Summer Blast Meets Akiaza Okatsu
One night in Equestria, a yellow earth pony with red hair named Summer Blast walked into the Everfree forest to practice his aim with his new invention. Hearing a crack of a stick and seeing a fast moving shadow, he takes aim and fires.
The shadow seems to disappear as it’s actually a pink unicorn named Akiza who was running through the forest, whom leaped over the shot and stayed still in shrubbery, eyeing Summer in confusion. “OK… A. Who is this? B. Why is he firing at me? C. How did he even see me!?” The pink unicorn thought to herself.
“Um hello?.. Is anypony there?” The ground underneath the young pony started to dry up and die as he looks around in paranoia. A kunai strikes the ground in front of him after moments from asking the question, a piece of paper attached to it. Summer being scared and confused, the kunai causes him to jump back in fear as he falls to his ass. “Yo shit!" Soon getting up, Summer walks over to read the note strapped to the blade. Unfortunately for Summer, the note started to glow, the only word made out was “Boom”.
“Fuck me.” The now mad pony says with an annoyed expression. The kunai exploding soon after sending Summer flying into a tree, cracking it with the force of the blast. Upon his impact, laughter seems to come from the treeline where the kunai was thrown from.
After coughing up a bit of blood, the device on Summer’s left shoulder starts glowing and playing what can be made out as dubstep. It completely leveling the treeline as Summer stands back up with a look of fear. A moment of silence follows, making Summer feel less paranoid until the laughter starts up again, this time coming from all directions.
Summer now panicking, he puts on a pair of headphones that play loudly, his eyes seemingly glowing and moving much like an equalizer. Drowning out the laughter with the music he smiles. Akiza from behind a different treeline growls in annoyance, then throws three more kunai with exploding papers, lighting them before they're thrown, the kunai exploding on perfect timing right next to his head, damaging his earphones and ringing his head a bit.
For a few seconds, Summer’s eyes act like static from a cut off broadcast. Throwing his headphones to the ground in anger, he focuses to the sound layer sensing every vibration. Finding an odd fluctuation, he fires there. “Fuck off!” At the shot, a cry is heard, “Ow! Fuck you too!”. There is a click as the cannon fires in bass waves of 5 on a stronger level.
Silence is heard from that direction as another kunai is thrown to the shoulder carrying his device from a different area, the kunai bouncing off the device as it's material is too strong to pierce however the kunai once again explodes. Almost as if Summer has seen a ghost, he loses concentration on the wave plane, and looks to where the kunai was thrown from. Akiza is once again heard from all around, “Who the fuck do you think you are!?”. The voice is enough to send Summer into a slight panic as he looks around for the voice. Only managing to say; “S-Shut Up!” His only reply is, “No… Go die…”
Now almost shaking in fear, Summer shudders as he looks around for the culprit. “St... Stop It” Once again, he receives one reply, this one more physical as he's launched to the air from behind, his back arching from the blow, then sent bent over from another to the stomach, being launched higher as a tornado swirls around him, then flings him out as he falls to the ground from an approximate 145 yards. Grasping for air as Summer struggles to stand up, he finds himself in a clearing. Taking a look around he remembers what just happened. “Who are you?!” At that instant, Akiza is heard behind him, seeming to be inches from behind his face, yet unseen. “Someone to fear…”
Almost like instinct, Summer spins around to fire behind him. The shot hits nothing as Akiza is heard from the original direction he was facing a moment ago, “Over here dumbass!” She giggles at the insult. Turning his head giving Akiza a cold stare, “Stay Out Of My Head!” Akiza,deciding that she's had enough of fucking with his head, stays in place.
Akiza is a pink colored pony with a darker pink colored hair, a bored yet amused smile on her face, a sword strapped to fit behind her back and over her shoulder as well as a kunai belt strapped to either hind leg, the kunai being a bright pink color, Akiza seems to have a wound on her left hip from one of Summer's earlier shots. “I'm not in your head…” The cannon on Summer’s shoulder starts to glow as he aims at Akiza’s head, Akiza smiling with a challenging look, “If you couldn't hit me well earlier, how are you gonna hit me now?”
“Like this.” A bass wave is shot in a horizontal line as Summer hopes that he hit her this time. Unfortunately, Akiza disappears somehow, re-appearing undamaged by that blast atop his head, “Nope… Try again!”
Akiza is suddenly in front of the cannon as it fires, she being flung into the trees as Summer runs after her to aim at her when he sees she has been impaled with a tree branch. “Heh… Don't think you've got me… You'll be thinking wrong…” With that Akiza seems to be replaced with a log impaled instead, a kunai landing behind Summer as this happens, blowing up as all the others have, Akiza appearing back at the clearing previous with a leap from the trees, landing on her hands and knees, panting heavily. “Playing defensive… Sucks ass…”
The explosion causes Summer to be thrown into the branch as he fires, the tree exploding and sending wood shards flying into Summer. His chest now being effectively shredded, he separates his atoms and travels through the air re-appearing in the clearing. This technique being known as a heat wave. Seeing he is right behind Akiza, he fires his cannon into her back then jumps back to heal. Pulling out every shard of wood, Summer feels woozy from blood loss right before he finally is able to heal. The blast leaves a hole in Akiza’s clothing on her back, also burning her back and planting her to the ground. Akiza laid there for a few moments before placing the her hands in a position to flip up then does so, flipping around to face him as she land, almost stumbling slightly from her wounds, however rights herself and draws her sword, it glowing a faded red color, a look of great annoyance and pain.
Summer finds he cannot win without killing himself in the engagement against her. He kneels under her blade and bows his head. “Strike me down… I cannot win this battle” With no expression, Akiza brings her sword from his shoulder to the air, putting it at an angle so as to take off his head and part of his shoulder, then strikes down, the sword never striking him as it impales itself into the ground in front of him, a hand appearing within Summer's view a second later.
Summer looks up really with a confused expression. “What?.. Why are you sparing me?” Akiza gives a small smile, hand still extended to him, “You're tactically good, I'll give ya that… Train harder and fight me again sometime, that was fun!”. After a bit of thinking, Summer takes her hand and stands up with a smile “I will.” Akiza smiles a bit bigger at his response and lightly yet quickly gives him a small kiss on the cheek, disappearing with a giggle. Rubbing his cheek a bit blushing before coming to a smile, heat waves off with a chuckle. “One Day.”
