Melodia has lived on the borders of Equestria her whole life. But when her mother dies from a mysterious sickness, it leaves her with a small amount of money, and what's left of their food. In search of a better life for herself, she moves to Ponyville. With no family, no money, no job, and no cutiemark, she has to find her place in this world. However, she might be more different from the ponies than she thought.
