Bend For Everfree

Sunset and Twilight sat at the bar counter in the local bar, looking to unwind after a hard day of studying in the CHS.

"Drinks on me. Two beers please." Sunset said to the bartender and pulled a wallet from pocket. She couldn't help but notice that the barkeep looked quite familiar. Twilight had also noticed the similarities between her and a girl from Camp Everfree named:

"Gloriosa!?" The girls said in unison. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm working here, can't you see?" Gloriosa let out a deep sigh and continued. "Well, kind of. You see, I owe money to Filthy Rich, and working here to pay it off. Running the camp is not cheap you know. I even had to sell my house and now I'm living in the backroom."

Sunset and Twilight exchanged gazes.

"Hmm." Sunset pondered for a moment what to say. "Would you like to live at our place for a while?"

Gloriosa looked like someone had slapped her in the face.

"Live with... you? But how could I..."

"I insist. I feel like we owe you for the time we spent at the camp. Besides you can help us study those magic stones you found at the cave. Right, Twilight?"

Twilight poured the last of the beer down her throat. "Sure! Then we can have pillow fights as Midnight Sparkle and Gaia Everfree!"

"Aren't you the tipsy one?" Sunset chuckled as Twilight tried to get the last drops from the bottom of the pint with her tongue. "So anyway. What do you say?"

Gloriosa stared at the girls before bursting into tears.

"Of course! I-I don't know what to say. I..."

"You don't have to say anything. Now let's dry down those tears shall we?" Sunset said and gave Gloriosa a hug of her lifetime.
