Hey! My name is Lightning Streak, but you can go ahead and call me Streak, everypony else does…
So, anyway I never used to believe in the supernatural, you know like Vampires, werewolves, zombies and all that stuff… until they came for me.
I still remember that strange night. Well… I mean how could I forget? It’s a pretty prominent night in my life.
So let me begin my story with that night… The night I died.
…One month ago…
The air stank of sex and sweat. Lasers performed a spectacular light show high above the main floor of Club Eternia, cutting through the mist that had filled the club. A heavy beat was pounding throughout the club and ponies everywhere were jumping and dancing wildly to beat. The main dance floor was a mass of bodies packed tightly together, each one thrashing wildly to the driving rhythm. The strobe lights flickered across the dance floor illuminating the wild endless sea of chaos in front of me. I smiled and downed the rest of my drink before setting off into the swirling mass.
I pushed my way through the crowd, trying to get to the centre of the dance floor. I did make it there eventually, but not before having my flank repeatedly slapped by passing mares who each gave me a lustful glance.
Now finally at the heart of the dance floor I began to jump and thrash wildly letting the rhythm control my movements. It felt really good to dance and I didn’t care what anypony thought. Little did I know that I had attracted the interest of a particular pony.
She made her way through the crowd toward me from her dark corner. Fascination was rising within me as she started to dance next to me, shaking her flank seductively, her movements matching the rhythm exactly. I turned my head to gawk at her. I had never seen such a beauty before. I mean there’s beautiful and then there’s her.
The mare had an incredibly, lustrous cyan coat which seemed to sparkle and shimmer in the low club lighting with wings to match; her mane was spikey and silver but somehow seemed soft and lush at the same time; her perfect face looked as if it were carved from marble with dead gorgeous violet eyes.
My eyes traced her perfect figure coming to rest at her hindquarters. ‘That flank’ I thought, mentally running my hoof along it and up her back.
Apparently, she was thinking the same thing because she took me by the hoof and pulled me to the edge of the dance floor, back to her dark corner, where we sat down and ordered more drinks.
“So” she said staring at me intently, “What’s your story?”
“Umm… thersh… not mush… to tell” I responded slurring some of my words before regaining what little composure I had left. “I was born and raised in Cloudsdale. I moved here to Canterlot about six months ago, been working as a weather pony since, but I’ve got my sights set on the royal guards, I’ve already pass the preliminary tests with flying colors.” I boasted, pretty proud of my achievements.
“That is very interesting” she said slowly, her eyes transfixed on mine.
I downed the contents of my glass and gathered the courage to ask her the same question. “So what about you then, hmmm, what’s your story?” I asked boldly putting my face in hers.
“Maybe I’ll tell you after” She smiled seductively and leaned in for a kiss.
Oh man was my heart racing now. It was practically beating louder than the music, but I decided to play it cool though and act like I was totally in control. Mares’ like a tough stallion. “Maybe I wanna know now” I said leaning back just enough so she couldn’t reach me, tormenting her (which she seemed to enjoy).
“Fine then, but let’s go somewhere a little more private, perhaps one of the private VIP lounges” she whispered in my ear causing a tingle to run up my spine. ‘The VIP lounges’ I thought incredulously wondering just who in Equestria this mare was.
“Lead the way” I said still playing my tough pony act, when in actual fact my heart felt like it was going to burst out of my chest from the excitement. The mare took me by the hoof and guided me through the hallways of Eternia, stopping in front of a large set of black double doors. A bouncer pony stood at the entrance to the VIP lounges and immediately stood aside opening the door to let the mare past.
“Have a good evening miss Silver” the bouncer said as she passed, shooting her a knowing smile which she returned.
“Thank you. I believe I will” the mare replied softly. She tugged on my hoof, yanking me inside after her and as I passed the bouncer I could’ve sworn he muttered “poor unlucky bastard” under his breath as he shut the doors.

Now inside I took in my surroundings, absorbing every detail. The VIP lounges were a series of private rooms all lined up in a corridor and each door had a unique name on it. I didn’t, however, have time to read anything because the cyan mare was leading me toward a door with the name Afterlife written on it in red neon letters.
‘Afterlife huh, sounds like a real killer’ I thought giggling stupidly to myself at my own bad joke…
… Hold up before we continue I just want to say that in my defense I was heavily intoxicated and anything would’ve seemed hilarious, but let’s get back to the story…
We reached the door and were greeted by yet another bouncer who seemed to stumble for the door handle as the cyan mare approached.
“M-m-miss Silver l-let me get the door for you” he stammered. He had a completely different reaction from the first bouncer. It was as if he was afraid of her, reeling back in horror as she passed.
‘Ha, ha what a foal! How could anypony be afraid of such a beautiful creature?’ I thought sniggering to myself. My tongue was in between my teeth as I was trying not to fall over laughing…
… And there again, I was heavily intoxicated. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it...
The mare turned to look at me. She smiled when she saw I was enjoying myself and leant in closer to whisper in my ear again.
“Hey, come on don’t keep me waiting for too long, well, not that I’d leave you unattended anyway” she finished nibbling my ear softly.
I shivered and looked into her eyes. They were whispering secrets of what was to come, which excited me even more. By Celestia’s mane I would’ve wagered my heart beat was now a single sustained beat and that I’d keel over dead from excitement at any moment.
“Um… yeah, aight less get goin then” I said in a heavily slanged flurry of words, still trying to maintain the appearance of total casualness as if I was totally used to this kind of thing happening to me. She smiled again and pulled me through the door.

Once we had entered the room I gasped in astonishment at the décor. The walls were painted a deep blood red adorned with four large sets of black velvet drapes. There was a bar set up at the back of the room that spanned the entire length of the back wall. A variety of alcoholic drinks lined the bar shelves, some of which I had never even heard of. The room was illuminated by low lit lights of a pre-Celestian era, but perhaps the most striking object of my fixation were the ponies in the room.
Each one of them was just as beautiful and flawless as the cyan mare who had escorted me here and each of them turned to look at me.
“Oh don’t worry about them, they’re just curious is all, they don’t get out much” the mare whispered in my ear, laughing softly as she noticed my unease at being surrounded by such beautiful ponies.
I gave a small nervous chuckle and tried to pay them no attention. It worked to a small degree but I couldn’t shake the ominous feeling something wasn’t right here. My fears, however, were laid to rest when the mare brushed her lips across mine sending an electric pulse through my body. It felt incredible and threatened to break through my ‘cool pony’ façade. I had to use every ounce of self-restraint to keep a straight face.
“Well! Please, do continue” I said raising an eyebrow and grinning mischievously. The mare said nothing but instead took my hoof and pulled me through the crowd toward the bar, where the bartender sat in silence, watching us approach.
“Sup Silver! You want one of the private rooms I guess” He said nonchalantly, not even bothering to raise his head.
“Yes you guessed correctly… However…” she began, pausing whilst the bartender slowly raised his head to stare at her. “… I want the Crimson room” she finished as the bartender looked at her incredulously.
“S-Seriously you want the crimson room. I mean you seriously want the crimson room” He said with a dumbfounded look on his face.
“Yes” the mare responded quietly extending her hoof for the key.
“Of all the ponies who ask for that room, I never ever expected you to ask. Are you absolutely sure you wanna do that, I mean absolutely sure that you want to do that?”
By now I had started to get a little curious about this ‘crimson room’ but was too drunk to even begin to formulate a coherent question of that complexity. So I just listened… and swayed.
“Yes!” the mare answered slightly more agitated then before, as she emphasized the fact that she was still waiting for the key by shaking her hoof furiously.
The bartender gulped. “A-And you’re sure you want to commit to this?” He asked shakily reaching behind the counter and bringing out a small ornate crimson key which he then held over her waiting hoof, hesitating.
“Of course! I think I’m more than ready, I mean I do know how to do it after all” she said calmly and smiled darkly when she saw his face pale slightly.
“Here take the key and enjoy your stay” He said regaining his composure and smiling briefly at her. “Oh and you there…” he said motioning for me to come closer “… When it’s done please tell me how you felt, as it is different for everypony.”
“Uh… yeah… sure” I responded concentrating so hard not on not slurring my words that I didn’t even completely register what he said.
“Come on, hurry up when haven’t got forever” the mare said giggling to herself and beckoning me to follow her.

As we walked down the dimly lit hallway I kept hearing strange sounds, almost animalistic, coming from some of the doors as we passed. However in my current state I passed the sounds off as alcohol fueled hallucinations and continued following the cyan mare down the hallway. When she finally stopped my severely afflicted motor skills dictated that I should stop about three seconds after her, which left me in a rather intimate situation.
“Huh?” I said as I face planted right into her flank, my muzzle dangerously close to her nether region. I was blushing furiously as she turned around slowly and I screwed my eyes shut, waiting for the swift hoof to the face but it never came. I cautiously open one eye to find the mare smirking at me.
“You didn’t even hit the right target” she asked with cute pout on her face.
“Pray do tell. What was the intended target?” I asked boldly challenging her.
“Where do you think?” she said laughing when my face reddened even more. “You can try again when we’re alone” she smiled as she pulled out the key the bartender had given her and inserted it into a rather ornate crimson door, turning the key she threw the door open and lead me inside.

“Well? What do you think?” the mare asked me.
“It’s really red” I said plainly. The room was a simple room with crimson walls, crimson tiled floors, a crimson fridge, a crimson bed and all other furnishings were crimson. ‘That’s why they call it the crimson room I guess.’ I chuckled when I thought about this.
“You know…” the mare began slowly, closing the door and locking it “… I was originally planning to just feed on you, but, now I think I’d rather give you a gift…”
The mare was suddenly standing right behind me whispering in my ear, telling me to lie down and to my horror my body obeyed. Quietly I went over to the bed and flopped down onto it, my body it seemed, was no longer in my control, and as though I were responding to an unheard command I suddenly turned my head to the side exposing my neck.
‘Oh man, I finally meet a nice mare and now she’s gonna kill me. This sucks! Oh well might as well go out like a badass’ I thought to myself not exactly sure what this mare was planning.
“I don’t even know your name?” was all my body would let me say but it was enough to elicit a response.
“Silver… Silver Shadow” was all she said before I felt her breath on my neck causing me to shiver. “I-I’ll try not to hurt you” she said her voice trembling in anticipation.
‘Gee, Thanks’ I thought sarcastically. I really wasn’t scared just sad, there was still so much I had wanted to do with my life but I was at least a little happier knowing that it was her that would kill me. Call me shallow but she was hot and death by hot mare isn't such a bad thing in my books.
I let out a small gasp as something pierced my neck, but closed my eyes when I felt her lick at my neck enjoying the sensation of her lapping at my wound…
… Hey, even as drunk as I was, I still knew that she was drinking my blood. You don’t bite ponies for cider, but enough foaling around onward with the story…
… It hurt a little bit when she started to suck, drawing out my blood at a steady pace. She started to moan and sped up, now drinking with increased fervor. I could feel the blood racing through my veins at an accelerated pace. It wasn’t painful, no. Rather it was peaceful, like falling asleep.
I felt my eyelids become heavy and start to droop, I fought the feeling to close my eyes, but it was a losing battle as I felt waves of blackness start to wash over me. I really didn’t mind dying, not for her… not for Silver Shadow…
I felt my eyes start to close for good, when she suddenly released me. By now I was barely conscious and fighting for every moment of life. I watched silently as she raised her hoof to her mouth, which was stained with my blood, and bite into herself. I watched in fascination as her blood welled up from the wound.
She walked over to where I lay, motionless and barely conscious. “Drink!” she commanded holding her bleeding hoof in front of my mouth. She dripped some of her blood onto my lips when I didn’t respond, letting it seep into my mouth. By the heavens it tasted completely foul, however, the more I tasted the better it became until it was almost irresistible.
I suddenly found strength from seemingly nowhere and latched onto her hoof gripping it tightly as I drank groggily, my eyes still half closed. I could hear her whispering softly as I drank, “there, there, drink my fledgling drink” she crooned, speaking as though a mare would her foal.
It continued like that for about three minutes, me sipping quietly at her, until she withdrew her hoof and pushed me gently back into the bed. I lay there quietly, feeling the familiar onslaught of unconscious creeping back toward me. I could hear her faintly now as the walls of blackness came crashing down, consuming me and as I finally slipped away I heard her say.
“See you in the morning…”
… Time Unknown …
I felt life flood back into me as my eyes snapped open. I looked about slowly and carefully, taking in my surroundings, not knowing where in Equestria I was. I looked around the room I was in, everything was crimson. The crimson room I thought, suddenly remembering what had transpired here. That mare had drained my blood here, I’m surely dead.
As if answering my question I felt something shift against me, and looking down I noticed a hoof draped across my chest protectively, a cyan hoof. I turned over slowly and found myself muzzle to muzzle with the cyan pony.
She smiled warmly and gave a small chuckle as my body locked up in fear. I screwed my eyes shut as she raised a hoof. But to my surprise she raised her hoof to my face and lightly caressed it.
“You’ve been asleep for quite some time now” she crooned softly still tracing lines on my face. “Almost three days now.”
‘Three days!” I thought incredulously, I may never need to sleep again.
“Oh you don’t need to sleep anymore silly” she said laughing at the surprised look on my face as she just answered my unspoken question. “I can read your thoughts because we are of the same blood now” she said answering another unspoken question.
I tried to speak but all that came out was one word “Thirsty”. Once I said that I could feel an intense burning in my throat.
“Well we can’t have that now, can we?” she said and to my fleeting surprise she tilted her head to the side, exposing her delicate neck.
My eyes immediately zeroed in on her jugular vein and I felt two long pointed canine teeth slide from my upper jaw. I somehow knew what to do without consciously thinking of it, it was almost instinctual.
I positioned my fangs above her jugular and bit down… hard. A warm sweet liquid seeped from the wound and filled my mouth with a warm sensation. I started to suck at the wound drawing the liquid out slowly and somewhat intimately, causing the mare to sigh softly.
Suddenly her eyes rolled back into her head and her tongue flopped out of her mouth as a look of unimaginable ecstasy washed over her. She began to buck wildly, her wings snapping out to attention as she started to moan loudly.
Her voice cracked as she collapsed onto the bed and I climbed on top of her still drinking slowly from her. I wasn’t really sure what I was doing that was getting her off but it was really freakin hot and only served to spur me on.
Briefly removing my head from her neck, I could clearly see her body twitching involuntarily and she was beginning to drool. She looked at me through her half closed eyes and tried to speak but only devolved fragments of comprehensible speech escaped her lips.
“S-So… Goooood...” was all I could make as the rest of what was I assumed was a plea for me to continue, was lost in a flurry of animalistic moans.
I nuzzled back into her neck, without fangs this time, sliding my tongue along the wound and watching in fascination as the two hole closed shut, leaving no trace that they were ever there. I was more or less finished drinking by then. I licked the remaining blood from around her neck and proceeded to raise my head to stare into blissed out eyes.
I felt a strong sense of gratitude toward the mare for letting me feed off her and there was only one way I could think of repaying her…
I smiled slowly, leaning in and kissing her firmly on the lips (which were stained and dripping with her blood), I felt her tongue push into my mouth. The saliva had mixed with her blood, creating a potent mixture which she lapped up hungrily.
Whilst I had her distracted by my mouth, I slowly slid my hoof down toward her moist sex. She froze and her eyes snapped open as I continued downward. I could hear her breathing becoming shallow and labored as I stopped just above it, torturing her by moving slowly back up again.
Her mind was slipping, I could feel it. she couldn't take anymore without the risk of insanity. I had reduced her to nothing more than a quivering animal no longer capable of coherent thought.
‘Time to finish this!’ I thought as I finally thrust my hoof down onto her quivering nether, causing her to scream in ecstasy as her eyes began to dilate wildly. I started to move my hoof, rubbing her slit slowly and causing her to buck against it.
She didn’t last long, as I soon felt her nethers twitch involuntarily and knew she had reached her limit. She moaned loudly and started to grind against my hoof faster and faster.
The mare gave one last buck and screamed loudly. Her back arched off the bed and her hind legs crossed, gripping my hoof tightly as she climaxed over and over again. Her muscles clenching every time as she rode the waves of ecstasy.
When she finally finished, her body slumped back down into the bed, twitching spasmodically with a look of total euphoria on her face. Her tongue was still hanging out as she panted heavily.
I looked down at my hoof, which was coated in her warm juices and raised it to my mouth. Narrowing my eyes as I slowly licked my hoof clean in front of her.
I laughed darkly as I heard her gulp loudly. I had never felt so alive.

“By the heavens…” She sighed blissfully finally able to talk after about five minutes. “You almost made me lose my mind!” she said with a dreamy blissed out look on her face.
“Really, how?” I asked quietly, intrigued as to what I had actually done.
“Well sometimes certain vampires…” she began.
“Ah… I think you are mistaken, I’m not a vampire. They don’t exist” I said interrupting her and confidently stating my point.
“Then why do you have fangs? And if you truly aren’t a vampire then why did you drink my blood?” She questioned me, smiling as my face paled.
‘I-I can’t be a… a’ I thought, my mind unable to comprehend the idea was reeling in shock. I was in denial even as the evidence pointed toward me being a vampire. I closed my eyes and began to sob softly as I licked along the roof of my mouth and found two long, needle-like canines. I hung my head in sorrow.
I flinched when I felt her put a hoof on me and tilt my chin up so I was facing her, my eyes still shut.
“Open your eyes” she said softly.
“N-No I-I’m a monster” I choked out, tears rolling down my cheeks. I flinched again when I felt a sharp sting on my face. I opened my eyes and stared at her.
She was seething with rage, her hoof raised to strike me again but I cringed in fear and her features softened. “Don’t ever call yourself that, you’re not a monster” She said softly running her hoof through my mane.
“Oh yeah? You show me how I’m not a monster then?” I challenged her not convinced by what she had said.
“Could a monster have done what you just did to me?” she replied staring deeply into my eyes.
“Yes! I used you and that’s exactly what a monster does” I cried, collapsing and weeping into her lap.
“It breaks my heart to see you like this. That you would look upon yourself and even me as a monster” she said beginning to tremble.
I watched silently as a single tear rolled down her face and dripped onto my muzzle. My eyes widened and something shattered inside me. I felt a strange urge to hold and comfort the mare, so that’s exactly what I did.
“Hey, I never said you were a monster.” I said quietly putting my wing around her and pulling her into a tight embrace.
“Yes but calling yourself a monster means you are indirectly calling me a monster. We share the same blood, I sired you. So now we are connected by blood, I feel everything you feel and vice versa” she said crying softly.
‘S-she sired me and I can feel everything she feels?’ I thought. ‘That would explain why I felt the sudden need to comfort her when she was sad.’ I felt really bad for making her cry, so I kissed her gently on the cheek and offered a sincere smile.
“Well you convinced me” I said beaming as she looked sideways at me.
“Huh how?” she asked.
“A monster cannot feel love” I said staring intently at her. “Anyway you were trying to tell me something before I rudely interrupted you?” I said noticing her ears perk up and a smile return to her face.
“Uh… yeah I was trying to tell you, that certain vampires have an intoxicating scent that ensnares its prey, couple that with the fact that their saliva contains a powerful aphrodisiac and this makes the vampire almost irresistible… we call them Deviants” She said beaming at me.
‘A powerful aphrodisiac, aye, I guess this means I’ve got one hell of a love bite then!’ I snorted softly at my own joke, not wanting to draw Silver’s attention.
“Yes you do have one hell of love bite” she said laughing at me.
‘Crap! I forgot that she can hear my thoughts. Better change the topic.’ I thought cursing my stupidity.
“S-So am I d-dead?” I asked slightly scared.
“Well, technically you have no heartbeat which I guess qualifies as being dead… Soooo yes you are more or less dead” she finished waiting silently for me to ask more questions, which I fully intended to.
“I heard you saying fledgling when you… you know… earlier. What does that mean?” I asked unable to say when she killed me.
“That is your status within the coven, you are new blood and I am your master or sire.” She answered smiling with a deep sense of pride.
“Coven?” I said blankly.
“You belong to House Nocturne. That is your home from now on” She said again still remaining silent after her answer.
“Okay, D-Do I have to k-kill p-ponies to survive?” I asked choking on the word kill. I had been trying to avoid asking that question for fear that I may not like the answer. Long story short… I was right.
“Unfortunately while you don’t have to actually kill them to survive, you will do it anyway…” she said sympathetically as she saw my face pale and drop, tears forming in my eyes. She again put her hoof under my chin and pulled my head back up.”… I know it’s hard, I was the same when I was fledgling too” she exclaimed patting my head softly.
“But if I have to feed on mortal ponies to survive. Why did I drink from you then?” I asked puzzled.
“Vampires like to be fed on by other vampires. It’s a very intimate thing feeding on another vampire and it feels really pleasant… Not like what you did that was something more intense” She said answering an unspoken question. “Which reminds me, I’ve got friends who will just love to get their hooves on you for a night… Deviants are really quite rare and coveted. It would be selfish of me not to share you with the coven.” Silver finished looking proudly at me…
… After she said “share” me. I guessed that polygamy was the norm for vampires …
… I felt a twinge of excitement inside myself at the prospect of being shared and decided to find out more information about being a deviant.
“So why exactly am I so coveted?” I asked staring at her.
“Because of the nature of your bite, once word gets out that you’re a deviant, mares will try to court you by bringing you gifts in hope of winning your favor. Having a deviant will also boost the overall reputation of house Nocturne.” She finished again feeling proud of her fledgling.

“Wow! This is all so much to take in. Could you…” I began but was interrupted by a quiet knock on the door.
“… Hey you done in there, can we come in yet?” a voice asked.
“Fine!” shouted Silver angrily.
The door opened with a creak and two ponies stepped inside. One of them was wearing large purple shades and the other was wearing a small purple bowtie. They closed the door behind them and turned their attention toward Silver.
I could smell something that made my throat burn instantly. I sniffed the air, following the scent over to the pony wearing the bowtie, I licked my lips and bared my fangs, letting a small primal hiss come from deep within my throat and suddenly I leapt off the bed, spontaneously appearing behind the grey mare startling her.
“Hi there” I said quietly, leaning close to her ear. I could feel her warmth as my eyes focused on her neck, more specifically on the bulging vein in her neck. The mare’s legs started to shake, barely able to support herself as my scent aroused her. I moaned in agony as the thirst began to build, becoming uncomfortable. I stood over the mare as she collapsed on the ground, salivating as I gently licked her neck.
Suddenly I heard somepony scream at me. “NO! Get away from her!” they screamed and I felt a sharp pain in my stomach as that somepony kicked me… hard. I fell over landing on the ground holding my stomach, whimpering, not in pain but in hunger. I heard Silver scream with rage and watched her leap in front of me, protecting me from a blue maned pony.
“I’ll rip your throat out for that Scratch!” She screeched, her fangs sliding out and her eyes glowing red.
“That makes two of us then!” the mare spat back, removing her glasses and letting her own fangs slide out…
… Hang on this is too good to pass up… ahem… MAREFIGHT!!! Now let us return to matters at hoof …
I stared silently as the two mares glared at each other. They both looked ready to tear each other’s heads off. I stood up ignoring the intense hunger pains. I walked swiftly over to Silver and put my hoof on her shoulder.
The touch seemed to relax her and her rage subsided. Her fangs slowly retracted and her eyes returned to their deep violet color. I pushed in front of her to face the blue maned pony.
“I’m sorry Miss Scratch. Please forgive my despicable actions, I am still new to this so I haven’t got a full grasp on it yet” I said sincerely looking into her eyes and putting on the most adorable face possible… It worked.
The mare stopped growling and stared at me suspiciously before saying “S’all cool, I forgot you were only just turned” she said putting her glasses back on and proceeding to help the grey mare shakily to her hooves.
“You okay Octy?” Scratch asked concerned.
“Yes Vinyl, love I’m fine” The grey mare responded, still having trouble standing properly.
“Vinyl Scratch, the DJ right?” I said just spit balling and waiting for confirmation of my theory.
“The one and only” She replied swinging her mane wildly around her head and adjusting her glasses. “… And this is Octavia” she said pointing a hoof toward the grey mare.
“My apologies ma’am” I said taking her hoof and kissing it gently. I don’t know why I did that or why I started to act sophisticated, I just felt right for some reason.
“Oh… A gentlecolt now are we?” Octavia said raising her eyebrow slightly, questioning him.
“A-ha ha… Sorry about trying to kill you before” I said smiling nervously whilst rubbing my head with my hoof.
“I’m just teasing you, I forgive you…” She began. “… You caught me off guard, normally you’d find I could easily defend myself” she finished smiling warmly at my puzzled expression.
“Octavia is a lycanthrope” Vinyl said wryly.
“A werewolf, seriously t-that’s… but that’s… not actually that surprising” I said resigning to the fact that there was probably a lot more supernatural creatures then I was aware of.
“Oh yeah, want one better Scratch, he’s a deviant” Silver said nonchalantly motioning toward me.
Although I normally hate to boast I really did enjoy Vinyl’s reaction. She lowered her glasses to stare at me with her mouth hanging open.
“He’s… he’s… but… Wha!” she fumbled as Octavia walked over.
“Vinyl, love, your staring to drool” she said using a hoof to close the DJ’s mouth.
“If I wasn’t so whipped by Octy here I might have been inclined to… umm… buck you stupid” Vinyl said suddenly recovering and staring at me, her tail twitching…
… I’ll be honest, that scared the crap out of me and at the same time sounded freakin HAWT …
… “You might want to learn teach him some self-defense… cause when this gets out it’ll be open season on all deviants.” Vinyl said turning to face Silver. They both shared a concerned look.
‘Oh crap! What the hell is the problem now!’ I thought more annoyed than scared.
Again Silver felt my annoyance and responded. “You know heat week right, where all the mares are in season…”
“Yeah, of course I’m a stallion, I’ve had more than my share of time manning the damn battlements from crazy mares” I chuckled trying to lighten the intensely heavy atmosphere of the room. However I failed to notice that there were only mares in the room and as a result I received a barrage of hooves to the face.
“… Anyway, because you’re the only deviant for miles, you’ll have mares throwing themselves at you all the time. Not literally, but…” Silver trailed off, clearly lost for a way to best explain this.
“… To put it simply, you’ll have to maintain a real hardass attitude to keep them at bay.” Vinyl finished for her.
“Hardass attitude?” I questioned.
“Yeah, you’ll have to be a real dick to them. Do stuff like slam em face first into walls and talk real bad to em. But then again that might get some of em off.” She answered a dirty smile on her face.
“O-Oh I don’t think I could do that to anypony” I said horrified at her description of hardass.
“Whimp! Well I guess you could just act all cool and stuff that might make em too scared to approach you” she said rubbing a hoof on her chin thoughtfully as Octavia embraced her and offered a suggestion.
“Perhaps you could teach him to be a DJ like you… You’re the coolest pony I know Vinyl” She said causing Vinyl’s eyebrow to rise slightly.
“Aight if it’s all cool with you Silver I’ll teach him to be cool? Cause you know I’m the definition of cool.” Vinyl asked inquisitively.
“It’s alright with me. I think it would be nice for him to spend time with others besides me. I’m sure you could show him the ropes and point out all the other inhabitants of the shadow society” She replied.
“Does anypony care what I think?” I said finally voicing my opinion.
“Not really” they all said in unison.
“Aight it’s settled then. You start your training in about three hours… you know when the club opens” Vinyl said before turning around and walking out of the room, Octavia following right behind her leaving me and Silver alone.
“So hey, I never learned your name by the way” Silver asked blushing.
“Yeah it does seem weird that you would kill me and not even bother to know my name.” I said teasing her. “It’s Lightning Streak” I said finishing with a chuckle.
“Well, Lightning welcome to the first night of forever…” she said smiling.
“So what are we going to do for three hours?” I asked seductively hoping she was on the level.
“Oh I might have a few ideas” She giggled and winked at me
I had a strange feeling that it was going to be one long night...
