//-------------------------------------------------------// A Invisible Rarity -by Luigifan7013- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 “”With my newest fashion line, I'm sure to win at the fashion showcase!” Rarity had a large grin, while looking over some of her newest dresses for any imperfections. “Can't argue with you there. You should be golden with these clothes!” Rainbow slowly pulled out one of the newest dresses, rolling her eyes at the pink lace. “If you want to win then we need to get going. It starts in five minutes!.” Sunset reminded then, turning her arm so that both of them could see her watch. “What! Why didn’t you tell us sooner!” Rainbow yelled, grabbing on of the carts holding Rarity's new clothes and running out the door. “We have to get there on time, otherwise I’ll be...disqualified!” Rarity swayed to the side for a minute, and a wave of nausea from the new stress rushed over her. Shaking her head, she managed to regain her composure and chased after Rainbow Dash with the other cart. Sunset Shimmer had been the last to leave, closing the door behind them. A couple minutes later, the human 7 arrived just a minute before it was time for the fashion showcase. Rarity's friends took their seats while Rarity remained in the backstage area. Quickly, she finished getting her fashion line set the way she prepared and took her spot next to the other contestants. “We'll well well, if it isn't Rarity,” Rarity jumped slightly at the familiar voice that had appeared behind her. “Suri Polomare!” Rarity growled, turning around to see her archrival Suri Polomare had pale pink skin, purple hair that had been done in a pin up style bun, a cyan blue shirt with a matching skirt that bore her cutie mark, and a purple jacket that matched her hair color. “It’s been awhile.” Suri smirked, looking Rarity’s outfit from boots to hair. “Yes. it most certainly has.” Rarity took a step back, while folding her arms. “What...you’re not going to compliment on my designs? I worked more on them then I did for my last line.” Suri explained as she pointed towards her hanging card. Rarity noticed that all of the outfits all looked the same, or with very small differences. “Those all look...nice. However, there are all the same besides being in different styles. It reminds me more of a uniform” Rarity smirked, as Suri face turned a slight shade of red as she attempted to hold back her anger. Taking a deep breath, Suri couldn’t help but let out a chuckle. “Say what you want hagity. I'm still go on a win.” Suri said confidentially, turning around to double check her clothes were the way she wanted them one last time. “I am not a hag!” Rarity yelled before storming off and triple checking her line before she had to showcase it. Rarity went over and stood next to her clothes, waiting patiently for her turn in the showcase. However, Rarity couldn’t help but keep her eye on Suri. As innocent as the showcase seemed, something seemed off about Suri. “Ms. Rarity… you’re on in two minutes.” Rarity’s head shot up as the stagehand called her name. Taking a deep breath, she brought her cart by the entrance to the stage and waited for her signal to go. “Well here it goes!” Rarity said with a deep breath as she took her cart on stage. While she did Suri grinned and quickly went over to Rarity's bag, pulling out a small vial of clear liquid out of her jacket pocket. Carefully going through the bag, she found what she had been looking for and pulled out Rarity’s water bottle. Pouring a small amount of the liquid into her water, Suri quickly shook the water bottle before placing it back into the bag. A moment later, Rarity came back and quickly noticed Suri grinning and watching Rarity. “What did you do?” Rarity asked while grabbing her backpack from the chair, and sliding the strap over her shoulder. “Who me? Come on, would I ever do anything to you hagity.” Suri said with a small giggle, while grabbing her cart and heading towards the stage. “For the last time is Rarity!” “Whatever hagity!” Rarity face glowed red with steam coming out of her ears as she let out a deep breath. “Fine if that's how it is then I'm leaving after I win!” Rarity growled, trying to keep her voice down so she wouldn’t disrupt the other contestants. “Sure say what you want, but we all know who's going to win.” Suri stated pointing at herself. With a huff, Rarity folded her arms and turned her back on her archrival before the announcer called all the contestants back to the stage. “Magnificent clothing lines. Amazing job everyone. Unfortunately, only one can win.” The judge held up a piece of paper, before standing up and clearing her throat. “And the winner of the fashion showcase is...“Rarity! Congratulations.” “WHAT!” Suri shouted while stomping her foot on the wooden floor. “As if there had been any doubt. Now if you’ll excuse me, I must go claim my award. Don't worry darling, at least you got second place.” Rarity taunted as she descended the stairs to go get her certificate. “Suri gritted her teeth in anger but quickly smiled “Whatever. Hope you have a nice walk home.” Later that day…… Rarity was humming to herself as she walked home. Her friends had offered to take her fashion line to her home, so she wouldn't have much to worry about. She naturally expected, but chose to walk. It had been a nice day, so why ruin it? As Rarity walked down the sidewalk, she began to feel tired. “Just a quick break won’t hurt anything.” She told herself, while sitting on a nearby bench. Getting her water bottled out, she twisted the lid off and took a sip of water. The cool water providing relief to her dry throat.Smiling, she finished the water and placed the bottle back into her bag. “Ahhhhhh, that's better.” Rarity said refreshed as she got up and continue her walk home. As she walked down the sidewalk, her white skin began to disappear. Not noticing this, she continued walking. The fashionista was now invisible. Well mostly. All but her, except for her clothes which were still visible. It didn’t take long for a group of girls to see Rarity's floating clothes, due to Rarity still wearing them. “GHOST!!” One girl screamed as the group ran away from Rarity, who became very confused. Before Rarity could ask anything, a guy saw her and reacted the same way “Please don’t hurt me spirit!!” He yelled running away from Rarity as well. Rarity had now become very confused and irritated, but decided to shrug it off for now. “Ghost? I'm not seeing any ghost.” Rarity whispered irritated. “Oh well I better powder my face. All this work is just positively ruining my makeup.” As Rarity pulled out her powder carrier with a small mirror, she look into her reflection and gasped in shock. Accidentally dropping the mirror in the process. “My face! My beautiful face! What...what happened!” She asked in shock. Rarity knew someone would see her, so the fashionista ran into a nearby ally and and sighed in relief when she notice no one was around. “Oh what am I going to do? I can't go home not like this! Oh what is a lady to do when she's invisible!” Rarity cried. It was then that she then realized that she was invisible, however her clothes weren’t. She then got a idea, that she beyond dreaded. “Oh I can't go home naked, but I don't want to scary anyone,” Rarity sighed knowing she had two options. She could strip naked or stay hidden. “I can't believe I'm doing this but is better than saying hidden.” Knowing there was no way she could stay hidden that long, she let out sigh. The now invisible Fashionista then began taking off her clothes. She started with her boots and socks. Next she pulled her shirt off and undid her belt before pulling her skirt down and stepping out of it. She now stood in only her bra and panties. “Oh this is so humiliating!” Rarity moaned as she pulled her panties down to her feet and stepping out of them. Lastly she unhooked her bra, freeing her boobs. Rarity now stood completely nude and invisible. “Now to figure out how to undo this invisibility issue..” The fashionista moaned as she began walking while covering herself up with her hands. Sure she was invisible, but still she was embarrassed beyond belief. At that moment Suri who had been following Rarity could only grin, as she took all of Rarity's clothes including her undergarments. “All of according to plan.” She chuckled before walking off with Rarity's clothes. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 Rarity walked slowly as she streaked through Canterlot, with a blush on her face. Sure, no one could see her; but running around in a public places naked still had to be the most embarrassing moment of her life. “This is the worst...possible...thing!” Rarity kneeled down in a corner, taking a moment to think. “Perhaps I should go see Twilight? She shouldn’t have any issue reversing my invisible... whatever this is. I hope.” Rarity whispered, looking around at the nearby people. Taking a deep breath, Rarity got up and started walking towards Twilight’s house. As she passed by the arts district, she saw couldn't help but notice her former crush Blueblood heading into the local ceramics studio. “Blueblood!” Rarity growled, hiding behind a nearby tree as if he could see her. Rarity then got an idea. She started sneaking over to the studio, making sure to stay as silent as possible. As another person opened the door, she quickly grabbed it so she wouldn’t sound the bell. Going into the studio, she grabbed a brush with red glaze on it and painted a red x on Blueblood’s white pants. “That is for him treating me so rudely, and pushing me into the mud at the Spring Fling” She thought to herself, before quickly replacing the brush and snucking out of the studio. Giggling to herself, Rarity started heading down a side street that allowed her to get to Twilight’s house faster. At the other end of the street she saw Dean Cadence leaving Twilight's house, and start walking towards her “I better get out of the way. I don’t want her to run into me.” Rarity stepped to the other side of the sidewalk, but lost her balance as a car drove by, almost hitting her. As Rarity tried to regain her balance, she accidentally fell into the gutter, her face now covered in mud. “What the?!” Cadence shrieked, taking a couple steps back; away from Rarity. Rarity quickly got onto the sidewalk, before noticing Cadence staring at her. Realizing that Cadence could her with the mud on her face, Rarity quickly hid behind a bush nearby bush; praying that Cadence wouldn’t question it. “Rarity?” Cadence tried to look behind the bush, only to hear Rarity move away from her.. “Are you okay?” “Of course, darling. Why wouldn’t I be” Rarity giggled, trying to remain hidden. “It looked like you took a pretty nasty fall. I want to make sure you weren’t injured.” Cadence explained, holding her hand out for Rarity to take. “Alright, no I’m not. Somehow I turned invisible…” Rarity admitted, stepping out from behind the bush. “How did you become invisible?” Cadance asked, attempting to look Rarity up and down. “Wait...are you not wearing any clothes?” “No, I’m not.” Rarity sighed, thankful that Cadence couldn’t see the blush forming on her face. “I didn’t want everyone thinking that a ghost is haunting Canterlot, or something silly like that.” Rarity explained, started wiping the mud off Rarity’s face. “As hilarious at that sounds, especially imagining Twilight, Sunset, some of the Crystal Prep students trying to find the “ghost”, that does make since. Do you know how to become visible again?” Cadence asked as Rarity held onto her arm. “So you know where I am since you wiped the mud off me. Speaking of witch, thank you for that. I had planned to talk to Twilight, and see if she could help. She must have something that could reverse it.” Cadence couldn’t help but let out a little sigh. “She wasn’t planning on telling you guys, but she isn’t home tonight. Supposedly Sunset Shimmer had dragged her camping with her.” “Twilight...camping? Oh I’d pay to see that.” Rarity giggled, “Since she isn’t here, why don’t you stay at my place? Who knows what your sister would do, and I want to make sure you stay safe tonight.” Cadence explained, taking what she had hoped to be Rarity’s arm. “Nonsense. I will be perfectly fine on my own, but thank you for your offer. I just couldn’t…” “Please Rarity. You are the element of generosity, if I’m remembering correctly. So if you don’t do this for you, do this for me? I won’t be able to get a good night sleep if I’m worried about you.” Cadence explained, grabbing her purse that had set on the floor. “I haven’t known you for very long, but you’re still considered a friend to me. Please Rarity?” Rarity thought about the offer for a couple seconds before sighing.“Very well. I one night wouldn’t hurt anything. Thank you very much.” “Thank you. Come on now it’s getting late.” Cadence smiled, before leading Rarity towards her house. Later that night, Cadence opened the bathroom door and hung up some clean towels. “You can take a showers in here, if you like. You still have a little mud on you.” Cadence offered, as Rarity looked around the bathroom. “What a quaint little bathroom you have. Very charming.” Rarity smiled, before catching a glimpse of herself in the mirror. “Yuck, I thought I had cleaned all of the mud on me. At least Applejack isn’t here. I’ll take that shower now, if you don’t mind.” Cadence shook her head, and left the bathroom, closing the door behind her. After turning on the shower to let the water start warming up, Rarity carefully got inside and instantly started to relax, thanks to the warm water running over her muscles. Looking at the variety of bottles that Cadence kept along the bathtub, Rarity found some lavender body wash and cherry blossom shampoo and conditioner. Rarity grabbed the bottles, and a washcloth that Cadence laid out for her, and began to wash herself. A couple minutes later, after she was was satisfied, Rarity stepped out and quickly dried herself off. Opening the door, she saw Cadence down the hall. “How was your shower?” “Lovely.” Cadence pulled out a blanket from the hall closet, before looking back to Rarity “Are you hungry?” “I’m alright for now. I think I just need some sleep. It’s been a rather dreadful day, and I’m exhausted.” Nodding her head in understanding, Cadence waved Rarity into a bedroom and laid the blanket across the bed. “You can use my spare bed. I put some sheets and blanket on it already, so it’s all ready for you if you want to lay down” Cadence explained, instinctively wiping out some of the wrinkles. “Thank you once again for your hospitality.” Rarity attempted to muffle another yawn, before sitting down on the edge of the bed. “Go night Rarity” “Good night Cadence.” Cadence left, shutting the door behind her, while Rarity laid down, admiring the warm soft blanket. “Tomorrow is going to be a long day.” Rarity mumbled, as she drifted off to sleep.
