Twilight's Contract with Death

"Well Celestia," Death says with a smile as he opens the door of her room and gives her a small bow. "How are you this morning?”

“I’m well, Death, I-I mean… Master…” she replies, trying to stay in character, as per her contract with her. “Did you sleep well?”

"I slept very well. Thank you for asking. Though I will admit that I missed having you sleeping at my side," He replies with a smile and then walks up to her bed and then pets her head gently.

“I know. I have too. But being a mother has its responsibilities too, right?”

"Yes it does, but I know that you love caring for our foal don't you?" He asks and then lifts her chin with his hoof and leans in to kiss her lips softly.

Celestia moans softly into the kiss, kissing him back before she hears their foal, a Pegasus filly start to become fussy, which she usually is when she wakes up.

Death breaks their kiss and looks over at the crib that their filly was resting in. "You may go and take care of her. I'm going to take care of one last thing around here then I will want to hold my little filly," He says and looks over his body. "Don't wanna scare her right?”

Celestia nods and goes over to her daughter’s crib and gently lifts her with her warm, yellow magical aura. “Awww, come here sweetie… Everything okay?” she says to the young filly, nuzzling her warmly,

Death smiles and then walks out of her room and then closes the door and sheds his disguise that he put on around Celestia and their filly. "Now for business."

“It’s okay… It’s okay… Mommy’s hear for you sweetie…” Celestia says softly, gently rubbing the filly’s back gently to calm her down.

As the filly cries she slowly calms down and then nuzzles into her mother's chest and coos softly as the tears that were sliding down her young face rub off in her mother's white fur.

“There, there… There’s nothing to be afraid of…” The Alicorn looks up and sees Death in his pony form return to the room. “Glad you’re back.”

"Thank you my dear Celestia. Is she doing ok?" He asks and looks down at their daughter and then leans in and nuzzle their daughter's forehead softly.

“She’s still a bit fussy, but she’s calming down a bit. Want to see if you can finish the job?”

"Of course," He says and holds out his foreleg as his horn glows and lifts his daughter from Celestia's grasp and sets her down in his own. "How are you little one?" He asks and then kisses her forehead softly.

The filly coos against her father’s gently touch, giggling as he kisses her forehead.

"There you go. There's that smile mommy and daddy like to see," He says and smiles at her before giving her a happy smile.

The little pony extends her tiny hooves as she looks at her daddy, wanting a hug.

He lifts her up and then hugs her gently. "Love you too sweetie.”

She coos cutely as she hugs her daddy with her hooves, nuzzling him softly.

He smiles and then gives her nose a gentle nuzzle. "Do you want mommy to hold you?" He asks and then looks up at Celestia who had a smile on her face.

“I’ll hold her if you want…” Celestia grins lighting up her horn, offering to hold her daughter again.

"Here you go my pet," He says and holds out his hoof and then waves a hoof at her as she floats from him.

Celestia then holds the filly in her magic, seeing a smile on her face. “I don’t know what you do, but you always seem to calm her down when I can’t.”

"It's a father thing. You'll pick up on your motherly instinct soon," He says and then winks at her. "I must be on my way. Your sister wants me to speak with her about some business between she and I.”

“Understood, Master. Tell her I send her my wishes and I say hello. Also, tell her I am doing well under your care.”

"I will and make sure to get yourself some food and drink. Don't want my pet starving while I'm away," He says and then leans in and licks her nose teasingly before quickly turning back to the door.

“Of course!” she giggles. “Have a safe trip!”

"I will and I am sure that it will not be a boring one either," He says before he vanishes into a portal that appears before him as he looks over his shoulder at his pet and filly.

Both Celestia and their daughter wave towards daddy before he disappears into the portal.
