A Creature Attacks

One day Twilight and her friends were relaxing when ponies began to evacuate Equestria, as they evacuated Twilight and her friends noticed them all evacuating, they wondered what was up and then that was when they saw a monster attacking them. Twilight and her friends knew what they had to do as they went to the monster and began to fight it.

Twilight and her friends were continued to try and save Equestria from the monster. It was large and it was attacking their homeland. It was the biggest creature they had ever seen. The princesses and all of the citizens have been evacuated from the areas it was attacking and they were hiding in a bunker. The mane six have been fighting it since the morning of that day.

Their was no explanation of where it came from it just appeared that day out of the blue and Equestria was thrown into a panic as travel was cancelled and leaving homes was discouraged. Twilight and her friends were given the task to destroy it by Celestia as she couldent send guards to deal with it but had to send the mane six as it was the only option viable as they have taken down threats before.

They were all tired from fighting it as Rainbow Dash couldent use her sonic rainboom against it anymore and was beat. Twilight was so tired that her vision was getting sleepy. Her wings ached from flying all day. Fluttershy was cowering in a ditch and Rarity was fighting the monster with defensive spells.

None of them knew that they would be doing this today. They were all meeting until Celestia was ushering a call out to Equestria to evacuate and them to defeat whatever was attacking their precious home. The citizens and Celestia knew only little of the monster. They knew that a few hours ago an a storm rocked places of Equestria and seconds later this big monster showed up. They were sure the storm and the monster were connected since the monster came from a body of water right after the storm cleared.

It was the biggest monster Equestria has ever seen. The newspapers were sure to have one hell of a story after this was over. The mane six tried to lure it into a deadly trap but that didn't work. Rainbow Dash tried to use her sonic rainboom on it but it was to tough that Rainbow Dash just slammed into it and Twilight was getting desperate as she tried to use all of her atttack spells to try and kill it.

The battle kept going on as Twilight did all her might to try and kill the monster. Nothing was working. Twilight was using strategy after strategy but all of the strategies were being foiled by the monster. The monster was also using magic as well as it adapted. It was getting worse and places of Equestria were being wrecked.

Twilight had an idea of a final plan but kept it to herself as she would tell her friends if they didn't defeat it anytime soon. She knew her friends wouldent like it but she would try to convince them and if not she would have to do it anyway.

They were starting to despair. Even optimistic Pinkie Pie was getting sad over the whole situation. It was the most powerful thing they have ever fought. It was worse than Tirek and it was bigger an Tirek. In was enormous. Celestia was trying not to worry about the mane six but secretly she was as she tried to remain strong for Equestria. Luna was hugging her softly crying as Celestia comforted her.

Twilight and her friends kept fighting the monster doing everything they could to defeat it. Twilight was almost out of ideas as she carried out every single idea she could with her friends. All of them tried shooting lasers at it together and alls that did was hit it a little bit piss it off. The Sonic Rainboowm couldent destroy it either.

Twilight was starting to get to the plan she didn't want to carry it out but still kept it under wraps as her friends would be upset at what she might possibly have to do and as the battle dragged on it became more and more clear that she would have to use her final resort. She would have to tell all of her friends about it and Spike would get word of it which she didn't want to think of his reaction of her plan if it was carried out. She held on to her plan for a little bit more but it was becoming clear she would have to use it.

While fighting it the creature threw her into a tree and her freinds landed by her and the monster continued to use a city. Twilight breathed for a bit preparing herself. She then decided to tell them but in an obvious clue. She turned to her freinds as her friends all looked at her. She smiled as tears entered her eyes.

"I love you girls." Twilight said as her words were laced with finality. They all realized what she was gonna do. Pinkie Pies mane went flat as she broke down in sobs and hugged her tightly. Twilight kissed Pinkie on the forehead and turned to her friends and smiled.

"I'm going to sacrifice myself to save you girls." Twilight said. They all started to cry and beg her not to do it. Twilight chuckled sadly.

"This has been my home for years. I can't see it be destroyed. I also can't see you girls be hurt. I know you all love me and I cherish my friendship with you all." Twilight said smiling sadly.

"No...don't do this!!" Rarity sobbed. Twilight smiled.

"Please don't do what we think your going to do! W don't want you to die!" Pinkie Pie cried

"Please don't abandoned us like how I never abandoned you or any pony else." Rainbow Dash said.

"We need to stick together." Applejack said.

"Please stay safe!" Fluttershy begged.

"You girls are my life." Twilight smiled. She hugged them once more and broke away from the hug quickly and did a start run and then flew from the ground to the monster. Fluttershy tried to reach to her crying.

"No! Twilight!" Fluttershy screamed. Twilights face grew into a determined look as she flew upwards forwards the monster. The monster growled at her. Twilight flew faster and faster as she started up a spell. The spell grew big off her horn as her horn grew bright and her eyes grew white as she filled up with power.

Tears entered Twilights eyes as she gave a determined yell and in one swift moment stabbed the monster and the monster screamed out. Twilight yelled out. The monster then pulled its arm back and stabbed Twilight in the chest. Twilight cried out. Twilight let out one final yell and lit up her horn all up in the spell and burst the spell throughout the monsters heart. The monster let out one final yell and the spell stabbed and the monster fell over flinging Twilight to the ground with Twilight laying motionless her coat covered in her own blood.

Quietly her friends walked to her body and saw her wound and realized she was dead they all knelt by her as Pinkie Pie held her in her arms as tears started to fall from Rarities and Pinkies eyes. Rarity touched Twilights hair and brushed Twilights hair back and Pinkie Pie sobbed as she kissed Twilight on the forehead. Fluttershy swaddled Twilights body in a blanket and they held her while crying. Pinkie started to break into even more tears as she kissed Twilight on the cheek and sobbed.

They all cried as they looked down at her as they grieved for their dead friend. Pinkie Pie kissed Twilight on the cheek as she shook with sobs. She looked up at her friends. Rainbow Dash frowned as she cried as well.

Slowly the citizens of Equestria slowly walked forwards with tears in her eyes. They all couldent believe it. Pinkie kissed Twilights cheek and continued to sob as the blanket covered the blood so they didn't have to see it. Celestia heard about it and flew over. Celestia broke down sobbing. And all the ponies lowered their heads.

The royal guards and Twilights parents went over to Twilights body and they both sobbed hysterically. They slowly and carefully kept Twilight in the blanket and moved her to Canterlot. They put her respectively in a coffin and a funural for her as her coffin was draped in the Equestrian flag. They pulled it along the roads of Canterlot filled with lines of Ponies from all over Equestria. They reached a white marble tomb and they lowered her in it and sealed the tomb. As the funural finished ponies quietly walked home in groups consoling eachother. Rarity was sobbing as she spoke.

"I'm going to have to get the envelope for the money to pay the funural director." As she sniffed and sobbed. Ponies had quiet conversations except for Twilights friends who were still sad as they started to think of a new bearer for the element of magic. Applejack sent a letter to Celstia about this.

A week later Applejack sent another letter and Celestia responded saying that's he new bearer of the element of magic would be Starlight. A few days later Rainbow Dash quietly stared at Twilights tomb. She layed a flower down by it and slowly walked away. As she walked away a crack grew in the tomb. Nopony never figured out why there was a crack. Nopony never messed with it as nopony would be like that as they all loved Twilight.

They gave up about he crack and they simply put a filling in the crack and a week later the crack filled up and wasn't there anymore. Twilights friends and family and citizens that knew her visited her tomb often paying here respects to the princess.
