Being Rude To A Nice Friend
Rarity was working to fill out orders for Carousal boutique. She wiped sweat off her brow as she worked hard completing dresses for her customers that have ordered them. She couldent wait to take a break as she was beat from all the orders and constant directions. She worked furiously hoping to satisfy all the ponies that wanted these orders. If one pony didn't like its order Rarity would be sad but then would be more determined.
As she worked she saw Twilight heading forwards Carousal Boutique. She became excited as she is finally seeing her friend after a tough day. Twilight walked up to Rarities door and entered. Rarity greeted Twilight.
"Hi Twilight! Hope your day is going well. Do you want some tea?" Rarity asked walking to her.
"Sure." Twilight said. Rarity opened her arms to hug Twilight but Twilight shoved past Rarity rejecting her hug. Rarity became confused. Why didn't Twilight want to hug her? Twilight always hugged her friends. Rarity was confused at this action and a little bit hurt that Twilight would do that. It was very rude. She also wondered why Twilight didn't answer to her question about Twilights day. She hoped Twilight was alright.
Rarity thought about what happened as she went to make Twilight tea. Twilight never said please so it felt rude. She wondered if she should say something but decided against it as Twilight might be in a bad mood. Rarity gave Twilight her tea. Twilight stayed quiet avoiding saying thanks and Rarity felt hurt by this.
Rarity frowed as Twilight drank her tea not even making eye contact at Rarity. Rarity just sat down as Twilight gulped it forgetting any manners that she had. Twilight finished it shoved the teacup with her magic to Rarity. Rarity was thrown off at this but took the tea cup with her magic and washed it. Rarity really wanted to say something to Twilight as she felt sour over it.
"Buy this book for me I need it." Twilight said handing her info. Rarity was starting to get upset at Twilight. How dare she order her around and refuse to say thanks when she gives her something. Rarity opened her mouth to say something but closed it and took a few deep breaths to calm herself down. As she walked to the library she felt angry and upset. Maybe she should start refusing and demand Twilight to apologize and say thank you but that might get Twilight angry.
She got to the bookstore and bought the book for her. Rarity huffed as she got the book paid for and then walked back to her place. She wanted Twilight to pay her back but Twilight might refuse if she asked her. She felt like Twilight was taking advantage of her generosity but she shrugged willing to do it for her friend anyway. When she got back she gave Twilight a book knowing Twilight wasn't going to say thanks. Twilight put the book in her bag.
Rarity sat down in the living room and Twilight soon joined her. While they were sitting there Twilight looked through a couple of books that she had and Rarity thought about how rude Twilight was being. Twilight seemed like she didn't even want to talk to Raroty. Rarity wanted to have a conversation with Twilight but didn't dare say anything knowing it would cause Twilight to get angry.
Rarity became angry again. Twilight had no right to treat her like that. Rarity hated that she was letting Twilight get away with it so she thought about bringing it up and demand an apology. She could either bring it up nicely or bring it up angrily which is how she felt. Twilight was smiling as she read her book and Rarity fumed. Rarity had enough.
"Twilight where the hell is my thank you? You ordered me to get tea and ordered me to get a book for you. You also shoved past me when I went to give you a hug! What the hell?" Rarity ranted. Twiligt looked up at her annoyed.
"So what?" Twilight said. Rarity gasped.
"Twilight I demand a thank you for the book I got you and an apology for shoving past me for my attempted hug." Rarity said. Twilight ignored her. Rarity had enough.
"TWILIGHT!" Rarity yelled. Twilight looked at her in anger.
"The fuck do you want?!" Twilight asked angrily.
"I want an apology for shoving past my hug and a thanks for the book! I also want to know why your acting like this," Rarity said.
"Why the should I say thank you? So you buy stuff for me big deal!" Twilight ranted.
"Yeah I bought you a book with my money!! WHERES MY THANK YOU!?" Rarity yelled. Twilight winced.
"Up your ass." Twilight responded rudely. Rarity got tears in her eyes and ran up to her room. Twilight stood up as she was surprised that Rarity would act like that.
"RARITY!?" Twilight yelled in surprise. When Rarity was gone from the room Twilight realized how much of a bitch she was being to her friend. She felt horrible how she acted. As she sat down time passed as she thought over what she did.
She kept replaying the events over in her head. She did deserve all the stuff she got as she was the princess and expected the most out of everything. But then she thought about what Rarit had to deal with today. Rarity had loads of orders to do while Twilight simply let people check out books.
Twilight kept thinking over how she acted to Rarity. She thought about how she brushed Rarity off when Raroty went to give her a hug when she entered Rarities boutique, how she never said thanks for the tea, how she demanded that Rarit get her a book and how when Raroty asked for an apology Twilight told her to go shove it. She started to understand how she acted.
"I was kind of rude to her." Twilight said softly. She thought over what she did and she got tears in her eyes as realization hit her.
"I'm a jerk." Twilight cried. Twilight looked around the room as she couldent see Rarity. She wanted to go and apologize. She decided it was to early and Rarity needed time to cool off. Twilight wondered if she should wait there or leave and come back. She didn't want to seem rude leaving but also didn't want to seem rude sitting there.
She sighed in frustration. Soon time passed and Rarity came back. Twilight got up and walked out as fast as she could. Soon she got home and waited for Rarity to calm down. She hoped Rarity wasn't to upset. Twilight waited her patience growing thin. She hoped Rarity would accept her apology. She waited as she read a book and made herself something to eat.
After that she read a book and then drank some tea to calm herself down. As she was more calmed down Twilight continued to wait. Time passed and Twilight wondered what Rarity was doing. She hoped her apology wouldent be rejected. Soon she got ready for bed and then went to sleep.
The next day she got up and had breakfast thinking about Rarity. She was extremely nervous. She decided to rush breakfast and scramble to Rarities. As she got there she knocked on Rarities door and Rariy answered.
"Yes Twilight?" Rarity asked.
"Can I please come in I need to say something." Twilight said anxiously. Raroty nodded and let Twilight come in.
"What is it that you need Twilight?" Rarity asked softly.
"I came here...to say sorry for being such a bitch to you yesterday. You treated me with kindness and patience and I acted rude to you while you were doing that I'm sorry for shoving past you when you wanted to give me a hug and I'm sorry for not saying thank you for the book after I demanded you get it without saying please. I'm sorry for shrugging off the favor you did for me and I'm sorry for telling you up your ass when you asked where your thank you was. I'm sorry Rarity! I hope you can forgive me." Twilight said looking down expecting to get yelled at. Rarity went up to her and hugged her.
"Your forgiven." Rarity said. Twilight sobbed as Rarity kissed her cheek.
"I want to say thank you for the book and the tea." Twilight said redeeming herself. Rarity smiled as she was proud of Twilight for fixing her mistake.
"Your welcome Twilight." Rarity said. After that day Twilight learned to always say please when asking for something and to say thank you after Somepony gives her something and to never reject a hug in rudeness. Twilight would never do that stuff again and felt better after fixing her mistakes. Rarity and Twilight made up for the day and Twilight and Rarity hugged eachother as a make up hug for the one Twilight rejected. Twilight asked nicely for tea and asked nicely for a boo which Raroty gave her both of those things with out sourness and Twilight said thank you for the tea and the book and Rarity said your welcome for both as she was proud that Twilight apologized and fixed her mistakes.
They enjoyed the rest of the day cuddling and Twilight helping Rarity with dresses cheerinshing their friendship.
