Equestria is at peace now thanks to the efforts of the alicorn prince, Solaris. The kingdom has changed for the better under his rule. Now, as the years passed, he wants to start a family, and with magic to aid him, he's able to find a way for him and his changeling lover, Trill, to conceive a child. And through the grueling pregnancy the changeling will suffer through, Solaris and Trill will have themselves a healthy little filly, half pony and half changeling.

Now comes a challenge that the alicorn stallion will face, far worse than his trials and confrontation against the dark unicorn stallion who took his family away: being a father to his pony/changeling daughter.
