Twilight Sparkle, being the observant pony she always is, notices something strange when the happy-go-lucky party pony returns a book to her. Pinky Pie, also known as Pinkamina Diane Pie, reacts very proactively to this. However, upon her newest victims death, she unlocks a power long forgotten, and must find equal powers to combat it or she will surely die.

This is a tale of a cunning murderer and a betrayed friend, with powers unheard of in anything but legends older than Celestia herself, fighting for the fate of Equestria and beyond.
