really awkward as was really getting up close and personal. At first, Pinkie was filled with confidence and was sure with herself. But as she looks and seeing more and more similarities appearance wise, that confidence slowly dissipate.
"Hm... This might be a bit harder than I thought?" Pinkie thought out loud.
Catching that, Applejack asks her "Hang On! Don't tell me you thought you could tell them apart just by looking that them?"
"Well I'm usually good at that sort of thing" Pinkie said back at her.
Pinkie soon realized that she might have jumped the gun a little bit. With the pressure steadily growing on her, she examines them one more time. She got so close that she was actively touching them and moving their joints. The Twilight would have felt more embarrassed if it wasn't for the fact that it also felt quite ticklish. In an act of desperation, Pinkie examine one Twilight's arm that has the mark and try to peak up the sleeve. When Twilight notices this, she pulled her arm away.
"Ah-ah-ah! No peaking" she told her.
"Don't try to cheat Pinkie" said Rarity to Pinkie Pie. Pinkie would like to try to deny it, but even she can see that there's no point to it. All she could do was smile embarrassingly and step away from both Twilights.
With her "Plan A" now ruined, Pinkie went with Plan B: use the questions that she got to identify the Twilights. She put her fingers to temples and thinks really hard on what she is gunna ask. So hard in fact that it looked like that Pinkie was trying to read their minds (much to her friend’s amusement). Once she finally thought of one, Pinkie got excited again and let loose her body.
"Ok. First Question..." she said.
Both Twilights brace themselves.
"What's the name of my pet alligator?"
The room then went into an eerie silence. They didn't know what they were expecting, but both Twilights went speechless for a moment. Eventually the Twilight on the right tells her "Um Pinkie... You don't have a pet alligator."
"Yeah, you just have that alligator plushy that's call Gummy" the other Twilight explains.
Pinkie then responds by saying "Well if only my family let me have a REAL pet alligator, then I can show them that I can take care of it!"
After a few chuckles from a few people, Rainbow explains to Pinkie "Hey Pinkie, anybody who've been to your house would know that you wouldn't have a pet alligator. You have to ask them something that only one Twilight would know about."
After getting the helpful advice, Pinkie happily replies "Ok. Thank you Dashie." Pinkie then got another moment to think up a good question to ask. She was really going at it as she really wanted to figure out which one is which. The Twilights was sort of happy to see Pinkie dedicated to this, but also hoping that she didn't pull a brain muscle.
"Ok-ok-ok! I think I got a good one" Pinkie proclaims. She point to the Twilight on her left and ask her "Out of all of us that is here, which one of us did you meet first?"
"Ok" some of them thought as they consider that a decent question to ask. They know that both Twilights had met them in different orders and had different experiences. The Twilight that was asked glance at towards the other one and she was wondering what she should say. After a moment to think very carefully about her answer, the Twilight who was asked replies.
"I think it was... Fluttershy?"
But then, before she could even think about it, Pinkie went and says "PZZT! Wrong! It was me!"
However, what she said struck a chord with Fluttershy. Before anybody could say anything, she was fast to respond and tells Pinkie "Um Pinkie, she was right. I was the one who first met Twilight."
Surprised, Pinkie yells "What!"
"Yeah. I remember telling Twilight where to find you when she wanted to be in the Fall Formal" Fluttershy explained.
When she said that, Pinkie and a few others suddenly remembered the events around the Fall Formal. They remember it as a simpler time where there was a lot less magic that they had to deal with. "Oh many things have changed since back then" a few of them ask themselves.
But anyway, after they remember the simple times, Pinkie then tries to back-peddle and says "Oh yeah. But um... I was more thinking about our Twilight, the one where we met at the Friendship Games."
With that info, then Pinkie's reaction was a bit more excusable. However, Rarity still rebuts "Well if that was the case darling, then she technically met all of us at once when I show off my designs in the music room.
However Pinkie refutes that by saying "Yeah, but technically: I was the first person that Twilight met on our own after that."
They could see that Pinkie is trying really hard to be right about something and she is right in some way. "Alright Pinkie. We'll give you that one" Rainbow said to her.
As Pinkie was feeling really happy with herself, Sunset suddenly thought of something. "You know, if we were to get really technical her, then I was the one who Princess Twilight first meet. I mean, if it wasn't for me getting spotted when I stole Twilight's crown, then she wouldn't had follow me to CHS." Everyone found that factoid as really interesting to think about.
But with that discussion over, Pinkie is left with one more question to ask and she is putting off all the stops. She was so deep in thought, she would like to describe that she was grasping cosmological concepts or anything that sounds fancy. She knows that she is facing against Twilight who read a lot of books in her time. She wants to construct a question that was in the same vain as someone would construct a logic puzzle.
But then something finally hit. She thought of a question that might tumble the brilliant and smart. Pinkie wants to hid overflowing excitement, but it was still noticeable in her friends eyes. "Final.... Question!" Pinkie said in a melodramatic and eerie voice. She went to the left Twilight, the one that she had just asked, and look in her the eye.
"Twilight..."
The Twilight that she was talking to braced herself.
"Is that Twilight over there (pointing to the one on the right) is the pony princess version of yourself?"
Everyone was speechless. She had asked questions already to make them to be lost for words, but this seems to take the cake. It was so straight forward and simple, it caused Applejack to ask
"Pinkie, do you think she would reply a simple question like that?"
However Pinkie quickly teleport right beside and replies "No, it's actually quite brilliant." Before Applejack could react for Pinkie suddenly appearing up close to her, she was then teleport in the center of the room and explains her logic.
"You see, if she would say yes to the question, then that Twilight is indeed the princess Twilight and she would be our Twilight. But if she would say no, then she would be princess Twilight and the other must be our Twilight!"
After hearing it out loud, it actually does sound quite clever and brilliant. It's kind of like a solution to a riddle where the answer might not be that hard to think about. However, Fluttershy still felt like she had to ask "But what if she was lying?"
"She wouldn't lie" Pinkie replied. But after realizing something, she asks "Wait! Can she lie?"
Everyone then look around, realizing that they haven't thought of that. After some time, Applejack says to everyone "I'd say they have to be honest as they can be in this scenario."
"Yeah or else it wouldn't be much fun otherwise" Rarity then added.
Finally filled back with confidence, Pinkie got up close to Twilight and says "So what is it gunna be... Twilight!?"
The Twilight that Pinkie was talking to was extremely nervous. Like Pinkie said, it was a really clever question that can exposes her quite easily. However, when she look at her other counterpart, she saw a face of reassurance. A face that tells her that she has faith in her. Seeing that trusting expression, Twilight became confident in herself. As the pressure slowly starts to build, she thought deeply for a good answer. Pinkie question does sound like something that she read about in books before, it still wasn't quite the same. And since it wasn't the same, she can be a little loose with her answer.
And then, at the height of suspense, she finally came up with a good response. After taking a deep breath, Twilight replies to Pinkie
"... Maybe?"
After a delayed reaction, Pinkie response was "What!?"
"Yes, Maybe" Twilight reiterate as she leans against her other self. "Maybe she's Princess Twilight? Maybe I'm Princess Twilight? Maybe is my answer and I'm sticking to it."
After a moment to be surprised, everyone burst out laughing much to Pinkie's dismay. Just how dumbfounded Pinkie's expression was after she thought so hard to make a good tricky question and it being ruined by Twilight's clever comeback makes it all hilarious to them.
"Now Wait A Minute!" Pinkie yelled out "Can She Say That!?"
"I'd Allow It!" Sunset replied while she was still laughing her head off.
As she saw her friends laughing to her misery, lets just say that Pinkie really doesn't like being laughed at. Eventually, as they were calming down, they notice a not so cheery Pinkie standing before them looking upset. Realizing how she must be feeling, they instantly cut out their laughter.
"Sorry for laughing Pinkie" Fluttershy apologized. "Just your reaction was so funny."
"No, that's ok" Pinkie replied, trying to be mature. "Ha! It was kind of funny I will admit." She said that with all honestly.
With that out of way, Pinkie is left to chose. With them standing in front of her, Pinkie still hasn't got a clue which Twilight is which. However, she is gunna put all her faith in one thing: her magical friendship instinct.
"Ok, according to my friendship instincts, they say that..."
The Twilights gulp in suspense.
"......You (to the Twilight on her left) are "Princess Twilight" while you (to the Twilight on her right) is "Our Twilight"!"
After she said that, the room went back into silence as they wonder if she was right. Pinkie was crossing her fingers and was hoping she was right. Both Twilights had one more glance to each other before they got ready to roll up their sleeves. When the tension was at it thickest, the Twilights reveal the answer.
The Twilight on the left has the human-atom symbol and the Twilight on the right has the alicorn symbol. Pinkie was wrong.
When they saw the results, everyone immediately feel bad for Pinkie who was understandably disheartened. As they where wondering how she is doing, her legs became like jelly and fell onto her knees. Saddened to see Pinkie like this, human Twilight (after putting on her glasses) tries to comfort her and says "Don't be too sad Pinkie. You tried your best."
"Yeah I know" Pinkie replied. "It's just that I'm supposed to be a really good friend, but how can I be that if I can't tell my look-alike friends apart?"
"Oh Pinkie" Sunset says before she gave Pinkie a hug. Soon, everyone got up and give Pinkie, hoping it might her feel better. Even though she thought it wasn't needed, Pinkie did appreciate the group hug.
But then, in a moment that would cause severe whiplash, Pinkie jump up in the air with excitement and and yells "But Oh Man That Was A Lot Of Fun!" Her friends jumped back, surprised that Pinkie was much better then they thought.
"Really?" Twilight ask.
"Mmhem!" Pinkie replied. "It was challenging, suspenseful and got us to think some interesting stuff."
"Well I'm glad that you had fun Pinkie" says Sunset who was still surprised to see Pinkie this happy.
At first, the Twilights thought they would stop after one round when they thought Pinkie was distraught. However, after seeing Pinkie energising smile and cheerfulness, it make them want to continue. "So I'm guessing you want us to go continue?" Princess Twilight asked.
"You Betcha!" Pinkie replies.
"Oh! Can it be my turn this time?" Rarity asked, seizing the opportunity.
"Sure, I don't mind" Rainbow nonchalantly remark. After everyone says they ok with it, Rainbow then says to Twilight "Ok you two; go back upstairs and give us a holla when your ready."
"Ok" human Twilight reply. As she and the other Twilight walk back upstairs, they look down over the railing and saw their friends looking happy. They are more glad that they are playing this game. But then, when the Twilight were out of sight or sound from the others, both Twilights breath a massive sigh of relief. "Oh Man" human Twilight said. "Things got pretty tense back there."
"I know" Princess Twilight responded. "By the way: way-to-go in answering Pinkie's last question back there."
"Thanks. It was a really good. And um... thanks a lot in telling the 2nd question's answer was Fluttershy."
"Well I didn't so much as "tell" as you just notice me pointing my eyes at her when you look" Twilight replied, feeling slight embarrassed.
"You know, they will be asking more personal questions now. Do you think we should seize this opportunity to share what we know?"
Both Twilights felt slightly uncomfortable with this as it almost seem like it's underhanded. However, they remember Rainbow saying that they can do whatever they want up there as long as they don't make it obvious on who they are. That along with the excuse of making the game more fun, Twilight reply by saying
"Sure."
