No More Tears
Story Telling
Previous Chapter"And that's the whole story, doc!" Cynical said as he rocked back and forth on the chair, wishing the comfy jacket he was in didn't restrict his hoof or wing movement. "Now you tell me a story! Oh! Make it about dragons! I've never seen a dragon before! I hear they could cut off a pony's head with their bare claws!"
"Ugh, no. That will be all Mr.Storm" the therapist said as he got up and left the padded room. Once he was safely outside the room, he two royal guards posted outside his cell took their positions closer to the door.
"Is there any hope for him?" Princess Celestia asked as she watched Cynical rock back and forth on his chair while sining to himself, thru a double sided mirror.
"Honestly your highness, I don't see a happy ending for Mr. storm." The therapist said as he double checked his notes as he approached the princess of the sun.
"What do you recommend, Doctor?" Princess Celestia asked as she closed her eyes and said a silent prayer for her mentally broken pony.
"A regular institution would put other ponies at risk" the therapist began. "He's far too dangerous. I recommend the maximum security prison, the Iron Lock prison in the Misty mountains."
"Is that really nessisary?!" Concern heavy in Princess Celestia's voice as she raised her brow at the therapist.
"No pony has ever broken out of there, and if Cynical did break out, the prisoners and guards could defend themselves." The therapist sighed and looked the princess in the eye. "It's for his own good. As well as the good of every pony in Equestria..."
Both the princess and the therapist turned and watched as Cynical began a conversation with himself, his black and yellow eyes glowing brighter now as his eye lids fully retracted.
"... So you're the guy in charge?" Cynical was alone in the padded room, but appeared to be talking to somepony or something.
"Writer? So my life is just a bedtime story?" The deranged pegusus asked, then paused.
"So are the kiddies pissing their jammies right now? Afraid uncle Stormy's gunna come up from under their bed and slide them to pieces?" The demented Pegasus' voice sharpened immediately as his pupils dilated.
Cynical paused again, eyes darting around the ceiling of the padded room, appearing to listen to the silence. His expression changed from amused to aggravated.
"What's the damn point?! Why bother to write it if you don't want anyone to read it?!" Cynical seemed to be yelling at the ceiling now, kicking the table in front of him violently. "Why make me relive this?! Why make me remember?! Why not just let me disappear?! I SWEAR I WILL FUCKING FIND YOU, AND WHEN I DO, IM GOING TO MAKE YOU WISH YOU WERE DEAD!!! DO YOH HEAR ME?!?! FUCKING DEAD, YOU FUCKING PRICK ASSHOLE!!!"
At that time, some of the nurses rushed into Cynical's room, desperate to calm him down. One of them prepared an anesthetic while the others did their best to hold him down. But Cynical refused to go down without a fight. He began kicking at the nurses as they tried to restrain him, even going as far as to head butt one in the face, causing her to double over, bleeding from her mouth. Princess Celestia had seen enough. She cast her golden magical aura around the aggressive grey pegasus, stopping all movement from him. But his breathing was erratic, after one of the nurses injected him with the anesthetic, he began to clam down, and eventually, Cynical drifted off into a deep sleep.
Princess Celestia sighed and turned back to the therapist. "Ok... You have my permission to send him to Iron Lock." She turned back to the grey pegasus, who was now sleeping soundly. "I just wish there was something more I could do for him...."
"Well... from what we've seen, he likes toys and games..." the therapist reviewed his notes. "He might be making up for the lack of an actual foalhood."
'I'm sure sister and I can find some toys he might like, if he behaves' Celestia thought as her eyes once again fell upon the tormented young colt turned killer. She felt sorry for him. The acts he's done in the mansion, the horrible mess he left behind, the lives he's taken were the end result of a life no pony should ever live. Because of everything he had been through, Cynical can no longer see the beauty and peace in the world. He can shed no more tears. Not for joy. Not for love. Not for loss. Nothing. No more tears...
