A step towards acceptance

Rose looked out the window and listened to the click-clack of the train hitting the tracks as it sped towards its final destination, home. ‘I can't believe but just dropped everything to come with me.’ Rose thought. ‘He said that Snap was old enough to take care of his sister. I believe him because he told me last night when everypony was asleep, that he taught him to cook a few dinners. Just like his mom taught him. I think he's lucky to have me. As I am lucky to have him.’
