Rough Days

Black Shadow's (POV)

I was already done for today and it was only morning, the reason why is that I have gym class this morning and I hate it. I may be physical fit, but that doesn't mean I like to sweat. I rather read than exercise, but I need the class and unfortunately I can't take a nap till I do all the exercises. Another thing I hate is the fact that the gym is the on the far side of the high school and I have to walk over the common grounds and past the cafeteria, just to do I few exercises and maybe play a team sport. If it was dodge ball I could get out and sleep, which would make this so much better.

"Man, why does the gym have to so far away. I know you having it closer soccer field is better and all, but why?" I said to myself. Another thing I hate about gym class is that I have to wear shorts. I am a jeans kind of guy, especially black jeans. So you could say that this is both uncomfortable for me and slightly embarrassing for me. When I finally reached the front of the gym I noticed the group of girls that are normally with Fluttershy, "Yep, today totally sucks. At least she isn't here" I whispered to myself. I pushed open the door and stuck to the wall and made my way to the bleachers where I few others were seating waiting for the teacher to arrive.

A couple minutes passed with a buff man that looked to be in his late thirty's walked. I assumed he was our teacher, because if the small bell that was around his neck and I was approved right when he opened his mouth.

"Okay, my name is Tough Love. I am going to be teacher for gym class, you do what I say and when I say it." "Joy, he is one of those types at least they are easy to deal with. "If I catch you lacking off or not giving it you all you will have to fun around the gym the whole class period, got it." I nodded along with the rest of them, no sense letting myself act an ass just yet. "Good today we will start things off with a classic game of dodge ball." At this point I tuned him out as he put everyone on a team and I didn't notice I was the last one till a voice called out.

"What about him coach? Isn't he going to play?" The coach looked at me and was surprised, probably thinking how in the world did he miss me. He quickly recovered from it and pointed me to a team that just screamed "please let this be painless." I stood in the back of the crowd and waited till  the coach blew the whistle. When he did everyone, but me ran towards one of the balls that was lined up in the middle of the court. I noticed the other team had all of Fluttershy's friends on it and they were quickly dominating the others, because of their teamwork.  As the game progressed my team was able to knock most of the other players out except for those five. Sooner, than I would have liked I was all alone against them.

"Man what I drag, why I am against a bunch of girl's." I said knowing the reaction I would get out of them. The first one to react was a girl with rainbow hair.

"Hey what is that suppose to me, we kick all your teammates ass and you think you could think little of me." She asked with venom in her voice. I simply nodded getting her to turn into a shape of red that if it was a cartoon she would have smoke going out of her ears. "That's it." She charged ahead of her group, with them yelling at her to come back and wait to strike. As she threw the ball for my head I yawned almost completely blocking my face. As the ball got close enough I reached my hand and grabbed the ball.

"That all you got hot head?" I asked with a smirk. She walked of the court grumbling and sat down on the bleachers with a small pout. "Aaw, Look everyone she's pouting." at this some people snickered and she turned a scarlet red from embarrassment. I turned my attention to the remaining four, all of them were furious. "Maybe to day won't be so bad after all."

"O, you uncouth delinquent you are going to pay for embarrassing my friend." Said the annoying posh voice girl. I saw her nodded to the one with a cowboy and she nodded back. They slowly walked closer and walked and they took the left and right edge of their side. "I guess they will both throw at the same time and one will aim high and other will aim low. They know it is near impossible to dodge, if I didn't swap a ball to have some protection." I said to myself. They gave each other one last nodded and threw their balls at me. The posh threw high and the country went low. I quickly grabbed the ball I had hidden in the back of my shirt and deflected the low one, while reaching up with my other hand to grab the one that was going for my head. I didn't stop there I took the ball I used to deflect the country's ball and slung it hard at her. She was too surprised to move out of the way so she got hit right in the face.

"Two down, two to go." I said as I watched the know it all gulp and the hated pink one was tending to the country girl that was out like a light. They had to call I time out, to get her off the court, something that slightly annoyed me, I didn't hit her that hard. O, who I am kidding I was hoping to see a tooth or two fall out from that hit.  When they finally got her off the court I asked the remaining two, "What are you going to do now?"

"We are going to defeat you and make you apologize for hurting my friends." said the know it all. I actually chuckled at that, which of course made her madder. "Come on Pinkie lets show him not to underestimate us." "You know I just thought of something that just make work against that pink one."

"Yo, pink. Is that an unfinished cupcake that someone is about to throw away?" She quickly turned around and I quickly threw the ball nailing her in the back. "Oops, my bad." I turned my attention to the know it all. "So? What were you saying? Something about making me apologize." She backed up slightly and had a look of fear in her eyes. I could see her mouth begin to open as she said,

"I give up."  With that I won and walked away not caring about what I had done. Soon after the bell range meaning I had enough time to change out of these clothes and get to my next class. As I made my way to the open area, I heard the distinct sound of someone running after me. I didn't care who it was, because I saw Principle Luna walk around the corner so I knew there was no way she couldn't see me. When I was tackled, I let out a rather loud sounded,

"Oof, get off of me." As I rolled over I saw that it was the rainbow one that was sitting on top of me with her right fist ready to strike. I acted scared till I heard Princess Luna say,

"RAINBOW DASH, cease thy actions immediately." the girl looked up and I could she was trying to say something it make it look like it wasn't her fault, but nothing came. I immediately pushed her off and got up and went over to the principle.

"Thank you, I think she may be mad that my team won the dodge ball game. My  I please so, I need to change and get to my next class." she simply nodded and I was on my way. I was feeling better already, thank you hot head. I could still hear Luna giving her a stern talking to and something about a detention as well. I was grinning from ear to ear, which I quickly hid. "I wonder if there is any more chaos I can cause." I said to myself as turned up the hall towards the staircase that lead to my room.
