Pony in my pocketby XenayChaptersChapter 1Chapter 2Chapter 3Chapter 4Chapter 5Chapter 6Chapter 7Chapter 8Chapter 10Chapter 9Chapter 1Author's Note I probably mixed up some events in the movie, but this is an Alternate Universe, so please don't hate me Warning: this story has a lot of facepalms Do not read if easily triggered Chapter 1 Chapter one The earth shook as this huge purple flash appeared in the woods. The students were shocked. Most of them thought it was Gaya Everfree. Twilight thought it was her fault. Sunset didn't think it was either. She got curious and went to check. There was something off about this whole thing. First her friends got new magic, then this weird stuff happens everywhere, and now this magical explosion. There had to be something. While the others were busy discussing what happened, Sunset Shimmer snuck off into the woods. It was hard to remember where it happened. Every tree seemed like the next one. As she went further, she heard something rustle in a bush. Curiosity got the best of her and she went closer. The bush rustled again. Sunset knew it was not a wild animal. She wasn't afraid in the slightest. "Come out, I won't hurt you." Sunset said quietly. The bush rustled again and this time a head stuck out. A little cyan head with rainbow colored hair and magenta eyes stared into her face. Sunset gasped. "Wait. You.. this can't be.." Sunset kneeled before it. The little creature came out completely. It was a cyan Pegasus with rainbow mane and tail and a cutie mark that Sunset was more than familiar with. "How can this be? The mirror should have transformed you... and how did you even get here?" "I don't know. Well, not really. And with this science-egghead stuff you should ask Twi." The little pony shook herself to get rid of leaves that stuck to her fur, feathers and hair. "What are we gonna do? The mirror is at the school. That's too far away to explain the way to you. And I don't even know the way anyways.." Sunset said, more to herself. The pony sat down, checking her wings. "Well, I don't know." Sunset groaned. "Do you know anything?" The Pegasus glared at Sunset. "Okey sorry. But what am I supposed to do with you? I can't just go around with you. You can't be seen..." Sunset thought for a moment. "I got it! Wait here.. no wait, follow me to the camp and wait there." Dash gave her a questioning look but took to the air and followed Sunset. When they reached the end of the forest Dash landed on one of the branches of a tree while Sunset went towards her and Twilights tent. She grabbed her bag and went back outside. Sunset was lost again when she reached the trees. "Dash, where are you?" Sunset whispered. The Pegasus flew down in front of her. "Get in my bag, I'm gonna bring you to our tent." Sunset explained and opened her bag. Dash gave her an unamused glance but climbed in. "Yuck this stinks!" "Sorry, it's an old bag. I just grabbed the nearest one without thinking.. Don't worry, you'll be out in a sec." Sunset went off to her tent. She only then noticed that some students were still panicked, while her friends played with their new magic. Wasting no time Sunset went into the tent and opened the bag on the floor. Dash shot out, gasping for air. "Oh come on, it's not so bad!" Sunset exclaimed. "Easy for you to say!" Dash argued and climbed out. "So, I'm gonna stay here until you get back to school?" "Guess so." "And how long is that gonna be?" "Until next week." Dash groaned and flopped on the ground. "Come on, it's gonna be fun. We got some strange new magic here anyways. So, since when are you here anyways?" Dash lifted her head from the ground. "After this explosion. Twi kinda broke the mirror." Sunset blinked. "She what?" "Well we had a bit of an argument... by the way, don't make her mad or she's gonna blow magic on you. Hit me, threw me to the mirror and in that moment she must've casted another spell, that broke the mirror." Sunset was speechless. "Dash, do you know what this means?" Dash got up from the ground. "That Twi is gonna have bad luck for the next seven years?" "No. That you can't go home when the mirror is broken!" Her wings spread open. "Wait what?!" "What did you even do to make Twilight so angry?" "I dropped a book." Sunset's eye twitched. "What? It was an accident! I swear!" Sunset's hand slapped in her face. Chapter 2Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter.Chapter 3Chapter three Dash, being bored all the time, got on the nerves of poor little Spike. He soon enough got sick of her trying to get his attention and making fun of him. He left the tent to catch some squirrels to lighten up his mood, leaving the bored Pegasus once again to herself. "Uuurrrggghhhh... Sunset where are you..." She groaned in the pillow, her stomach growling once again. "I'm here, I'm here. Geez what's the hurry?" Sunset said as she came in. Dash sat up with her forelegs crossed over her chest. "Oh nothing. Just some Pegasus in a weird world, starving to death because she can't go home?" Sunset rolled her eyes. "Okey, now you're over reacting. Anyways, I got you some vegetables." She put down a basket with apples, bananas and carrots on the bed before the Pegasus. She could have sworn the ponies' eyes were sparkling before she started eating half of the basket. Sunset couldn't help but giggle at the sight of this cute little pony eating such big things. "Hey Sunset? Have you seen the vegeta-" "A-Applejack!" Sunset yelped. "Sunset.. what is.. that?" "What is 'what', Applejack darling?" Rarity joined in. "Rarity?!" "Rainbow!" The pony on the bed cheered. When nobody cheered with her, she got peeved. "What?" "T-Talking.. Pony?" Applejack finally said. "Oooooh it's simply adorable!!" Rarity squealed and went over to the Pegasus and grabbed her in a tight hug. "Hey! Ever heard of privacy?!" The pony struggled to get free. "This isn't the worst yet. You haven't met Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie." Sunset stated. "Aaaaaaawwww Sunset where did you find her? Oh I have to make you some dresses!!!" Rarity finally let go of Dash and ran out. "Nooooooooo!!!!!!" The pony on the bed exclaimed. "Rarity wait!" Sunset tried to stop her but Rarity was already gone. "T-Talking.. P-Pony.. With w-wings.." Applejack mumbled before she passed out. Sunset gave Applejack an 'are you serious'-look and her hand met her own face again. She went over to her fallen friend and pulled her on Twilights bed. "So much for keeping you a secret, huh Dash?" Sunset said as she turned to the pony, who could only shrug in response. What a craaaazy day, Twilight thought to herself. I can't believe it. Everyone is getting new magical abilities. Midnight Sparkle could be the source! What am I gonna do?! Twilight entered the tent and sighed. "Rough day?" Twilight jumped for a second, then saw Sunset sitting on her bed. "Yeah, something like that, I guess." A third voice joined in. "Nothing compared to my day! I mean- oh..uh.. hello!" All eyes flew on the pony on Sunset's bed. "Whaaaaaaaat?!" Twilight shrieked and backed up. "Hey, I'm not gonna hurt you! I take it, you are this worlds Twilight?" Dash said as she came towards the freaked out girl. "S-Stay away! And h-how do you know my name?!" "Twilight, relax. Remember that you have another self that is a pony princess?" Twilight nodded. "This is her worlds Rainbow Dash." Sunset explained. Twilight somewhat relaxed a bit. "So.. how come she's still a pony?" "Twi kinda broke the mirror with a spell. Now I'm stuck here." Dash explained, annoyed. "This is so unfair! I was in the middle of the new Daring Do book!" She exclaimed with her hooves in the air. "So.. she's stuck here until the other Twilight gets the mirror fixed.." Sunset added. "Well.. Spike always wanted a play mate." Twilight winked. Dash's eyes shrunk. "No way! I'm not a pet!" She flared her wings, ready to take off if needed. Twilight and Sunset only laughed. "We better get ready for bed. It's getting pretty late." Twilight said. "I don't know what you're talking about. I'm not *yawn* tired at all." The Pegasus replied while stretching herself and curling up on the bed. Sunset and Twilight shared amused glances and got ready for bed. Chapter 4Chapter four -Twilights Castle- Spike was dusting the books all day. Though the constant pacing of Twilight was getting on his nerves. He tried to keep focusing on cleaning the library, until the alicorn was suddenly behind him. "Spike! I think I totally messed up!" She said, anxious. Spike gave her an unamused glare. "Oh really." He stated flatly. "Yes!!! Oh my gosh if Princess Celestia finds out...... " Spike raised an eyebrow. "So. What exactly did you mess up this time?" "I shot Rainbow Dash through the mirror with a spell and broke the mirror." Spikes left eye twitched. "You what!?" Twilight only grinned sheepishly. Spike's hand hit his face. "Why would you do that?! Are you out of your mind again?!" "It wasn't on purpose! She deserved it!" "Since when do friends deserve to be shot through a magical mirror?!" "IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!!!! I stayed up all night reading the book so Dash didn't have to wait longer. You know I can't think straight when I don't sleep!" Spikes eye twitched and his hand met his face again. "Spike! We don't have time for that! I gotta find a way to repair it before the princess finds out!" Spike only glared annoyed at the alicorn, but followed anyways. Sunset woke up in the middle of the night by a shivering that came from next to her. Her eyes adjusted to the darkness and she sat up, rubbing her eyes. She soon found the source of what had woken her up. "Rainbow Dash? Are you awake?" "Yeah.." The pony replied in a rather scratchy voice. More than usual. "Are you feeling okey?" Sunset asked concerned and felt the pegasus' forehead. "You have a fever, you're burning up!" Sunset stated. "You stay here, I'm gonna get you some wet towels." Sunset said, jumping up from her bed and grabbing a towel she had brought with her. She got dressed and went outside to the river. She dug the towel into the cold water. Then she ran back to her tent before anyone saw her. Back inside, Sunset was relived to find Twilight and Spike still asleep. She went over to her bed where the pony laid on its side, barely moving. Sunset placed the towel on the pony's head and carefully opened the wings. She was like Twilight when she was still a pony. She had studied enough books to know that Pegasi control their body temperature through their wings. Sunset couldn't help but smile when the Pegasus looked quite a bit better, assuming the fever finally went down. She was glad about it, but still. What had caused it? The answer would have to wait until tomorrow. A good nights rest would help, both of them. -Twilights Castle- Sadly, sleep was something that Spike was not going to get. Twilight was running around, flipping through books and kept on talking the whole time. As much as he hated it when she did that, he couldn't really blame her. She must be feeling really guilty after what happened. It was her fault. And now the Princess Of Friendship had to find a way to bring back a friend, that she threw through a magical portal to another dimension and broke said portal. "The book! Of course! Why didn't I think of that?!" Twilight exclaimed and ran to the mirror that had the book on top of it. Spikes hand found a new home on his face. Twilight grabbed the book with her magic. Once it was on the table she grabbed a quill with her magic and flipped through the pages of the book until she found an empty page and started writing. "Dear Sunset Shimmer, I have terrible news. One of my friends, Rainbow Dash, got through the mirror-portal and now it's broken. She has to be somewhere in your world. I'm trying to find a way to fix this. Your friend Twilight Sparkle" Once she was done writing, she face-planted on the table and groaned. "I'm the worst friend ever..." She felt a hand on her shoulder. Looking up she saw Spike with a sympathetic look. She sighed. Chapter 5Chapter five The next morning, Sunset woke up to a weird coughing sound. She rubbed her eyes. When she opened them, she noticed that the sun was already up. She sat up on the bed and noticed that she was not alone in her bed. Only when she saw the cyan pegasus laying curled up next to her, she remembered that she had a problem to solve. "Hatchoo!!" Maybe even more than one. "Are you okey?" Sunset asked. Dash’s head slowly rose. "I dunno. Maybe?" She answered in a hoarse voice before she was interrupted by a new coughing fit. Sunset grew concerned and placed a hand on top of the pegasus‘ head. "Dash, I think you’re getting sick. No, actually, I know so." A yawn from the other side of the tent got their attention. "What’s going on?" Twilight asked in a tired voice. „Dash is sick.“ Sunset answered. „I’m not sick..“ Dash argued. „Yes you are. I’m worried. What if this has to do with her being in a new world with her normal body?“ Sunset explained, getting anxious. That got Twilight’s attention. She didn’t know much about this whole thing, especially not about pony anatomy. Well, other-world-pony-anatomy. „I hope it’s nothing serious.“ Twilight joined Sunset with being worried. Dash groaned. „Fort the last time. I’m not-“, she was interrupted by a sneeze attack. Oh the irony. Sunset leaned over and grabbed a tissue, then gave it to the pegasus. „Is everything alright? I heard sneezing. Are you sick?“ Fluttershy surprised the two humans. Before anyone could answer, Dash once again sneezed. But the worst part was that she lost two feathers from her wings because of it. „Oh dear! Oh where did you come from?“ Fluttershy said and went over to the pegasus on the bed. Twilight was a bit surprised at how Fluttershy wasn’t surprised at all, it seemed. But her friends knew more about this kinda thing and were porbably used to strange things from Equestria. „You have a fever. Oh you poor little thing. I hope I have something to help you.“ Fluttershy said after checking on the sick pony. Dash only glared annoyed at the opposite wall oft the tent. „I’ll be right back.“ Fluttershy said and left the tent in a hurry. Dash buried her face in her hooves and groaned again. „Don’t worry. Fluttershy is great with animals. You’ll feel better in no time.“ Sunset tried to cheer her up. Dash only glared at the remark. „Yeah. She’s great with animals. But I’m not an animal.“ Dash argued. „Well actually, you are. Technically.“ Twilight added. Dash shot daggers at her. The two humans sighed. At last, Spike woke up in his doggy basket. He yawned and stretched himself, then scratched behind his ear and shook himself. The same routine like every day. „Good morning, Spike. Sleep well?“ Twilight asked. „Like a puppy.“ He said and jumped on Twilight’s bed and cuddled up to his owner. Twilight chuckled at the remark. Fluttershy came back as soon as she could. She had a little bottle and a spoon with her. Kneeling in front of the bed, she opened the bottle and filled the spoon with its liquid, then stuck the spoon into the pony's mouth. Dash's eyes widened and she tried to spit it out. It tasted awful! But Fluttershy wasn't going to let her. She only took it out again after Dash swallowed it. The pony's tongue stuck out in disgust and she got another coughing fit. "Poor thing.." Fluttershy commented. "Attention everyone! We are going to start our next event! Please meet at the lake in five minutes!" "We better get going." Twilight said. She and Fluttershy went ahead. Sunset stayed with Dash for a bit. "Sunset?" "Yes?" "Before you go.. I.. uh.. I kinda.." "Just spit it out." "I... Gotta pee." She whispered, avoiding Sunsets gaze. "Oh, alright." Sunset grabbed her bag (Not the old one) and zipped it open. "Jump in, we are in the woods anyways. Would be tricky once we get back though." Dash jumped in and Sunset closed it a bit before carrying it out of the tent. She was careful not to be seen. A bit into the forest she let the pony out of her bag. "You'll have to go back on your own or I'm gonna be late." Sunset whispered to Dash. When the pony nodded, she turned to leave. "Sunset! Where were you? We are waiting for you." Flash Sentry called while running to her. "I uh.. I lost my bag." She made up and motioned to the bag in her hands. "Found it." She faked a smile and laugh. "Um.. Alright then. Come on, the others are waiting." He turned and went ahead. Sunset let out a silent sigh of relief. Chapter 6Chapter six Rainbow Dash made her way back to the tent. She had to be careful. The students were all gathered away from the tents, but she still didn't trust the silence. And after the Wonderbolts, she knew to check both ways before crossing anything. She was sneaking as quietly as she could. Then she heard someone inhale deeply. "Ooooooh my goooooosh!!!! Dashiiiieee you are sooo adooooraaablleeee!!!!!!!" Dash was picked up and hugged so tightly she couldn't breathe. She knew who it was. And that was not because of her voice. Or her actions. She knew it was Pinkie Pie just because she is so random all the time. "Okey, this-worlds-Pinkie.. Please let me go..?" "OOOOH YOU CAN TAAALK!!!!!" Great.. "Pinkie Pie. Let me go." Dash said flatly. "Oki-Doki-Loki" Pinkie said and let go of the pony, who fell down on the ground. "Urgh..." Pinkie just hopped away to the other students. Dash sat up, rubbing her head as she watched the random girl leave. "Well. That went well.. I guess?" She said to herself as she made her way back to the tent. Jumping on the bed she curled up under the blanket and went to sleep... Rainbow Dash had been feeling pretty low lately. She felt tired all the time and got dizzy easily. That didn't stop her from going to Twilight. She would have been a fool not to! The new Daring Do book finally arrived. The flight from her house to the castle in this cold air got her shivering. Once she landed, she coughed a bit. Still not realizing the signs, she just went in. "Hey Twi." She called and closed the big door behind her. Who greeted her though, was Spike. "Hi Dash! Twilight is cleaning up the library since this morning. She put the book on the couch table." "Oh, alright." She said simply and went to the precious book she was so tempted to read. Dash was reading, Twilight cleaning the library and Spike was cleaning the rest of the castle. It went like this for hours. Until all the dusting made Rainbow cough again. Then she was in for an Academy Record for the craziest sneeze. Her entire body jerked, causing the book to fall. It was at that exact moment that Twilight had come, probably finished with cleaning in the library. "Dash! That book is brand new!!!" The alicorn yelled. "It was an accide-" Dash tried to explain but was cut off when Twilight's horn shot a magical boost at her, sending her through the room and breaking the door to the lair. "Twilight! What the heck is wrong with you?!" Dash yelled angry at the alicorn as she got to her hooves. "With Me?! What is wrong with You?!" Twilight argued, her horn glowing. Dash feared for her life. Then the spell hit her, sending her through the mirror portal. "GAAAAAAAH!!!!" Dash shrieked as she woke with a start. Looking around, she noticed that she was in a messy tent with two girls and a dog. "Dash, you okey?" Sunset asked her, deeply concerned. Dash was going to answer but when she tried to say something she was met by a coughing fit. "Here." Sunset gave her a glass of water. The pony gladly accepted and drank half of it. "I think her fever is coming back.. We should get Fluttershy." Twilight said from the other side inside the tent. Sunset nodded. "You guys alright?! I heard screaming and-" Rainbow Dash said when she came running to her friends' tent. Then she remembered her pony self. The scream that had sounded a lot like her voice. "Mini me..? What's wrong?" " 'Mini me'.. really?" The pony stated. "Rainbow Dash, can you get Fluttershy? Pony Dash is sick." Sunset asked. "Of course! Be right back!" Rainbow said and went to get Fluttershy. The girls in the tent turned to the pony. "What were you dreaming about? Must have been one hell of a nightmare." Sunset said. "How I got here.. Dang I've never seen Twi so mad.." The statement got Twilight to blush and look around. "Come to think, you still haven't told us what happened. Not exactly." Sunset said. "Well... I came to the castle for the new Daring Do book...." Chapter 7Chapter seven "...and then I was here." Dash finished her story. Twilight and Sunset shared a confused glance. "I'm gonna write her a note. I think something was going on." Sunset said and went over to one of her bags. Zipping it open she grabbed the big brown book. Sunset flipped through the pages and noticed a new entry. She stopped there and read it. "What is it, Sunset?" Twilight asked. "Princess Twilight already sent me a note. I better reply to her that I already found Dash." Sunset replied. She grabbed into the bag again and took out a pen. Dear Princess Twilight, I've already found Dash. She's save with me. But not for long. You have to find a way to fix the mirror and get her back. Your friend, Sunset Shimmer She snapped the book shut, causing the others to jump in surprise. "I'm here! I'm here!" Fluttershy said, out of breath after running to her friends' tent. Sunset held out a water bottle for Fluttershy. The girl accepted and drank from the cool water. "Thanks Sunset. Rainbow had me do some training... then she told me I was needed for her mini self." Fluttershy explained. Dash groaned at the name. Fluttershy gave her the medicine again. The Pegasus only gagged once. "Thanks a lot Fluttershy." Sunset said and smiled at her friend. Fluttershy left again, saying she had to help Pinkie Pie with something in the kitchen. Sunset saw how Twilight was fondling Spike. Her own hand copied her friends' movements. To her surprise, the Pegasus didn't resist. First her hand was on the ponys' head. Then it moved down her neck and between the wings. "Um.. What are you doing?" The Pegasus suddenly asked, visibly melting in Sunsets touch. "Sorry, do you want me to stop?" Sunset asked, worried of upsetting the pony. "No... Don't stop..." The Pegasus mumbled as she relaxed and laid down. Twilight chuckled at the sight while her hand was petting Spike's belly because Spike was on his back, his hind leg kicking every now and then. It was weird to the Pegasus, being touched like this. But it was also too nice to complain about it. To her, it could keep going like this for hours. Sadly her stomach would not let her. It gave an angry growl from itself, to which Dash groaned in annoyance while he girls laughed. "You haven't eaten yet, have you, Dash?" Sunset said. "I wasn't hungry.." "Dash it's the middle of the day." "It is?" Dash asked, taking a short glance to the light between the tent doors, that was coming from outside. "Oh.." "Well at least the medicine gets your appetite back." Sunset commented and grabbed the basked with vegetables. She had put it under the bed to hide it. The Pegasus went straight to eating. The princess of friendship was getting more and more anxious as she flipped through almost every single book she had. "Um, Twilight?" "Not now, Spike!" "But Twilight-!" "Spike! I said NOT NOW!" The dragon just placed the vibrating book on the stack of books. Soon the Alicorn grabbed it in her magic and flipped through it. Her blind search came to an abrupt stop when she read the note she had gotten from Sunset Shimmer. "Spike! I got a-" "-note from Sunset Shimmer. I know. That's what I've been trying to tell you the whole time!!" The dragon exclaimed, deeply annoyed. Twilight only chuckled sheepishly at him. "Well, at least we know she's save. But we have to find a way to get Dash back as soon as possible." "Tell me something I don't know." Twilight thought for a moment. "I think I know how to repair the mirror!" The alicorn cheered and ran off, leaving Spike dumbfounded in the dark. He was about to call something after her, but only sighed and started re-shelving the books. Author's Note Who else wants to cuddle a pony? Chapter 8Chapter eight Taking care of a Pegasus pony turned out to be quite the experience. Fluttershy's medicine had cured the pony really fast. Now it was difficult to keep her quiet and out of sight. Sunset Shimmer now had a full-time job. "Rainbow Dash, stop it! How many times do I have to tell you not to-!" She was interrupted when her friends came into the tent. "Phew it's just you guys.." "Sunset, what in the hay is goin on?" Applejack asked sternly. "Urgh.. Dash won't leave my bed the way it is." The girl answered angrily as she pointed to the pony on the bed, which had the blankets over the pillows. It reminded of a nest. "Hey! It's not my fault! You won't let me go outside and nap on a cloud!" The pony flew up and argued. "Because they could see you!" The two were now face to face as they bickered back and forth. "Really. They are used to you guys growing wings and moving things without touching them. I don't think they would be surprised anymore." Dash deadpanned. "And what if you drift away on it? You don't know this world. What if you get lost?" Dash grew silent. "She has a point, there." Twilight added. "Fine." Dash groaned and landed on the bed again. Sunset turned back to her friends. "So, what's up?" "We are going for a swim in the lake. You coming?" Pinkie asked. "I don't know.." Sunset shot Pony Dash a worried glance, then looked back at her friends. "What if she needs me? Or gets in trouble? I can't just leave her alone.." "Seriously? I can take care of myself just fine. Go with your friends, Sunset. I'll be fine." The Pegasus on the bed said. "Are you sure?" Sunset asked as they all turned to the pony, who nodded in response. "You promise to behave yourself?" Dash just rolled her eyes at that. "Yeah yeah, I'll be a good little pony. You worry too much." Her friends giggled at Sunset being overly protective. "Just making sure." Sunset said and grabbed her swimsuit before leaving with her friends. Dash stretched herself on the bed and curled up in her pillow and blanket nest. Closing her eyes, she finally found some peace and quiet. "Finally alone.." she mumbled. "Hi there." Spike said as he jumped on the bed. Dash opened one eye, shut it again and groaned in annoyance as response. Spike didn't seem to get the message. He climbed in the nest and cuddled up to the Pegasus. Dash just sighed and waited for slumber to take over. Dash awoke to a feeling she knew all too well. First she tried to ignore it, but it wouldn't go away. "Horse apples..." she mumbled in annoyance. "What's wrong?" She jumped for a second before remembering that Spike right was next to her. "What time is it?" "How should I know? I'm a dog." Looking around anxiously, Dash got up and jumped down from the bed. She carefully looked outside and lucky for her, the coast is clear. "Where are you going?" Spike asked from the bed. "Outside." "But Sunset said you have to stay here." "Spike, I'm a grown pony. I know what I can do and what not." Dash argued and went outside. "Hey! Wait for me!" Spike called after her and followed her outside. "Spike! Urgh! Go back inside." "Nope! Not without you!" Spike ran in front of her, stopping the pony. "I have to make sure that you're save." "Uh-huh. Did Twilight tell you that?" Dash looked unamused. "No, Sunset." "Fine. Whoever told you to watch me, you stay here and I'll be right back." The Pegasus said and passed the purple dog. "Dash, wait!" He ran after her again. "SPIKE LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" This time he stopped and did what he was told. He sadly went back to the tent. "Finally!" Dash sighed. She would rather be alone for what she was about to do. She sat down behind a bush and... "Gotcha!" ...got pulled up by some stranger. "Hey! Put me down!" "Cool!" A second voice said. "It's sooooo cuuuteee!" A third high voice squeaked. Dash only glared at the air. She had a really gross idea on how to get out of this one... Sunset and Twilight made their way back to their tent as Applebloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle came running towards them. They were screaming and each of them had wet clothes as if something had sprayed on them. "What happened to you?" "P-P-Pony!!!!" They stuttered out before running to their sisters. Sunset and Twilight exchanged a knowing and worried glance and ran to their tent. Author's Note I really have to watch the movie again. I'm not sure if the cmc were at the camp Oh whatever, Alternate Universe for the win Chapter 10Chapter ten Sunset came in a mad hurry back to the tent. She didn't pay any attention towards the pony or dog. She just went on grabbing her belongings and stuffed them in her bags. Dash watched curiously and confused as Sunset seemed to be moving at a speed that could beat hers. Twilight then came in with the basket filled with some vegetables for the pony. Dash wanted to ask what the big hurry was, but the very thought of this delicious food melted her brain. Her stomach ran the show now and her brain took a break, as she practically leaped into the basket. Twilight chuckled for a moment befor joining Sunset in the rush of packing her own things. Spike only stared at the girls and the pony, shrugged, and went back to sleeping in his basket. "Dash wake up! We have to go!" Sunset almost yelled at the Pegasus as she shook her awake. "Geez.. what's the hurry.." "Come on! We're leaving!" "Leaving..?" "We are going home!" "What time is it.." "Urgh. Come on." Sunset just picked Dash up from the bed and put the Pegasus inside her backpack. Sunset then hurried outside to meet up with the other students. "Alright. I hope you all had a lot of fun!" Gloriossa said. Then the first students got on the bus. It was still very early so most of the students, and a certain pony in Sunset's bag, were sleeping on their ride back home. "Okey, I think I know what to do." A purple alicorn said for what must have been the twelfth time. "How many more times are going to say that." Spike said. Twilight glared at him. "What?" "Oh nothing. Just some dragon trying to break my concentration. Again." Twilight said and her horn started glowing. She focused her magic on the mirror and, after a purple flash, the mirror looked brand new. As if nothing ever happened to it. "Wow! Hey, this time it actually worked!" Spike cheered. "Told ya it would work." Twilight smirked. "You told me that every time you found a spell or got an idea." Spike said flatly. "Well, his time I meant it." "Sure." "Well, I am going to get my friend back. You can stay here if you want." Spike didn't answer and just went upstairs. He was ready for a looong loooong loooooong nap. Twilight shrugged and went through the mirror. Sunset sat on the stairs in front of the school. She had the magical book in her hands, open at the last note she had sent to Twilight. "Still no answer.." She said worried. Dash sat next to her and put her head on Sunset's lap. "Don't worry, Dash. I know that if someone can get the portal to work again, it's definitely Twilight." Dash didn't answer and only sighed. Suddenly the mirror glowed and a Twilight without glasses stepped out of it. Sunset gasped. "Twilight! You did it!" Twilight made her first awkward steps before yelping as she fell on the ground. Sunset leaped up and helped her friend up. Dash flew over to the two girls. "Dash! You're alright!" Twilight smiled. Dash, however, didn't. In fact, she looked pretty mad. "Dash, what's the matter?" Sunset asked. "What's the matter? What's the matter?! She freaking blasted me through a magical portal and broke it!" Dash yelled. Twilights smile faded in no time and got replaced by fear and sadness. "I'm so sorry, Rainbow Dash. But please, come back with me." "At least these versions cared about me and cured me when I was sick instead of throwing me through things!" "Wait.. what do you mean 'when you were sick'?" Twilight asked, utterly confused. "Dash had a cold when she got here. What did you think made her drop the book? She had a terrible sneeze attack." Sunset explained. Twilight's eyes shrank to pins. "Oh my gosh.. Dash.. I... I..." Twilight sighed. "I think I'm really on edge after a night of nonstop reading.. I'm so sorry, Rainbow..." Sunset gave an expecting look at Dash. The Pegasus sighed. "Yeah yeah, apology accepted." Twilight got a huge smile and hugged Dash tightly. "Okey, okey!" Sunset couldn't help but smile at the sight. "You better get going before someone sees Dash." "You're right." Twilight released the Pegasus. She went over and hugged Sunset Shimmer. "Thank you so much for watching her." Sunset returned the hug. "You know that I would always help a friend." She winked. Twilight smiled. It was nice to see how a bitter girl can turn around, all thanks to the magic of friendship. Then she turned to the Pegasus. "Come on." She said and they went through the mirror after waving their goodbyes to Sunset. Fluttershy went up to Sunset. "You're going to miss her, huh?" "Yeah.." "Maybe you should come with me. There are a lot of animals that still need a home.." Sunset smiled. "You know what, Fluttershy? I'd like that. I really do." The shy girl returned the smile and they left to go to the pound. Princess Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash returned to the friendship castle through the mirror. "So.. how exactly did you fix the portal, anyways?" Dash asked. "Well.. It took me a while, but who would have guessed that the answer was just a simple levitation mixed with a fixation spell?" "Well.. At least that is over. And I'm guessing you've learned an important friendship lesson, Princess of friendship." "Yeah, I guess so." "Good. You go to writing, and I'm gonna finish that Daring Do book." Dash said and left the alicorn. Twilight grabbed a letter and a quill in her magic. Dear Princess Celestia, today I've learned that sometimes the most difficult things can easily be fixed with the simplest spells. Your faithful student, Twilight Sparkle "Hmm... was there anything else..?" She thought for a moment. Then Dash sneezed. "Naaah, probably not. I'll let Spike send the letter in the morning." Twilight went to join Dash. "So.. what have you been doing over there?" Dash blushed at the memories. "Weeeell...." After Rainbow Dash had told her, Twilight used a mind-erasing spell on herself. Reading over her letter to Celestia again, she said "Yeah, exactly." Chapter 9Chapter nine Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle hurried into their tent. "Rainbow Dash! What did you do to Applebloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle?!" Sunset yelled in a very angry tone. The pony in question laying in her nest, pretending to sleep, looked up. "It was an accident! Literally.." Spike was curled up in his doggy basket. He was sleeping soundly and didn't even wake up when Sunset yelled. Spike had always been a heavy sleeper. "An accident.. wait, you mean.. You didn't!" Twilight puzzled the pieces together. "It wasn't my fault! I went into the forest for that and then they just grabbed me!" The Pegasus explained. Sunset's hand met her face again. "Well.. What's done is done and can't be changed. At least now the girls learned not to grab creatures they don't know much about." Twilight lectured. "Just.. don't go outside alone anymore, okey? I knew it was a bad idea to leave her alone.." "Hey, it wasn't your fault." Twilight said to Sunset, then turned to Dash. "And neither was it yours. Like you said, it was just an accident." "Whatever. Let's just get some food and then go to sleep." Sunset said, not wanting to have this conversation any longer. "Great idea! I'm all out of apples and carrots!" Dash said. "Yeah, sure, we wi- wait What?! How much can one little pony eat?!" Sunset exclaimed. Dash only shrugged while Twilight got the basket from under the bed. "We'll be right back, Dash." Sunset said and went over to wake up Spike. "Wake up Spike, you have to keep an eye on Dash." She whispered as she shook him. "Hey, I can take care of myself for a few minutes!" Dash argued. "Yeah. And we know how well that turned out last time." Sunset glared at the Pegasus and went after Twilight to the cafeteria. Dash rolled her eyes and curled up in her nest again. Inside the cafeteria were already all the students. Looking around, they saw their friends sitting on a large table. Sunset and Twilight each grabbed a tablet, got some soup and bread on them and went to their friends. "I just can't believe it! We leave tomorrow and just now she has to soil her clothes!" Rarity said. "Oh quit yer bellyaching, Rarity. Ah'm sure that Sweetie Belle got more set of clothes with 'er." "Oh! Well I never! These clothes are extremely hard to get clean! And the smell! Irks!" "What are you guys talking about?" Sunset asked as her and Twilight took place at their friends' table. "Ah, jes Rarity freaking out 'bout some clothing. The usual." Applejack answered. Rarity shot her a death glare. "For the last time, Applejack! They were not just 'some clothes', they were expensive and are hard to get clean! At least we get home tomorrow so that I can get them cleaned as fast as possible, before the smell becomes permanent!" Rarity argued. Sunset spat out the soup that she just took into her mouth with the spoon. "We go home tomorrow?!" "Why yes, of course, darling." "But we are here for a week!" "And we got here six days ago." "Yeah. Even the greatest parties have to come to an end.." Rarities eyes widened. "Haven't you packed?" She asked. "No! But that isn't the main problem! How am I gonna get Dash with us without her being seen?!" Sunset tried in vain not to panic. "I haven't packed yet either. I thought we were here for another day, like Sunset. Time sure flies by fast when you're having fun.." Twilight said. "Come on! We have to pack!" Sunset said and got up, leaving her tray on the table. "Sunset, wait!" Twilight tried to stop her. She grabbed the basket and went to get some vegetables. The group only stared at the scene. That is, until Pinkie Pie went over to where Sunset sat. "You guys think she's still gonna eat this?" She grinned with the spoon in her hand. The sound of four hands snapping onto faces echoed through the dining hall.
Chapter 1Author's Note I probably mixed up some events in the movie, but this is an Alternate Universe, so please don't hate me Warning: this story has a lot of facepalms Do not read if easily triggered Chapter 1 Chapter one The earth shook as this huge purple flash appeared in the woods.
Chapter 3Chapter three Dash, being bored all the time, got on the nerves of poor little Spike.
"Well... I came to the castle for the new Daring Do book...."
Chapter 7Chapter seven "...and then I was here." Dash finished her story.
I'm not sure if the cmc were at the camp Oh whatever, Alternate Universe for the win
Chapter 10Chapter ten Sunset came in a mad hurry back to the tent. Reading over her letter to Celestia again, she said "Yeah, exactly."
Chapter 9Chapter nine Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle hurried into their tent.
