Sunset Shimmer strolled through the park, a smile on her face. It was going to be great. A picnic, just her and her friends!
"Sunset Shimmer!" Pinkie Pie yelled, her smile wide. She plopped down on Rainbow Dash. Rainbow winced.
Sunset smiled. "Hey," she greeted. She hugged Pinkie Pie. "What's for lunch?" Fluttershy sat up suddenly. "Twilight!"
Pinkie wrinkled her nose. "Uh, no, we aren't eating her for lunch, silly! We have cake, cupcakes, Apple fritters, fruit salad, and also some cute cheese sandwiches that are delicious-" Applejack slapped her gently. "No, she means that Twilight is right there!"
"Oh."
"Hi guys!" Twilight, Sci-Twi, came rushing to them. She reached up and fixed her glasses. She giggled nervously. "So, this looks good. These picnics seem fun. I mean, I don't know. I haven't been to one before. Are they?"
Rarity grinned. "Yes, darling, they are amazing. Oh, dear, you should get a new outfit. Let me design it! This afternoon. It'll give me something to do." She sighed and wiped a hand across her face. "I'm ever so bored."
"Me too!" Rainbow jumped up. She dribbled her soccer ball and kicked it. "I have nothing to do, and it's driving me crazy!"
Applejack nodded. "Ah just get so bored lately. Even mah chores seem boring." She slumped down. Sunset frowned.
"It has been boring lately. I have an idea. We can do something together! What do you say?" They all nodded, and Fluttershy said "Uh-huh." Twilight made a strangled sound. Sunset looked over curiously. Twilight giggled again.
"Just, uh...why are those girls coming at us?" Twilight pointed south. Sunset turned and saw the Crystal Prep girls. Rainbow stiffened and clenched her fists. Rarity scowled, Pinkie smiled a little less, and Applejack clenched her teeth. Even Fluttershy frowned.
"Hi," Sour Sweet said sweetly. She scowled after. Sugarcoat cleared her throat and prepared to speak a famously long speech. "We wanted-" Indigo pushed her aside.
"We wanted to-we wanted to-apolo-" Indigo stammered. She cleared her throat and started over. "Apolo-"
Sunny Flare scowled. "Oh, for goshes sake, we wanted to apologize." Rainbow laughed bitterly. "Ha! And what make you think we would accept your apology?" Rarity kicked her and plastered a smile. "We would love to accept, darlings."
"But I expect a change in attitude towards us and everyone." Applejack said crossly. She crossed her arms. They nodded, and Sugarcoat even reached out to shake hands.
"We are sorry. We're sorry for being awful to you and basically bitches. We were just thinking of ourselves and winning. We never saw the light of friendship like you did, until you showed us."
Sunset blinked. "I accept. We all do. Thank you for apologizing." She took Sour Sweet's hand and shook. "I'm glad you girls had the strength to apologize. That was very brave of you. Not all people would do that."
Sour Sweet blushed, as did the rest of the girls. "Actually, we wanted to apologize to Twilight too. We were awful to her, because we thought she wasn't good enough. But really, she was the one who knew about friendship." Lemon Zest said suddenly. She looked down.
Indigo Zap jumped in. "We wanted to strengthen our bonds, like a team." She grinned nervously.
Rainbow Dash perked up. "A team, eh? I'm Rainbow Dash, captain of all teams at CHS." She stuck her hand out, and Indigo took it. "Indigo Zap, captain of teams at CPA. I like a good challenge every now and then."
Sunny Flare also extended her hand to Rarity. "Hello, dearie. My name is Sunny Flare. I notice you have an eye for fashion." Rarity smiled, a real smile this time, and took the hand. "Rarity. Darling, you clearly have fashion style too. Perhaps we could schedule a meeting. You don't happen to work for Blue Toola, do you?"
Pinkie jumped up and hugged Lemon. "Hi! I'm Pinkie Pie! I heard you like music. Vinyl Scratch likes it too. But don't get any ideas, she's with Octavia. Got any good tunes?" Lemon Zest laughed. "Yeah, I got good tunes."
Applejack stood and tipped her hat at Sugarcoat. "Ah understand bein' honest. Ah'm Applejack. Nice ta meet you." Sugarcoat smiled. "I like being honest because if I hurt you, I can't really hurt you more. If I lie, I hurt you by lying. Nice to meet you."
Sour Sweet walked to Fluttershy. "Hi. Name is Sour Sweet. I have a problem with being happy then either mad or sad after." She scowled, showing her point. Fluttershy tipped her head slightly. "Maybe I could help."
Eventually the sun started to set, and it was Fluttershy who noticed first. "Oh no! I took the bus here, and the stop is two blocks away!" She shook as Sunset hugged her.
"Actually, we were hoping you could spend the night at Lemon's house. We had something in mind for us to do." Indigo said shyly. She played with her shirt end anxiously. Sunset frowned suspiciously. "Like what?"
"Um. Well, it's a show. A really good show. We love it, and we think you could too." Sunny Flare said with a happy smile, though it was hard to see in the darkening sky. "We have only gotten to Season 3, though. But so far, it's amazing! We just love it!"
Sunset glanced at the sky. The sun had set. "We better get there quick."
Sunset gasped. She had never seen a house like this before. It was huge. Like, mansion huge. Bigger than Pinkie's.
"I know, isn't it huge?"
Sunset jumped. She turned to Sunny Flare, the owner of the voice. Sunset sighed with relief. "You scared me." Sunny smiled and continued. "We used to joke that she was a princess and this was her castle."
Sunset smiled uneasily and nodded. She wasn't used to these girls. Someone tapped her shoulder and she twirled around. Twilight backed up with her hands up in the air.
"Sorry. I just wanted to ask about magic. There's just so much I want to learn and understand. In Equestria, you can do what you want with magic, right? Well, what if we could do that here? I would love that. And maybe-"
Sunset shushed her with a smile. "Slow down, Sparky. We haven't gotten there yet."
"Ladies! You can chat on your own time." Rainbow and Indigo were waving to them. Sunset chuckled and through the gates. The lawn was huge, too, with properly cleaned...pools?! This girl had it all!
They continued up the stairs after saying hello to Lemon's parents and talking on the phone to theirs. They ended the journey up the stairs, thank goodness, and entered a large room. The room was pink and green, with large windows letting light in. The bed was huge, and the carpet was so soft you could sleep on it. Lemon Zest strolled to her bed and plopped down; at the same time she pressed a button on a remote pointed at her giant flat screen TV.
Sunset stood awkwardly as the rest of the Shadowbolts jumped next to her. The others from CHS also waited, and Pinkie made a weird face, breaking the ice. "Hahaha! You guys can sit on the beanbags of you want." Lemon said as she wiped the sweat off her face. Sunset nodded and hastily walked and sat down. Sci-Twi sat on the same one, because it was big enough for both of them. Rarity sat gracefully down next to Applejack, Pinkie sat by herself, taking up the entire thing by rolling, and Fluttershy and Rainbow were together.
Netflix popped up on the screen. Indigo stood up suddenly, looking around. "Who wants snacks?" Lemon smacked her head and muttered something about how she forgot. The girls took their orders and Indigo Zap went to the mini fridge by the desk. She gave them all the snacks and dashed back to her spot just as it started.
"Into every generation, there is a Slayer...."
9 hours later
"Wow."
Sunset stood shakily. "That was..." Pinkie jumped up with a giant smile. "Awesome!"
Rainbow stood up too. "Oh my gosh! This is so amazing! She dies and comes back! And wow!" She fell back on the beanbag with a grin.
Rarity smiled. "I do like that Cordelia comes through in the end." She examined her nails. Fluttershy nodded. "It was definitely a great nine hours."
Applejack started to say something, then blushed. "Ah have to go to tha bathroom." Lemon pointed and she zoomed away. Lemon smiled. "So, what did think? Amazing, huh?"
"Yes! I love it! This is so amazing! It really shows how hard life can be in high school, and it shows all of Buffy's problems in a realistic way. It shows life in a real way, unlike most shows. Buffy really shows how hard life is, and you go through it anyway. You can die and come back. Always try your best." Fluttershy realized what she was doing and blushed. She sat down, her face scarlet. Sunset chuckled. "Wow, Flutters. Didn't expect that."
Everyone laughed as Applejack sat down. "Wat'd ah miss?" Everyone laughed again and Lemon Zest pushed the button. This time, it wasn't just the TV saying it. They all did. "Into every generation, there is a chosen one."
16.5 hours later
Pinkie was freaking out.
So Angel was evil and eyeliner loving, Buffy was sad, and let's not even mention Cordelia and Xander. She loved this show! "Oh my gosh this is amazing!"
Sugarcoat smiled. "I know, isn't it? I totally think this season was amazing. Not just because of S- someone was in it. Maybe someone. Maybe." She blushed slightly and fiddled with her hair. Sunset grinned. "Someone has a crush on a certain bleached blonde leather wearing vampire." Sugarcoat blushed even more. Indigo slapped Sunset's hand with a grin.
Rarity jumped in. "Who wouldn't? I used to have a crush on Angel, and oho, he is so hot when he's evil, darlings, let me tell you, but Spike? Oh wow." She giggled. Spike the dog stepped forward. "Hey, am I not good enough?" They laughed.
"Next season or what?"
"YES!"
Rainbow sat chuckling. "Pretty sure this shows the whole sex is bad."
Another 16.5 hours later
"Wow. The whole school blew up. Everything. Coma. Fire." Rainbow said. Sunny Flare shrugged. "That's the way it is, I guess. We weren't finished with season three, but now we are. Neat."
Sour Sweet smiled. "Yeah,definitely great." She gave a sour expression. "If Angel wasn't such a wuss."
Rarity sighed. "Agreed. He is ever so handsome in a tuxedo, though. Ooh! Maybe Spike could get in a tuxedo." Spike the dog growled. "Which one?!"
Sunset just stared at the TV. "More." Everyone nodded. Fluttershy was almost grabbing the remote herself. "Hurry, I can't bear to wait. More, more, more!" She stared greedily at the screen. Everyone flinched away and Lemon pressed the button.
Another 16.5 hours?!
Rainbow yawned. "That was boring. I mean, it was awesome, they all are, but still. Riley is sooo boring!"
Rarity nodded, as did Sunny Flare. "Yes, certainly. He wasn't even- what am I saying, he was pretty hot too!"
Fluttershy glanced at them. "He was okay in the first episode. Not really in the next ones."
Sunset just stared at the screen and grabbed the remote. "More. I like this a lot. Very fascinating." She pressed the button and started the next season.
16.5 hours again
"Wow. She dies again? Is she gonna be okay? Is she? Is she?!" Pinkie yelled while jumping. "Aah!"
Fluttershy looked down. "Wow, this show is amazing. Let's watch some more."
16.5 hours later
Everyone was sobbing. As in everyone.
"Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!"
Pinkie dropped to her knees sobbing. "Why?"
The button was pressed.
16.5 hours later
"Oh my goodness." Rarity squealed. "Can we watch those sex scenes again? So sexy." She blushed as she realized what she said.
"Wow. I hate Kennedy. Hate her. Hate her. Hate her." Everyone joined in with the hate.
"She is horrible. She was a forced relationship, she was awful. She forced herself on poor Willow. Willow would never love her! Never! NEVER WILL SHE BE LOVED. SHE WILL NEVER LOVE HER." Fluttershy hissed. Fire was in her eyes, and steam came from her ears.
"Well, Shadowbolts, this is amazing. But it's over. We have to go." Sunset stood up, the rest of the girls behind her. "Wait!" Indigo stood. "Angel has his show."
"Really?" Rarity asked. She sat down. "Okay, if you wish."
3 days later
"Wow. Interesting." Sunset said. She stood up. "I don't know what to say. You girls have shown us such amazing things. Thanks."
They nodded. They all stood up, walked out the door.
"It's them!"
Several people rushed to them. "Oh my gosh, Wait I saw them first! I get the reward!"
Sunset shushed them. "Wait, what reward?"
They shoved papers in the girls faces.
