Two adorable fillies lay in cold torn up blankets that had seen better days, their shivering bodies cuddling for warmth in the small cramp cardboard box as their parents yelled at each other.
"WHY ARE THEY ALICORNS?!?!?!" yelled the light teal colored mare as sweat rolled off of her matted coat and on to the tiny red filly which made her start to cry.
"Why are you asking ME? They are YOUR CHILDREN" yelled the red-grey stallion as he shoved an accusing hoof in her face, when his hoof made contact, she stumbled, almost falling, but was caught by a red aura.
"I'm sorry" said the stallion as he lifted her up gently
"it's.. Fine. We all have our moments, but back to the matter at hoof..." said mare, still stunned at the race of her two daughters
After the shock, the mare–whose name was Bleu Brush–picked up the children and transferred them to their cribs before walking back to her room. There, she found her husband Serin.
"We have to tell the princesses about this.." Bleu brush said, and was interrupted by Serin
"No, it would be too much trouble... Plus they would probably take our children away" said Serin.
10 years later*
"Mama!" said a small red filly. Her name was Crimson Opal.
"Yes dear?" said a calm sweet motherly voice from Bleu
"What do you think pony flesh tastes like?" said filly Crimson Opal in a curious voice.
Rainbow Feather shook her rainbow-tipped wings, and her rainbow-tipped horn traced the path of her head as she looked up from her coloring book "Maybe... Like chicken!" said the light blue mare, giggling.
Bleu stood there in utter shock "Why would you EVER ask suck a question?!?!" said Bleu, raising her voice as she stood up. "And RAINBOW, WHY WOULD YOU GIGGLE?!?!?!" she said nearly screaming at the 10 year-olds.
"I'm s-sorry, i-it was j-just a que-stion" said Crimson, shrinking a bit. Rainbow feather dropped her crayon, her coat dulling, her rainbow features darkening a few shades, her white silky mane now a grey mess, her eyes turning to white rings in an ocean of darkness. It was these eyes that peered coldly at Blue.
"How DARE you talk you her like that?" said Rainbow Feather–now Blood Feather–with a ragged edge in her voice.
Bleu backed away and her ears folded back. "St-stay b-back" stammered bleu.
Crimson Opal's green cat eyes lit up, and her ear twitched. "I do wounder what Pony flesh tastes like" Crimson said, staring at Bleu. Her eye twitched as both fillies inched towards their mother slowly.
"SERIN HELP ME!" screamed Bleu as she opened her wings to fly. As she did, however, she found they were wrapped in dark blue magic, while red magic held her hooves to the ground. Both fillies' mouths watered at the thought of pony flesh.
Serin came running in the room, and he gasped as soon as he saw the scene before him. "DAUGHTERS WHAT ARE YOU DOING??" he yelled anger, fueling his adrenaline. Both fillies' ears pulled back and they let go of their mother. Blood Feather's colors popped back to life, and Rainbow Feather rubbed her head.
"Mama Pappa?" she said, bewildered, while crimson stood in front of her.
"Rainbow, Mama was being mean," said Crimson in a low voice, "and we were showing her she shouldn't mess around with us."
"O-oh" rainbow said, putting a hoof to her mouth.
"GET OVER HER RIGHT NOW YOUNG FILLYS!!!" screamed Serin, and both fillies hesitantly trotted to him
"GET OVER HER RIGHT NOW YOUNG FILLYS!!!" screamed Serin, and both fillies hesitantly trotted to him. He wrapped them in his aura, dragging them to the dark basement, and he tied them to a brick pillar. From there, he put a water cover rag over their horns wrapping it tightly with a rope. With this work done, he grabbed a make shift bat and began to hit his daughters, eliciting heartrending cries from the pair. When the bat made contact with their faces, limbs, torso, or back, it left a bruise or a broken bone. Many pieces of wood wiggled their way into the fillies' skin, leaving a trickle of blood with each blow. When Serin hit hard enough, it broke the skin, leaving bleeding gashes, making more blood flow down their bodies. Each time he hit them you could hear cracking and sharp wails from the small beaten children. Before long, Rainbow feather passed out from the unbearable pain from a hit to the head. Her body went limp, and the chains caught her, yanking her head forward, causing her small forehead to smack on the pavement. A puddle of blood formed at the sight of impact.
"You will be skipping breakfast lunch AND DINNER tomorrow YA HEAR ME?" said Serin throwing the makeshift bat to the ground and stomped up the stone stairs.
Crimson Opal dragged her self over to Rainbow feather and wept over her. After a few hours, Rainbow feather stirred.
"C-crimson?" she whispered in a cracked voice. As she spoke, Rainbow Feather put her hooves out, flailing them, trying to find her sister. After a time, she finally touched her sister's face, making her wince.
"I-I can't s-see" Rainbow said, "I can barely see!"
Crimson responded in a low voice "My horn isn't hurt that bad. I can use it," she pulled of the wet hand towel and lit her horn, illuminating the basement. Despite this, Rainbow Feather still flailed her hooves, trying to get up.
"A-are you going to use your horn" she asked, still trying to get up.
"I-i did... I can see you. Can't you see me?" asked her sister, a little panic in her voice.
"N-no its pitch black" said Rainbow as she rose to her hooves
"N-no its pitch black" said Rainbow as she rose to her hooves.
Crimson gazed into rainbows eyes and saw horrible scrapes and even splinters in her rainbow eyes "O-oh my... y-your eyes.." Crimson said, holding her sister's face
"A-am I b-blind??" Rainbow asked in a panic as tears formed at the edges of her dead eyes.
"I-i think.. you are" Crimson said starting to cry as she hugged her sister, her best friend.. Well her only friend
