Twilight was in her room cooped up and crying as she was having nightmares of Rarity hurting her. She wondered if they were true. She wanted to find out but didn't know how to do it without being suspisious. She didn't even know why she was thinking this stuff since Rarity would never do a thing to harm her. She wants to ask but then Rarity would probably do it or bring Twilight to a therapist. She decided to tell Rarity anyway. She went to Raritys house she knocked and Rarity answered. Rarity let Twilight come in and they both sat down and talked to eachother.
"Twilight how are you doing?" Rarity asked gently. Twilight shook her head and cried. Rarity frowned she hoped that Twilight was okay as she wondered what happened.
"What's wrong? Why are you so emotional? Rarity asked. Twilight looked up to Rarity and spoke.
"Would you ever hurt me?" Twilight asked. Rarity gasped at the question as she couldnt believe that Twilight would ask this.
"Of coarse not!! I'm your friend! Where did you get that shit from?!" Rarity exclaimed upset.
"I-I don't know!!" Twiligt asked. Rarity shook her head in bewilderment. She couldent believe they were having a conversation like this.
"Dont you ever think that I would hurt you! I would hate myself if i hurt you or any of my friends for that matter! I would never hurt any of my friends!" Rarity exclaimed upset at Twilight for saying such a horrendous thought.
"But I heard you having a quiet conversation with a friend of yours! Your going to hold me down aren't you!?" Twilight asked accusingly. Rarity was horrified when she heard that and felt sick as she got disgusting images of what twilight just suggested.
"Twilight?! Why the hell are you saying all this crap!? I'm not conspiring against you and I'm not going to hurt you! I love you I would never hurt Somepony I love! That would make me a disgrace!" Rarity said trying to convince Twilight.
"Because I had a nightmare of you harming me! It was all to realistic and I was afraid." Twilight exclaimed as much as she could. Rarity hugged her tightly.
"I will never hurt you! That was just a dream nothing more! Rarity exclaimed. Twilight was relieved.
"Thanks Rarity I'm sorry for thinking that! You must think I'm sick!" Twilight said sadly starting to tear up. Rarity pulled Twilight to her and hugged her.
"No you are not sick it was just a bad dream! Why would I hurt you though!? I care about you so much that I would be devastated if you were hurt! Please understand this! A lot of dreams seem scary and real and I know you must have had a really horrific one to come to me to ask me. I would never hurt you!" Rarity said. Rarity hugged Twiligh tight. Twilight was relieved and agreed that Rarity had a good point, they then broke away from the hug and she spoke curious to what the dream was like.
"What happened in this dream and why did it scare you so much?" Rarity asked. Twilight sighed and spoke.
"If I told you you would be upset." Twilight said sadly. Rarity touched Twilights shoulder and rubbed it reassuringly then let go.
"I might be upset but I need to know!" Rarity said. Twiligt thought for a minute and decided to tell her.
"Will you be mad?" Twilight asked. Rarity was bewildered.
"Of coarse not! You can't help a bad dream! It's okay Twilight tell me please I need to know in order to help you!" Rarity asked.
"What if I don't want to tell you?" Twilight asked.
"Then you dont have to tell me." Rarity said softly. Rarity walked them over to a couch Twilight took a deep breath and decided her decision.
"So do you promise your not going be mad?" Twilight asked. Rarity shook her head no.
"Of coarse not! Dreams cannot be helped." Rarity reassured. Twilight took a deep breath and looked at Rarity while Rarity was waiting. Twilight then went into a detailed graphic explanation of what she dreamed of. Rarities eyes widened. When Twilight was done Rarity sat there shocked with and open mouth. She couldent believe anything that she just heard. Rarity hugged Twilight.
"That's sick Twilight! That's the most awful thought that I ever heard from a nightmare! That's disgusting! I would never do that! That's a very wicked and cruel dream! I would never act like that towards you! I love you! Rarity exclaimed pleading with her to believe her. Twilights face softened as she knew Rarity was telling the truth.
"Why did you even ask if it was really going to happen when it's not!? Do...do you not trust me? Do you think I'm dangerous!?" Rarity yelled the last part but calmed down and let Twilight explain.
"Of coarse I trust you and I should have never believed that disgusting awful dream we have been friends for years I have no idea what came over me. I'm so sorry! I should have never opened my mouth!" Twilight sobbed.
"No I'm glad you told me so that I can calm you down! Twilight it was just a dream I will never hurt you because I love you!" Rarity exclaimed. Soon after that happiness entered Twilight.
"Thank you so much for listening! I'm so sorry i looked at that nightmare and scared me so much that I had to ask you!" Twilight sobbed. Rarity calmed Twilight down and spoke.
"I would never hurt you! I'm so sorry you had such an enormous lifelike dream. A lot of nightmares and dreams plague people and I'm saddened to see this every day!" Rarity said quietly.
"It's okay Rarity I trust you now thank you so very much!" Twilight exclaimed cheerfully. The rest of the day Twilight made up the day with shopping. Twilight wasn't so scared of he dream any more and she couldent believe that she was so dumb to realize that her friends would never hurt her. She loved her friends and so did her friends and all of her friends have a very deep bond and if one gots hurt by the other it would put a crack through their friendship.
That night Twilight was in bed afraid of going to sleep but then she remembered what Rarity said about dreams and she went to sleep with courage. That night the dream stopped coming.
"It was a fake dream. I'm safe." She said to herself. The next day she informed Rarity and Rarity hugged her.
"See there was nothing to worry about! I'm so sorry you had that dream!" Rarity said Softy. Twilight phone smiled and realized that Rarity was right! She had no idea why Twilight had such a strange dream involving Rarity. They both hugged and Rarity spoke.
"Thanks for saving me from my nightmare." Twilight said softly. Twilight cried tears of happiness as Rarity held her close.
"Don't thank me! I'm just doing my job to convince my friend that I won't hurt her!" Rarity declared.
"I am truely grateful! She exclaimed. They both released the hug as Twilight knew that she was safe with her friend and she shouldn't have worried about a dream like that. They were both happy that Rariy succeeded in putting Twilight at ease.
